Recently purchased a car from Denise. I started my car shopping process online and out of the 10 or so salespeople at different dealers that I contacted, Denise was the most helpful. She's redefined my idea of what a car salesperson is! If you're looking to purchase, definitely work with Denise. She's very knowledgeable and works with you at the pace you're most comfortable. She didn't try to sell me on features that are pretty standard these days like adjustable seats or steering wheels that tilt. Even though the sale's complete (a few weeks ago) she's been incredibly responsive to questions that I've had. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because a few of the other sales people didn't provide the same experience when I first visited the dealership. They were nice, but a tad pushy. I have been going here for service for 5 years since I bought my car here. I was very happy with the old team. I have been disappointed lately. Now the people who work there are young boys that don't seem to know anything about cars. The new manager isn't that friendly anymore. Last one of the lights was on. I was nervous. I called. They told me to come so they can take a look at it. When I got there they all just stood there and when I asked they said oh all technicians are busy. Come back next week or leave your car here. Uhmmm... and how am I going to go home. They didn't care. One of them looked at my car. He said oh yeah that's the engine light. I was nervous. But he said it's okay. Someone else said see if it's smells like burning. He said no. Today my car would t start. I called AAA. They came. The looked at it. It's the battery light. They changed it and it's fixed. Husband and I went to purchase a car from Tuttle-Click and it was my first time buying a car. The team has really set the bar high for what good service should be. I'm a little clueless and a pushover when it comes to sales tactics, but my husband is very experienced. Even he was blown away by the sincerity and amount of actual knowledge they carry. When we came in, Bill gave a warm greeting and asked what we were looking for. He then took us to look at the car and began explaining ALL the parts and components (which none of the other dealers could even begin to do and we went to 5), actually knowing all the answers to our questions. It's entirely up to you if you want to read this review but hopefully it will help you understand this particular dealer better and give you some insight that might help you . This is a five star rating of Tuttle-Click Mazda because they earned it in every aspect during the sales experience. I'll get to why near the bottom of this but I wanted to give you a bit of a background that might help you make an informed choice and have a good dealership experience Since the economy has been better over the last couple of years I've been involved in the purchase of a few new cars. I myself still drive an old paid off SUV but then I don't want to have a $1,000 SUV payment... but that's just me. I probably purchased 25 new cars over my life and that's not just for me but for family and also being there when extended family bought cars because I was their go-to guy. One key to a good dealership experience is to deal with one that is not pushy but still knows that they have a job to do, and who knows their product, and is professional and personal at the same time. It's a good idea for you to tell them what you're looking for and then just listen. You can tell within a few minutes whether the people you're dealing with are the right or wrong kind. That said, the absolute number one key to a good experience is to be prepared including to have your own financing in place if possible as a backup in case dealer financing is not as attractive, and to know what the market rates are. It's important to note that timing is very important and in my case I bought a car on October 31st, historically the slowest sales day of the year next to Christmas Eve ....and it was month-end. It's likely that not everyone will get the same deal in November or in June or January but it all depends on their inventory, the amount of demand on the unit you want, whether or not the dealer is motivated to move the unit, and whether you're willing to walk away which is the very best negotiating tool a buyer has. If the dealer is being evasive and not answering questions or you asked one or two questions and they only answer one or they answer a question you never asked, that's a bad sign. This particular dealer did none of those negative things. As a matter of fact our sales person, Sevki, just answered our questions one after another and any suggestions he made were very minor and in the spirit of the questions that we had asked. He didn't push us to anything in particular or tell us what to like or what to think, but he pointed out things that our question had relevance to but maybe we didn't think to ask. That's the sign of a true professional. He also didn't ask for information from us just to talk to him and again when you're dealing with someone on a slower day they do have more time to invest in you but then he was just a great guy so I was double lucky. I had a number in mind that I was willing to pay and for the most part stuck to it even though it was a bit aggressive. It was important to note that while the car I was helping my daughter purchase had a few if any of the desired color and options available at most dealerships, so alternatively we were looking at lesser options in the same model that were almost as attractive. We were fortunate that this dealer, the closest to us, had the exact car at the top of our list. The way I look at it is that you should buy the most you can afford because if you buy something cheap you enjoy it the day you buy it but if you buy something slightly extravagant you enjoy it all the days you own it. When we saw that we could negotiate the top-of-the-line product at a cost above the next level that was less than what it would have cost us to add any of those options, that's when we decided to pull the trigger. Of course never pay full manufacturer suggested retail price and I won't discuss the specifics of our deal because you know when you're getting a good deal and I'm not going to tell you what that is, but I can tell you is the best deal isn't always the very first possible price offered. We didn't judge our sales person on anyting but the way he treated us and that's what I suggest you do. That said, Sevki was a 10 out of 10. I genuinely like the guy because I feel he is genuine and I have a pretty good sense of when people all right. He represented Tuttle-Click very well. On the financing side is generally where you get opportunities to buy service related products on top of the purchase of your car. Chris, our financing guy was outstanding in every way and nice to deal with. Just do the math on everything before you make decisions... but he'll point you in the right direction. My gf and I bought a brand new CX-5 here 8 months ago. The car is great except for one thing, the breaks are squeaky. From the very first day they've been squeaky. Because this car was for my gf I let her handle all of the visits and it seems that every time she brings it up, the person she deals with is telling her that it is normal and it will go away over time. She brought it into another Mazda dealership in Tustin and they did some sort of maintenance on it, saying Tuttle click was wrong and it needed some sort of repair. I'm in the car with my window down right now and the squeaks are just as loud as when we got the car. I'm not with her all the time and we are both busy people so it's hard for us to keep bringing it in for maintenance only to be told it is normal. She likes her car very much, but when I take my Toyota in to Tustin Toyota I've got nothing but spectacular service. read more

Below is a reason why I will NEVER buy a Mazda from Tuttle Click in Irvine. Let me start by saying that I bought my 2015 Mazda 3 from Tuttle Click in Irvine with no problems. This time, however, was completely a different story. Granted I know COVID has changed things, so I will give them that. On a Saturday I walked into the Tuttle Click Irvine Mazda dealership and talked to an internet salesperson about the process of holding a Mazda CX30 incoming/in transit car and possible test drive. They didn't have any cars on the lot to test drive that weren't already on hold for the CX30 model. The internet salesperson told me the procedure to hold a car was to sign a contract and they then would hold the car and once it came in I would be able to test drive at that point. I was assured that the contract was non-binding, just a formality to hold the car. The contract was to be e-mailed to me by the finance department. I was also told they couldn't give me a price on the car until it came in. So, this is when things get really sketchy at best. The next day the finance department e-mailed me the contract. Mind you, the contract they sent me was no different from their regular sales contract - as if you were buying a car. Conveniently they had a price for the car (which I hadn't agreed to, because I was told they couldn't give me an actual price until it was on their lot) along and some ridiculous APR of 6.97%. I have excellent credit and would have qualified for the 1.9% APR they were offering at the time - which they knew because they ran my credit. There were several factors that had to align before I was going to buy the car. First, the price obviously, 2nd the APR and third how much they would give for my trade in. I did my research to know what the car should cost, along with my trade in value. I didn't have to buy a car; I just wanted a new one. My current 2015 Mazda 3 was in good condition with only 36,000 miles. (Which ironically, I bought from them)! At this point I called the internet salesperson to let her know I was not comfortable with signing this contract and needed something in writing stating this contract that was e-mailed to me was non-binding, simply a formality to hold the car. I then asked if they would take a credit card refundable payment of $500 instead of a signed contract. She said they didn't do that at that time. I was then told I needed to call the finance department. Unfortunately, when I called, no one answered, so I got a voicemail. Left a message in the early morning with no return call that day. Called the next day and had to leave another message - again with NO call back! At this point I was pretty much done with this dealership. Poor, poor service, especially from a repeat customer of theirs. For any customer really. I decided to call San Juan Mazda to see what their protocol was for holding cars "in transit". Guess what? All they required was a $500 credit card deposit that was refundable if you decided not to take the car after the test drive. Bottom line here is I called Tuttle Click in Irvine and told them to take the car off hold and immediately called San Juan Mazda to put a credit card deposit for the car I wanted with them. I am all too aware that to some extent car dealers have the upper hand here. I tell them to take the car off hold and some other sucker will snag it up right away. But Tuttle Click in Irvine has lost me as a customer for the future as well as my family and anybody else I can think of telling. All I needed was a simple call back from finance department to explain how they came up with these numbers and to e-mail me something in writing stating the contract was non-binding. I feel like they were totally trying to get me sign some erroneous sales contract, which did not differentiate from a regular sales contract and try to hold me liable for some ridiculous APR, along with some price I never agreed to. I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handled (Or not handled). Word to the wise, if you want transparency or a return call....don't go to the Mazda Irvine Tuttle Click! read more

A year ago we stopped by to see if they could match another dealer price, Riverside Mazda. The sales rep said no way anyone can give the price we were quoted. So we drove all the way to Riverside and got the car there for the "no way" price. Afterwards we always brought the car to Tuttle-Click for oil changes, "The Works" which includes oil change and tire rotation. 17k miles later the low tire pressure light comes on. Check the tires and both front are low. Took to America's Tire Co next to my work and was told the insides of both front tires are bald and shredded down to the steel fibers. In their professional opinion the tires have never been rotated. Paid for new tires, and took the old ones to show the dealer. Dealer says alignment was off which caused the damage. Took the car to an independent alignment shop and was told the alignment was off only by a fraction and would not cause that kind of wear on the tires. In their professional opinion the tires were never rotated. Brought all the paper work that states that the damage to the tires were because the tires were never rotated and the dealer referred us to Mazda Corporate. Mazda Corp said they would investigate and call back. A week later, no call. I called and they said the dealer is independently own/operated and to deal with them. It takes a week to come to that conclusion? Two new tires cost $350. If Tuttle-Click Mazda compensated the cost of the new tires then I would say they were a good business. One that would admit their techs neglected to rotate the tires for whatever reason, could be they were rushing or simply forgot. The bottom line is they didn't do the tire rotations and won't take responsibility for the damage caused. We considered buying a second Mazda but not anymore. This was our first Mazda and will be the last. Both the dealer and Mazda Corp have done nothing to keep our business. read more

We had a very nice sales person - Daniel. Everything was going great, we had already received the proper price to pay for the car through Costco so there wasn't much to discuss. Then we asked what they would give us for our trade-in. We didn't have to trade it in to make the deal, we just wanted to see what they would give so perhaps, it would save us from the hassle of selling it ourself. We have a 2004 RAV4 in great condition. Wholesale Blue Book 7100 -8200. He came back with an offer of $750.00. I said, you mean $7500? Ummm no, he said. I said there's clearly a mistake can you go back and check on that price. After trying to defend the price. He came back and said, well how about $1500. I couldn't believe he was serious. Then when we got up to leave: the apology came, oh sorry we wrote the mileage down incorrectly how about $5000.00. We all make mistakes, me more than my share but once we realize a mistake has been made take responsibility and fix it. Common Sense made it obvious there was a mistake but rather than say hmm something is strange let me see what's up they tried to stick to the ridiculous offer and defend it. This was really disappointing because as I said the sales rep was very nice and helpful. We went to Tustin Mazda and worked with Lou, he was FANTASTIC. The trade in price was $6250.00 were still going to sell it ourselves. Just a quick update: we sold the car today using Craig's list for $7950 read more

Car was in good shape, no problems with it yet (knock on wood), but they made so many little mistakes in the process that made you stop and say, "How long have you guys been doing this again?". Not a place I would probably buy from again. Update as of 12-07-11 This whole situation has only become more of a nightmare, so I think I should share the whole thing with you all. To start out with when we bought the car, they forgot to have us sign some rather important credit disclosure forms (as I said above, how long have you guys been doing this again?). And on top of that we find out they lost the papers from the smog check they did on the car, so I have to find time in my schedule to drive all the way back up there to get another smog check done before they can register it for me (at risk of sounding redundant, how long have you guys been doing this again?). Finally, here we are in December, I bought the car in May mind you, and I still don't have license plates. I was explicitly told by the dealership that I would be receiving them in the mail. Well we just got the renewal notice in the mail and I'm thinking "I don't even have a plate yet, why should I be paying this?". So when my husband goes in to the DMV to pay, they tell us "You probably have them. Nine times out of ten the dealership hides them under their advertisement on the back of the car." Sure enough, when we look, there they are. I can't even believe it. I mean I am literally blown away by how much of a pain in the...you know what...this has been. We were previously at Toyota and was ready to get their car. Something told me to head to Mazda. Thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Pharose (Farose?, I'm sorry I'm not sure how to spell it). He was VERY knowledgeable on the questions I had asked which I had already known, but wanted to see if he knew the car, and just easy to work with. At Toyota, the sales person had no idea what I was asking. We decided to wait and sleep on it, and when given the specs at the other dealership, they were not upfront and honest with us (once again that was Toyota). In the afternoon today, we called back at Mazda to confirm the deal we worked out with them yesterday with no hidden costs or anything. Basically making sure everything they told me was true. And it was. We are sad our sales guy wasn't there to finish off the deal because he was awesome, but Christian the finance manager was AMAZING. The experience with him was just so awesome, I was so happy we got to work with him. He explained everything to me answering all my questions in a way I could understand it, and did NOT lie to us at all about anything. After doing some online vehicle research, we finally stopped into Tuttle-Click Mazda to take a look at the CX-5. After letting us explore, Sean walked up and introduced himself and gave us a walkthrough of the CX-5's features and was able to answer our questions regarding trim level differences and available promotional interest rates and showed us the new 2014 Mazda 6. Awesome Service !!! My previous car was giving me issues so I decided I needed an upgrade.I came here after test driving other similar suvs at dealers in the area . I walked in about 15 mins before their closing time just to browse ,the salesman Parsa offered to let me test drive a cx-5 without hesitation or commitment . After test driving a cx-5 I wanted to get an estimate of what a payment would be and the sales manager Nick and salesman Parsa worked out an amazing monthly payment which I couldn't pass up and they took my car as a trade in . Parsa took his time and walked me through the features and settings of the car far past their closing time and gave me his number in case I had any other questions. He has followed up with me to ensure I am still liking the car and to answer any questions I had. The entire process was quick and easy, the guys there have been super helpful and made me feel like I was more than a customer. I am LOVING my new 2016 Mazda CX-5!! If you're looking for a new car I would recommend this dealer. If you don't see the car you want in their front lot then ask because they have a bigger inventory in the back. read more

Tuttle-Click Mazda - Sales - My new cx-5!!! - Car Dealers Near Me - Irvine, California

This dealership misdiagnosed my issue and it almost cost me $1500. I took my car in for regular maintenance and I warned them at least twice that I have a faulty park switch (a common problem with Mazdas) which sometimes leaves my battery/radio running even if you put the car in park and turn the engine off. When I returned to pick up my car, my battery had died because they left the baterry/radio running. They jumped my car and later noticed that the Bluetooth, USB, Sirius, Pandora, and AUX options were all blacked out on my display screen and I was no longer able to charge my phone through the USB port. I called them awhile later and told them that it was working perfectly fine before they killed my battery. Took my car back in to have them diagnose, and they TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY $1000 FOR A NEW BLUETOOTH MODULE THAT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE I DROPPED IT OFF LAST TIME. I then took my car to a regular 'ol repair shop and not only did this repair shop fix my park switch for half the price the dealership wanted to charge me, they fixed my Bluetooth by just doing a hard reset AND didn't charge me a dime for it....$250 sure beats $1500. Never EVER going here again. I wrote a nice complaint about this dealership to Mazda Customer Experience. A guy named Mac from CE followed up with me the very next day and told me the manager at this dealership (Travis?) would contact me to talk about my experience. Never heard anything from the dealership, but CE is still following up with me to ask if Travis ever called me. Shows how much this dealership cares. read more

Using the national Mazda site, I found that Tuttle-Click Mazda had exactly the CX-5 I wanted. Having completed my research already, I used the form and was in immediate e-mail contact with Denise and was able to negotiate a very fair price. While Denise was out, Brian was very willing to complete everything else needed through the phone and through my visit down to the dealer. While I arrived on a busy day, Brian was still able to make my transaction move quickly and smoothly. He was friendly and informative, truly making my experience at Mazda a good one. I qualified for Mazda's promotional financing. Finance manager Nick was very informative and was able to walk me through the entire process well, which added a great deal to my overall experience. Finally, as I went on my own directly after work, I had no one to drive my loaner car or my new Mazda. The dealer was able to get my new vehicle home to me, which eliminated that as a worry. Brought my car in for an oil change and waited 15 minutes just to be greeted. Tyler the Sales manager was extremely rude and inpatient. Asked a couple questions regarding price matching a service Browning Mazda was offering and was answered with a rude "no" Not only was he rude but also did not offer any alternatives. I decided to give Turtle-Click Mazda a try to save myself a 30 minute drive and this experiment failed. I will be taking my car to Browning Mazda of Cerritos where I know I will be treated with courtesy and respect. read more

Do not purchase a car from this dealership. They are dishonest and will tack fees upon the sale without telling you. Then when you go to get your car serviced they are incompetent. I told them there was a nail in my tire because it was leaking air and they didn't even check, they just filled the tires with air. When I went back a week later for the same problem they wanted to sell me 4 new tires for $1000. No thank you. Tire was fixed for free at Tucker Tires, an honest company. I have bought and leased many cars in my life, and I have never experienced the level of service I received at Tuttle-Click Mazda. I visited many different days while researching the vehicle I ultimately bought, so I ended up meeting most of the staff. Without exception, everyone was professional, courteous, very informative, and--above all--patient while I went through the sometimes circuitous route to making my final decision. In addition to the service, the line-up of cars at Mazda represented the best value of all the cars I researched (and I researched a lot!). Moreover, in my opinion, the new Mazdas are among the most attractive of any cars on the road, including many much, much more expensive cars. If I could give them 6 stars, I most certainly would--these guys deserve it!! read more
