Outstanding service and delicious food. My daughter and I stayed at the La Quinta Resort and dined here for dinner on a Friday night. The large restaurant was moderately busy. Most patrons were seated outside where the vibe was relaxed, social, fun and loud. We were seated inside were the vibe was relaxed and quite. The menu had something for everyone. Both being vegetarians, we ordered 2 veggie pizzas, edamame and the Beets and Burrata Salad. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time, was nicely plated and was in large portion. At the time of presentation, we realized we ordered much more than we could eat. The salad and edamame were delicious! The pizzas were tasty and very filling. Just about everything could improve. Three of us went for happy hour. We wanted to sit in the bar area and have a glass of wine and some bar food. The server didn't know her wine and seemed only to try and stir us to the wine list instead of the happy hour glass of house wine. Didn't know what wines were available. We finally got that straightened out. After we finished our wine and munchies it was difficult to get her attention to bring the check, like over fifteen minutes!!! She spent a lot of time at the front podium laughing and joking with friends and then she went to the bar and spent more time with them. We finally had to wave down a manager to ask for the bill. Regarding the munchies....we ordered quesadillas and when they arrived no dipping sauce or guacamole or sour cream....so that was a disappointment. We went for breakfast. It was ok. I ordered a burrito with no egg, $25. So it came like a quesadilla, in 4 triangles. The hash brown, came as a side and tasted fishy and disgusting. That was left on the plate. When we went back for drinks at the bar later that night, we sat for over 5 min while the bartender and server talked in front of us and refused to acknowledge us. We just celebrated my dad's bday at Twenty6 for lunch and what a lovely experience. At first. I will start by saying the food and everything the restaurant staff did was on point. We were the only ones dining here (a family of four showed up half way through) and the service and staff were just great. Our waiter, Roberto, is personable and efficient and I hope he's our server again next time. We all loved our food, I had a roasted cauliflower salad, mom had the lump crab cake (massive!), and dad had a BBQ chicken flatbread pizza. Roberto was so sweet and brought us out dessert to celebrate my dads bday, which was delicious (cheesecake with a scoop of yummy vanilla ice cream!) The problems happened when I tried to pay with a La Quinta Resort gift card I had (the restaurant is one of its dining facilities). First I was told the machine isn't working, then I was told they no longer accept gift cards. I decided to call the sales office (since there was no number to call on the damn gift card!) I spoke with their controller in the accounting department who eventually got it figured out, but this process took 45 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE FINISHED OUR MEAL! I was shocked that by this point they wouldn't have comped part of the meal. (Turns out the gift card I had was from when they were still part of PGA West even though it was a LQR gift card, what an ordeal!) As long as you don't have a gift card though, you'll have a lovely experience with good food and great service. read more

Set inside the gorgeous La Quinta resort this restaurant has become one of our favorite places to come for breakfast. They offer valet parking and it's a short walk to the restaurant from there. The grounds are beautifully maintained in classic California desert style. They offer standard breakfast with hearty portions and good and strong coffee. Went here on Christmas Eve, so obviously not the ideal time. BUT, they shouldn't take a reservation when they don't have the staff to handle it. We waited 45 minutes after seating before a server even appeared. Several times during this, we asked for a server. Finally attained a wine list after 30 some minutes ($24/glass for very average wine). Once we were finally helped, the food came almost immediately; pretty clearly not made to order. Overpriced burgers on top of two glasses of wine, with tax and tip, ran us $120! Keep in mind that, whether they call it Waldorf Estonia or not, it's basically a sports bar. Bottom line: overpriced place with little ambiance and average food, The poor service I blame not on the overworked servers but on management. You'll get better service, food & ambiance at your average neighborhood sports bar. And save a lot of money. read more

Bottom line don't waste time or money here- Fortun's and Enzo's are only 5 minutes away from resort but so much better read more

We didn't have a chance to try the food while staying here but we did pop in one weeknight for a couple drinks. The bartender was the nicest and made delicious drinks. He said he even makes the garnish himself everyday so that was great. The prices are standard for a resort so don't be surprised by that. Patrons were spaced out, and the staff were wearing masks. I ordered the lox, and they gave me what seemed like a whole packet of salmon! I couldn't finish it because it was so much.
