Hot dogs, tacos, burgers, homemade chips! In an effort to spend wisely on vacation, we fortunately stumbled across this tiny order- at-front restaurant. With a variety of selections, it took us a good size minutes to decide when looking at the chalkboard that listed the menu. The deal breaker with this place is that most of the orders come with a side of homemade chips. While a hot dog may not seem like a go-to order for the price listed ($7-$8), it is definitely worth it. I can also say that it's the best hot dog I've ever had! (The Detroit). We stayed in Fenwick DE, so we decided to give this a try based on previous Yelp reviews. The first time we tried it everyone was happy with their meals and nothing was amiss. However, the second time we ordered from this restaurant we were missing all but one order of chips and the order was incomplete. We didn't realize until we got back to the hotel so not much to do at that point. We ordered a burger, large cheesesteak, fish tacos and a hot dog with fries for $56.00. I ordered the fish tacos at the recommendation of the cashier which had no sauce or seasoning and frankly were very dry! Full disclosure, I don't eat hot dogs. I've just never liked the taste. I've heard local friends rave about this place; I checked out their menu and found that they had other items than hot dogs. It's right in the Village of Fenwick so parking is easy. The service was not the friendliest; that's OK, it's just a grab-and-go joint, plus it was busy and hot in there. The server was efficient, however, and was on top of drink refills. I saw that they had fish tacos on their menu and was looking forward to trying them. I also wanted to try their french fries as they are advertised as fresh cut; unfortunately, the fries only come in one size and I'm pretty sure one order would have been way too much for me. Fish tacos with a diet coke and tip came to around $15; a bit pricey, but everything in this area has inflated prices during the season. When I got my fish tacos, I eagerly bit into one. They put a very large piece of fish in there, and it was blackened quite nicely; the seasoning had a little bit of a kick but not overly so. The cabbage and other toppings blended nicely with the fish; the sauce they put on was delicious. These were very large tacos, so one order easily makes a meal. I'll be back for sure! We had a great lunch yesterday at Twilley Willys! We started with the chili cheese fries which were spot on. Best I have ever had. I got the Baltimore dog and my husband got the Detroit dog. So tasty! The rolls were fresh and tasted like they were made that morning. They have a quaint little bar with large TVs for watching sports. Our bartender Mike was fantastic. Got hungry when I was around town, and didn't wanna get anything too heavy... so I came here to grab a good hotdog! I order the Seattle, with less cream cheese. And it was pretty good! Has sautéed onions which really made it taste amazing... these hotdogs are mighty huge, and comes with a little baggie of chips. I was definitely satisfied and not overly full after that. I was here a few years back when it was different owners. Literally the back deck is fantastic for views and ambiance. Brought a large group for a birthday dinner the place was empty. Two people were at the bar. The staff were kind and attentive (how could you not be when we were the only ones there). But none the less great job taking care of a large party. The food was basic. Hence the two stars. Think slightly below average bar food. The specials seemed best, tuna tacos. Otherwise nothing to write home about. One thing that really bothered me is that the owner charges an added 3.5% for credit card use. That is per card if your splitting a bill with others. Bad business practice!! We won't be back just based on that principle. With an empty restaurant your going to charge a credit card fee? You should be thanking us for coming in and giving your empty place business for the evening. Save yourself some time. Go to Catch 54 or head to Bethany beach. read more

We made our way across the bar room to a long wooden table with barstools and were handed paper menus. It was easy reading and even clean. (Nothing worse than sticky plastic menus). I got the cauliflower taco on a corn tortilla with cilantro creme. I think that was one of the best tacos I have ever had in my 47 years! I can't stress enough how unorganized this place is. I wish I could give you a review on the food, but since I couldn't get any, I can't. If I owned this place, I would take a hard look at my bartenders because the one on a Saturday night cost you business. There was another couple at the bar when I arrived. Did they have a drink or food? No. Were they waiting for service ? Yes. Was the bartender standing right there ? Yes. Were there any other customers at the bar besides the 3 of is? After a few minutes, the couple left. I gave it a few more minutes, partly because I wasn't in a rush, and partly because I was curious to see how long this guy would flat out ignore me. This place is awesome. I'm on vacation with three very picky eaters and the menu was diverse and tasty enough to have them not even know what to choose! All the food was very good and very reasonably priced for a vacation dinner of that quality. This place is amazing! Definitely one of the more lowkey spots on Fenwick right now, but it deserves the hype. They have outdoor seating right on the bay and it's amazing. Our service was great and fast when we went. I'm usually not a big fan of hotdogs, I have to really be in the mood for them, and this place definitely exceeded any expectations that I had. On vacation to Fenwick Island beach and relied on Yelp for assistance in finding a bite to eat. Twilley's Willys had really good reviews. Upon arrival we found the atmosphere really bright, comfortable and clean; decorated in an island/surfer theme, really nice. Behind the counter was a gentleman who greeted us and helped us decide on our supper. With so much to choose from I went with the cheese steak sandwich and the girlfriend went with fish tacos. Both came with the homemade potato chips which were excellent. My cheese steak was loaded with my choice of onions, lettuce, & tomato. Bread is very good and they have so many additional sauces at the counter (I tried many with the chips).
