You really need to coke with a huge appetite. They give you the option to do either Korean BBQ buffet only or hot pot buffet or you can do both for slightly more $. First time we were there my husband and I did both. We got the miso soup base for the broth and it was meh. It wa flavorless in my opinion. My favorite meat us beef bulgogi. Delish! You get to experience cooking your own food while eating and socialize. The second time we went my family members ordered the hot pot, Korean bbq AND sushi rolls. Wooh! This time around I got the healthy herb and it SO YUMMY! I recommend this one. I like the variety of options for meat and veggies for the Korean bbq and the hot pot. Be careful though. I'm pretty sure they brought a couple of things we did not order and they said we did. It is included since it is buffet but I believe you can get charged if you don't eat a lot of your food. So keep track of what you order!!! There is a salad bar and...goodies bar. They have cilantro, kimchi, peanuts, ginger, salad, some small desserts. Our waiter was very nice. Michael. Super friendly!! Plenty of parking. Nice staff. They come around often to check on dirty/empty plates, etc. The place is by the water so awesome views! Come check it out!

We were immediately greeted, and pricing was explained because seating location depended on what we chose to eat: hot pot only, KBBQ only, or both. 1 was $34.99, and for both was an additional $5. We chose KBBQ. After seated, we were presented with food and drink menus, but since drinks were not included, we chose water. We can order up to 8 items, which we did, and while waiting we were directed to the sauce and appetizer/banchan area. I chose broccoli, jap chae, and salad and returned to my table. Someone was already bringing our 8 items. We had several rounds although not always 8 items each time, and eventually we were full. Our favorites were the LA galbi, beef belly, and marinated bulgogi. Some of the meats were a little tough, but that generally happens with the leaner loin beef. Our grill was swapped out multiple times without our asking, and our water cups were promptly topped off throughout the evening. Food was brought out promptly each time by either a person or a robot. Our server was putting on a show; he spoke several languages to us and made jokes, not interfering with our meal but being entertaining. We sat next to the window so were able to look out into the beautiful lagoon as our view. I don't know if there is a time limit, but we were not rushed. All employees were pleasant, not rushing. I don't eat desserts, but my dining partners enjoyed the yogurt from the machine and mango pudding. Our server recommended adding the peanut sauce and peanuts to the yogurt, which was appreciated. We don't have a lot of choices for AYCE, so I will return. I've only been here once before for hot pot and don't always remember that it's here. I saw some of the negative reviews about being rushed or pushy service and am glad I didn't experience this during our dinner.

We came here as soon as they opened. I love that you have the option to do both or either bbq or hotpot. They have a salad bar with condiments/sauces, one for appetizers, and another for desserts. Each table is connected to a conveyer belt that rotates things you can have for your hotpot but you can also take stuff for bbq. Meats were pretty good. Definitely best enjoyed with people but would absolutely be coming back. One of my favorite places that I've been to. Waiter was nice and even helped us bbq a little. Casual and fun atmosphere. They have a big tv or screen behind the bar and had soccer on.

WIthin minutes of ordering, food was arriving at our table. For those which have never been, it's and All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ and we added the hot pot combo for just $5 more per person, which was an incredible value for we took some of those meats and put those on the cooker. Our favorite meats on the grill were the short ribs, garlic pork belly, and garlic brisket. Everything was fresh including the garlic. For the Hot Pot you grab items right off the revolving conveyor belt. Besides everything else (noodles, seafood, veg, and things we'd never seen) we managed to snag a bunch of tiger shrimp. The conveyor spins clockwise and we were at 1 o'clock, so before anyone else had a chance, those were in our bowls or on our plates - selfish for sure, but it still counts as a win. Drinks & Extras: All the starters and mains were delicious. (Though honestly, skip the desserts--those were pretty sub-par, but you're not here for dessert anyway!) But beware - the soju pitcher looks like a carafe of water. I poured a big glass and took a big gulp. It was a "bit" of a surprise. Water has a green lid. Lol. Our server was top-notch! He was super attentive, changed our griddle grill frequently, bussed dishes quickly, and brought out meat rounds as fast as we could ask for them. He even helped cook a few items on our behalf. Service like that made it easy to leave a well-deserved cash tip. Overall we had a fantastic lunch experience and will definitely be back, to try the dinner menu. For only $9 more for dinner, the Wagyu on there is definitely going to dominate my plate. I just need to get there as soon as dinner begins so they can figure out how to roll me out....

There's plenty of parking and the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. Upon entering, staff was welcoming and friendly. They offered to explain the instructions on how to build the bowls for barbecuing. A table will be assigned ahead of time and set with water mugs and utensils. There is a large variety of ingredients to build your mongolian bbq bowl such as baby corn, mushrooms, onions, and more. In case of indecision, there are posted instructions for a sauce recipe in the sauce area. All items chosen end up on the grill at the end and returned back to you in a singular large bowl. It wasn't amazing, but it was made fresh and it all tasted pretty good. It's also interesting to see how much I would have spent had I ordered à la carte, and it was a lot more than I did spend. The service is really good here. I appreciate that once I chose my 3 items at a time they took the menu and brought things out quickly. Once I was done with 3 items I would order three more. In my experience, AYCE places purposely tend to make you wait more so you will get full waiting. That didn't happen here and I appreciate that! As far as the food is concerned, I ordered either hand rolls, nigiri or full sushi rolls. I try to stay clear of anything fried as I know that will fill me up very quickly. I really enjoyed the unagi hand roll as well as the Alaska Roll. I also liked the Salmon skin hand roll, but I would've liked the salmon skin crispier. The nigiri was ok. The rice was decent, but didn't hold together super well when you dipped in soy sauce. Overall, a really good experience and I will be back since it's such a great deal!

She really cares about the QUALITY of her seafood and always keeps us updated when she's sourcing from new places around the world so everything stays super fresh year-round. We saw to people there and they greeted us when we came in. Seemed like it was a mom and daughter. They were very nice. They sat us down and gave us the menu and how the ayce works. I am not sure how to rate the food. The selection of seafood that you can pick was nice. Clams, mussels, shrimp and crawfish were the seafood picks you can do. Potatoes, sausage, corn were the free add on that you can do. I do not eat crawfish, which was also a seafood pick, so I can't review that. Everything was good. The shrimp was hit and miss, depending on the piece. They were peel and eat, but some shrimps were mushy meaning those shrimps were old. It was tolerable. Nothing that I haven't had before. I'll let it go for the price point they offer. The clam and mussels were good. As expected. The sausage, corn and potatoes were good as well. The place was pretty legit. The fried shrimp and fried chicken wings were amazing! Freshly fried, they were juicy and steaming on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Although the place was dead (it was a Wednesday after all), we did see a lot of people come in and pick up food to-go. Not sure if they were customers or drivers picking up for Doordash/Uber Eats. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place.

The ambiance was also really nice--casual, laid-back, and perfect for sitting down and enjoying some good BBQ. Overall, definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving some good Texas BBQ!

With the exception of the big painted Texas flag on the wall and the cartoonish sponge cowboy hat,…read morethe place has nothing to do with Texas, especially the BBQ. The good news: The free sliced pickles and pickled onions, mild bbq sauce and the spicy runny bbq sauces are great! The OK news: The creamy cal slaw is fresh and crunchy (not creamy) and the Brussels sprout is crispy and nice (not very Texan as the name gives it away). The "smoked beans" are more like the English Heinz beans, a la beans on toast, in a thick sauce with an extremely faint smoke taste (you have to close your eye and let your imagination wonder). The not so good news: 1.5lb of brisket has no smoky bbq taste, zero smoke rings. It was not tender and was cooked in a hurry. Half a rack of ribs, zero bbq taste. Half a chicken, zero bbq taste, just cooked with uneven brushes of light smudges of bbq sauce slapped on it for color. The half chicken was missing the thigh (my favorite meat) , the gentleman said that they ran out of them so he put yet another large quarter clonk of breast meat. Managed to finish a wing and a bit of a quarter. Having been going to Austin every year for the last 13 years for the F1 race in October and having had true Texan bbq at the Salt Lick in Driftwood and Terry Black and Franklin, I can honestly say the we were quite disappointed, regardless of the fact the the meal cost $160. A.I. hallucinated again when I asked about the best smoked BBQ in the Bay Area. For the people who know, don't bother. P.s. the tall metal stools and chairs are designed for people with an ass the size of a nickel. Most uncomfortable. P.p.s. Not enough parking spots and parking sucks down to 2 blocks away
