    Faded menu.

I've dined here once or twice before and loved the food and the atmosphere. Very clean and the food was delicious. The service was fantastic. No complaints. The menu needs to be updated. Really faded and hard to see. But overall it was great food and I'd come back again for sure.

Great service... great TVs. Modelo on tap. Service was great and servers were friendly. Not too busy on a Wednesday night Good time if drinking or eating.

Pineapple habanero and original hot wings and fries. Best hot wings to date and be ready for the sweats!

Had the opportunity to do a review outside of STL and headed out to Independence, MO and checked out Twin Peak bar and grill. Twin Peaks is just under a 1/2 hour from Kansas City next to several shopping areas. Twin Peaks offer the classic bar and grill vibe with a flare of lumberjack apparel for the staff. Sat at the bar during happy hour and the restaurant side was filling up very fast for the dinner rush. I went with the traditional wing order (love wings) but went out of my way to try their signature sauces. Now I've eaten my share of hot wings but Twin Peaks definitely put me to the test tonight. I went with the dozen naked bone-in wings, (they have breaded too) splitting my sauces pineapple habanero and their signature original hot ( highly recommended by bar staff). Wings were served quickly (1/2 beer wait) and didn't disappoint! For anyone who loves spicy this place is for you. Twin Peaks also has several other hot sauce options available and you can try them in advance (highly recommended). Bar staff was very friendly and always made sure you're beverage is topped off. Happy hour (3-6) specials were reasonably priced as well as multiple appetizer options. Restaurant staff was appropriately staff and servicing tables quickly and consistently. If I'm ever back in the area again, I will make the stop for another round of hot wings. If anyone wants hot wings, this is your place.

Didn't want to like it, grandson wanted to go. The waitstaff were skimpy clothes but far more conservative than Hooters. It is sports bar food with extras, grandson had the pot roast dinner which he liked. I had a Cobb Salad which was huge and delicious. Large tap and served "cold like you like it." That's what they say when they bring it. Overall Inwould probably go back-much to my surprise.

Just trying to help, that's what I do !

You know what's really good about this place? Their signature 'cup-sized' cocktails, like their…read morehouse margarita, the 'Sinner's Punch' (a house specialty), or maybe even their Long Islands. Plus, the happy hour prices are attractive and the 'portion sizes' for the drinks are more than ample. You know what else is good? The pricing. Happy hour prices aside, Saints-Independence is offering a price point that is a bit below market for their fare, and in these times, that alone can draw you in. But, ah, there's the rub. The food is pretty average, so it's a good thing that you likely aren't going to squabble over the bill. Bar & grille food isn't usually supposed to blow your hair back, but Saints has a lot of fried options that seem under-seasoned and slow to be delivered, sooo not exactly prime. The servers are friendly, but if they have to cover the patio and the bar/dining room, then it's not a surprise that things move slowly. It's a great spot to meet, given that it's just off of I-70, but join for a drink & maybe an appetizer, and my guess is that you'll come to the same conclusion: it's just...OK.

Luckily, Saints came through like a holiday hero. Even on a quiet Thanksgiving stop-in, the place felt welcoming and relaxed. The staff seemed to immediately understand that I was one hunger pang away from giving a heartfelt Oscar speech about food. Drinks arrived fast, perfectly chilled, and honestly felt like the first step in my emotional recovery. When the food hit the table, it was exactly what an empty-stomach wanderer dreams about--hot, hearty and flavorful. Every bite felt like someone whispering, "You're gonna make it, buddy." Whether it was the seasoning, the freshness, or my Thanksgiving-level starvation, everything tasted phenomenal. Saints Pub didn't just serve me a meal--they rescued me from a very dramatic holiday meltdown. If you ever find yourself hungry, tired, or simply in need of a good meal in Independence, Saints has your back.

After a quick Yelp search for neighborhood bars and sorting for "highest rated," we decided to check out Water's Edge. Who cares that we had no idea what water it was supposed to be on the edge of? We pulled into the lot, and to be honest, we looked at each other and said, "ehh, we'll see." It looks like a 1970's roadside motel, which, no lie, was super intriguing. Walk in the front door, and MY MAN! From the outside it seriously doesn't look like this place should exist. But it does! It has all the personality of a neighborhood dive bar and all the best things you love about your favorite karaoke bar. Because, yeah, this is a karaoke bar. And it's a great one. But karaoke is not what makes Water's Edge a great bar. It's not even the food, which by the way is phenomenal (try the pepper jack cheese cubes!). What makes Water's Edge a great bar is what makes any bar great - it's the bartenders. Daniel was engaging, friendly, funny, and -- most importantly -- he actually appeared to love his job. The crazy thing is that attitude seemed to permeate the staff, even as the night went on. (Cause yeah, of course we stayed.) And that, my friends, is evidence of one thing - a good boss. After meeting Ozzie, her infectious enthusiasm and charm made it clear to us that she IS the reason Water's Edge is now our go-to for every future visit to the KC area, and we may even be so bold as to claim it as our own neighborhood bar, as long as it's cool that we consider it a pretty big neighborhood. We'll be back, Ozzie, and Dan, and all you guys. Save a couple bar stools for two Cardinal fans!
