We went to Twin Peaks for the First time this evening for a " meet & greet". We had 6 at our table, 4 arrived first. The waitress moved the 4 across the restaurant to a new table for 4 with a second table next to it for the other 2 people joining. . But a different waitress came and gave the table away even though She was told "This is reserved for the rest of our table. We have 2 more coming." She seated them anyway. Then the last 2 people in our group showed up @ 6:45 pm With nowhere to sit. Our waitress said to look for a bigger table. One came open about 5 minutes later but was still dirty. So I went over and was sat at it waiting. A blonde waitress came over with 2 people trying to seat them there. I explained what happened, but she was extremely rude. She said " You cannot sir wherever you want. We DO that." Very condescending tone. I told her the situation again and that was not the case here, I was waiting for everyone to move over. That the manager was moving the ticket to this waitress. The blonde waitress was even more rude and was getting hateful when a patron sitting alone at a table said he was leaving in a minute they could have his table. This was agreeable and I thought the problem was solved but blondie turned and said " You still cannot sit at this table." So I called over to rest of the party and the manager was brought over and she took care of it and apologized. Let be clear: we were supposed to move to the table in question. This is the 3rd table for the night btw. Yay we are seated together finally at about 7:05 pm. We order drinks. Get them within 5 minutes. Ordered food. That's good. Nights looking up. Met the YouTube Celebrity from Florida. Fun. Time passes, everyone else is getting food. People who arrived after us are getting food. Our waitress has not brought us silverware but has stopped in to refill drinks. And asks us if we need anything? Yes we need food. She laughs and says the kitchen is backed up. Our food arrived except one persons food. Our food was soggy and cold and looked like it had sat under heat lamp too long? The fries were completely cold and hard. The guacamole had turned black and the chips were in between soggy and that stale not soggy not crispy zone.... We got our food over and hour after being seated, @ 8:15 pm. Took another 15 minutes for the 6th person to receive their food. Then another 30 minutes to get the fries replaced & guacamole replaced with fresh, but the nachos were inedible. Steak was dried out, cheese cold n hard,chips soggy, etc. To the managers credit she took about half off the bill but it was absolutely horrid. None of the girls came over to chat with the guys. Came in with a group of 10. Our waitress was Demi she started off okay but then became very rude. She didn't bring refills when asked and made a mistake putting in our orders then when asked to fix them got very defensive. Eye rolling, snarky comments and all over rude. When we asked for a manager she came to the table Demi attempted to argue with her to the point the manager called her down and placed a new waitress with us. Well I have historically enjoyed this place. The food is good and the bartenders are really nice and attentive. Today (granted before 7 pm on a Wednesday) several people were over served and it got ugly. One guy would not leave and wanted to fight several people. He was asked to leave and kept coming back. They would escort him out and back he came. Appeared to be a regular because they all knew his name. Went on for nearly 30 minutes. Management wanted to handle it and they could not. It could have been over in 5 minutes if they just called the police. I felt bad for the girls especially the bartender that finally cut them off. It was uncomfortable for everyone else in the bar. Finally his friends (who also stumbled out) finally got him out. Total incompetence by management! He announced his name and pointed to several people and said I'm in the parking lot. I hope they all made it home safe and did not kill themselves or even worse somebody else. FYI the venison chili and wings were excellent. I asked when I left if it is common practice to announce my name when I leave (kinda reverse "Norm" from Cheers). Safely back at my hotel. Came in to grab a bite! Had the grandkids with me and we were all seated before we knew what to do! It was very busy and all the girls were very friendly! I ordered appetizers and our food! Our server Meagan G. She brought the kiddos drinks out in cups with lids! Which was awesome and we all finished our food! The wings were great and their Philly cheesesteak sandwich was amazing! Obviously you only go to these kind of places for the atmosphere. Girls that work there avoid your table if you aren't 18-24 years old OR if you are older and are dropping a lot of $ in that case they are trying their hardest to get the tip. Our waitress said about 3 words to us even when I tried to have friendly convo with her. Wanted to rush me out the door after we stopped ordering drinks and even forgot two rounds we ordered. We've been going here for years now. Mostly my husband and I but we also bring our adult kids and small grandkids. We just love it here! Everyone always makes us feel welcome! If we sit at the bar( which is most of the time) , Sam always has our beers in front of us before we sit down! All of the bartenders are amazing! Food is awesome, haven't had anything bad here! My husband and I were passing through on way to CO and tried this place because we like bar food and it was by our hotel. Did not know the "theme"-- just went for the food. We got the naked wings in the garlic and Parm/ And original and the Triple play with guacamole, Queso and salsa... It was all very very good. I asked for honey mustard when I ordered at 630pm. My food came out at 743 pm with no honey mustard, which I understand because it was busy. I asked for honey mustard when my waitress came back and she stated she would bring me some back! Well 900 pm comes along, I'm done with my tasty burger but saved my fries so I could dip them in some mouth watering honey mustard (the kind to make you take your clothes off and kiss the person next to ya). Well my honey mustard never showed up, my fries turned cold, and my tummy was full. At this point I told my waitress not to worry about the honey mustard due to the fact that my French fries were cold. Well after my plate was taken from my table, the honey mustard appeared. Twin peaks is racist- So a couple weeks ago I went in and was getting food and this colored woman came in to get her to go order the bartender was very rude to her at first saying "your order isn't up here and I can't find it." 20 minutes pass by and the kitchen brings her food out was very polite and patient. The woman over heard the bartender named Jenna I believe talking trash to the other customers so the colored woman asked why she was talking about her when everything was fine. Okay, same deal as virtually every other Twin Peaks I have visited. Skinny, big busted, tattoo, hair dyed waitresses dominated the staff. I sat at the bar and Morgan the bartender was friendly enough, although I saw more of her backside (not that it was a bad thing) than I would have preferred. Pot Roast had hair in it, asked the manager to take it and told her there was a hair in it and she told the server that I didn't like it and that's why she was bringing it back. 7 of us and the server was great but unfortunately we didn't get her name. The burger my husband got wasn't supposed to have any lettuce, onion or veggies of any kind as he cannot handle onions. They make him physically sick. His burger had onions. Server took it back and they just peeled them off and gave it back to him. Onion taste still on the burger so he couldn't eat it. Told manager about it and she took off $6 for his and then $5 off for the dry chicken and 5 tiny dry burnt shrimp my kid got. She was so hungry she don't complain and just ate it. Manager asked where it was and that since she ate it all there's no proof it was dry, but the shrimp tails were burnt. I'll never be back to this location this was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. Was our first time too. Manager never apologized once or could even look us in the eye as we're explaining the issues to her. Never got her name either. Shift change came and I thought maybe the next girls would be better. They were slightly better. I went here the other day and let me tell you, I wasn't very impressed. I came in and the theming was great but that was pretty much it. I have always had a weak spot for cabin type places so that's why I wanted to check it out. Of course everything is pretty over priced. I went for the quesadilla and it was mediocre. The price they charge for this food, wasn't at all what it should taste like. I also paired it with a beer. I did think it was cool how they have a digital sign to show the temperature of the beer constantly. They serve it at 29 degrees and it was cold and refreshing. My wife and I were staying in a hotel nearby and we needed some late food for take out. So I decided to get food from here. This was around 9:45 at night. First I called over to place the take out order and was informed they do not take those over the phone. You have to come in and order. Right away I should have looked elsewhere but I went ahead and left the wife behind to get food. This place was packed at 10:00. Of course, it was NCAA tourney weekend so I assume that led to most of it, but I have been to our local Twin Peaks and it's never this busy that late at night. I was lucky enough to find a spot at the bar. I grab a beer since I know it's going to take a little bit and then informed the bartender I was placing a take out order. That's all it took to get me on their ignore list. After getting my beer and menu I was pretty much ignored for at least 15 minutes or so even though there were four behind the counter and they were schmoozing the people sitting to the left and right of me. Finally I got one of them to take my order. I get why these places are popular, they are basically one step down from a strip club, but none of the people working there care about customer service, at least in terms of taking orders and getting food to people. It's all about schmoozing for tips. What should have at most taken 30 minutes took more than hour and it's just because they knew I was taking out they wouldn't be able to get a big tip. It's a great place to come on guys night out when you don't care if you're waiting long times for service. But for casual diners and especially to go orders, skip it. read more

I visited Twin Peaks on Tuesday evening around 21:30 with a male friend. The Tuesday night ladies crew left a little to be desired. My male friend's exact words were "they must have the skanky crew on tonight." He and I had been there in at Easter time and the women were attractive and the clothing provided by TP fit appropriately. This evening the clothing didn't look good on these women - or they didn't look good in the clothing - either way I have seen a much more attractive server crowd in there and they weren't working Tuesday. I ordered the large knotty brunette and my friend his standard Bud Light. The beers came in large frosted mugs and are priced well. Soooo....Twin Peaks....yeaaa. If you're going here you definitely have an idea of what to expect. Atmosphere is solid...sports bar with generally hot women walking around in skimpy clothing. Sounds great, right? Well.... The real issue I have is with the younger females hired here. 20 and above is generally fine, but the hostess looked like she was 14, and wearing the standard attire for this chain I felt weird (and dirty?) just looking at her to talk to her. If that was my daughter I'd have an issue with it. As for the rest, I can't really say anything. Food...meh. I hope you're not honestly going here for cuisine. I will say this...they have, by FAR, the best fried cheese (mozzarella cheese bites) I've ever had. Our server told us it's made in-house, and it must be close because it was really good. The rest of the food is ok. My wife had the chicken sandwhich, and she liked it. I had the venison chili beef burger, and it was ok. It wasn't ok a few hours later when I continued to have reminders of what I ate. Service: our server was fantastic. Her name was Allison, and she really did well. We had some questions about working in a place like that (we were curious), and she sat in the booth and talked with us. She was really nice and really didn't miss a beat on our table. She was top-notch and would've been successful at any restaurant, including those with different dress codes. She generally only works Saturdays, so if you happen in then, ask for her...you'll thank me. For the money, there are other places in town with similar menus but better food I'd rather go to. The whole place was loud. Though that would be expected of a sports bar, it was so much so that our server couldn't hear us giving an order. Thus, when my boyfriend ordered a Philly cheese steak, she asked if he wanted to put Pico de Gallo on it. (What? Why?) He also specifically requested no onions. Hubby and I were making a trip out to Independence this afternoon and decided to have a late lunch at Twin Peaks. And suddenly we were smack dab in the middle of Valentine's Day Lingerie Week. An interesting concept that almost guarantees a full house on a Sunday afternoon but I would expect the waitresses were probably really chilly. This is a sports bar theme restaurant with probably more flat screen TVs than nearly any other place in the area. It's loud, busy and with lots to see (even, I expect, when it's NOT Lingerie Week) and they advertise the "coldest beer", "made from scratch food" and "scenic views". The menu included burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, appetizers and a round handful of tasty sounding entrees. I ordered a Turkey Avocado Smash sandwich which is sliced turkey, Swiss, house made avocado smash, arugula, tomato, red onions, sun dried tomato and mayo on potato bread with fresh tasting, crispy sweet potato fries. It tasted wonderful. Hubby went with The Hangover Burger that looked equally good and comes with fried egg, bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onions and mayo. The bun was chock full of ingredients making it a little sloppy to eat but I didn't hear Hubby complaining. I was hoping a piece of bacon would fall out where I could reach it, but, unfortunately that didn't happen. I was forced (by shear curiosity) to order a beer to test just how cold it was. I chose the Twin Peaks Dirty Blonde. OH YEAH, it was cold...and very good. Next time I will have to try a Knotty Brunette. Our server was efficient, friendly and very thoughtful and all of the young servers were really good sports about those skimpy outfits they were wearing. I did tell Hubby I thought it would have been only fair for the male bartenders to have had to don equally revealing clothing, but he pointed out that they probably weren't in as good of shape as the young women. He was most likely right, but we will never know for sure. Twin Peaks was a quirky experience... kind of like the TV show that must have inspired it's name. I'd go back again for the food AND for the COLD beer. read more

Terrible service but I blame management. Our boys' baseball team came in and we were seated right away (large party of 29). It went downhill from there. They decided to have one server for our entire group. Took way too long to take the drink order, then forever to put in our food order. Four people never got their food. And I am not exaggerating, it took almost an hour for the waitress to figure out our tickets so we could even pay. Never again. read more
