Ok so perhaps my last review was a little unfair. We visited Winston Salem again, and wanted to find a sports bar so I actually suggested we go back to this place. Lol I ordered the blackened trout dinner, with broccoli and green beans and it was very delicious. Same Hooters like place but it was fine. The waitresses are very friendly to wives and female patrons, I guess so they don't make them feel too irritated by their husbands gawking over them. Lol My husband is very respectful to me though, so it's not an issue for me. I recommend if the boob show doesn't turn you off. lol Edit and update 9/19- One more thing; the staff does not wear masks, nor do most of the customers. Two of the visits we made it wasn't too busy. We went one last time since this visit and it was busier. I wasn't really feeling it. The server was pretty bad too. Served us wings with no plates, and when I told her I didn't want the garlic bread she kept trying to get me to keep it in case my family wanted it. It kinda annoyed me because they all ordered what they wanted. She wasn't attentive either. Hopefully we can find another good sports bar in Winston Salem since we're going to be spending a lot of time there. read more

I've heard about Twin Peaks for a while now and have been following their Instagram since. We don't have any locations in New Jersey so when I found out that there was a family wedding to go to on NC it was time to go! And when I mentioned the place to my brother, he knew about the place too and was like "Hell yeah!" When we arrived, it was exactly like the pictures we've seen, TV's everywhere, wood everything, and the ladies in their lumberjack-esque attire. We went after lunchtime on a weekday and it was a little dead. That was to be expected. Our waitress, Emily, was very nice and super chill. She didn't mind chatting with you while she was taking our order or just coming by the table. When our appetizers arrived, they were delicious. We got Nashville Hot Wings )because we don't get that up in NJ) and fried pickles. Both were delicious. Our entries arrived and they were... OK. I got the St. Louis BBQ ribs with Bacon Slaw, and Mac and Cheese, and my family got Chicken Fried Steak and Shrimp Tacos. The ribs were a little burn, but OK. The Chicken Fried Steak was so burnt we had to send it back and we didn't get it replaced or a substitute because it left a bad taste with my father. The Shrimp Tacos were just OK. I'd give it no stars if I could... First of all, Joanna was our server. She was more concerned with hanging out at the tables of the customers who would give her better tips because of her half naked body. This was our first and last time there. She was slow to serve. Told us she'd be back in 5 minutes and it must have been 15 before she returned. We finally ordered our food ane in the middle of my order, she tells me to wait and goes to talk to someone that we were told was the cook. He was sitting at a table with what looked like his girlfriend. I ordered the SMOKE D half chicken and told her I wanted it like the picture. Well, it didn't come like that. In face, it was barely brown and looked to have been rotisserie chicken. There was no smokey flavor at all. The menu said it came with sauted beans. The picture shows a medley. I ate it anyway, even though I can't eat tomatoes. I had to pic them out. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for her to bring me salt and pepper. She never did come back for my husband to ask for ketchup. He said his fries were way too salty. His burger was mediocre at best. The tacos my sister in law got were not very good. She didn't like the mix of the brisket and whatever else. She leaned over to the table many time next to us, flirting with the guys, leaving us to look at her butt. She had thong bathing suit on. When we got our drink, right before the food came, which was at least 20 minutes or so, my sangria came out yellow. There was one on the menu so I assumed it would be berry flavor. It wasn't. When I started to asker her about it, she interrupted me and said, "You asked for white wine, BABE. The berry is red. She is the one who asked me white or red wine when I ordered. I figured they mixed what every wine you wanted with the berry flavoring. She was very rude and snapped at me. She takes it and says she will replace it. Well, she doesn't. The food came out. She didn't even remember when she brought the food. I told her to cancel it. Sure enough, it ends up on the bill. She did take it off. The whole experience was bad. She was unattentive, rude and too busy flirting with the groups of men around us and the ones at the bar she hung out with instead of attending to us. I will never eat there again. We wasted $60 in there and I feel like we were ripped off. The chicken had no smoking flavor. How can you say it was smoked when it was most likely cooked in a rotisserie oven? It's really simple to me... This is a bar factory with tight controls on the bar. Consequently, the drinks are notably weak. The dirty martini i preferred tasted like olive juice with no noticeable trace of the Tito's I asked for. I chose the location because it was the closest casual bar to my hotel. It's probably awesome for beer drinkers but not I. Likely won't repeat but to each it's own. read more

I have been to several Twin Peaks that were very good. This is NOT one of them. Stopped in for a late lunch. No greeter. Sat at the bar. Had to ask for it to be cleaned. When we asked for menus we got one to share. The first bar tender had zero personality. No smiles. And walked off. The second one at least smiled. I ordered a pulled pork burger and wife pulled pork sandwich and when they came they looked marginal. Smashed buns on both. Wife ordered sweet potato fries and got regular fries and told the server. She said she would put in another order but they never came. Used the mens restroom and it was worse than lunch. Smelled terrible and the entire floor was wet. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Too bad we can't give zero or negative stars. That would be a more apropos rating. read more

Occasionally on a day off I will go here and write and have a beer. The beer is really cold: that's their thing and it's a real deal. It's also fairly cheap. The one thing I have found to be consistently good is the venison chili, it's definitely worth having. I had the boneless wings, lemon garlic I think, and they were ok. For what it is they do a fair job. Good cold beer and decent food. It's also not usually packed which is nice. read more

We had the best experience at TP. I got the Cuban with sweet potato fries and the Cuban was one of the best I have ever had (and I lived in south Florida for 30+ years). My wife had the brisket chili and half a Cuban. The chili WS great! Drinks were well made and the bartender Autumn was awesome. Great recommendations, very pleasant and excellent cocktails. Walked in at 5:30 with a lot of empty tables was told we would have to wait 10 minutes before we could get a table. The hostess was short like we were bothering her and there was no benches at the door to sit. When I told the hostess we were leaving she smiled and punched something in the computer. I guess I was the only one who did not realize what Twin Peaks meant before entering the establishment. I had brought my mom to the area for a colonoscopy and she was starving after. The waitress was very sweet but the food was "meh" at best. I ordered the fish tacos and was expecting it to be as described. Very slow service and cold french fries made for a disappointing experience at Twin Peaks in Winston Salem NC. After a long day of traveling, my husband and I arrived at Twin Peaks about 7:45 pm and was seated promptly. But then it was about 5 minutes before our server acknowledged us and took our drink orders. Then it was at least another 5 minutes before our drinks were served. My husband's grilled chicken sandwich was nice and hot but his fries were cold as if they had been prepared first awaiting the sandwich to finish cooking. The place was not crowded by any means and we saw servers talking with each other while we were waiting to give our drink orders and have them served to us. Overall our first time at a Twin Peaks Restaurant was a poor experience. read more

We came here for a group event/birthday dinner. Let me just say Oshiana was absolutely the best server ever! She made the evening with her sparkling personality and great attention to our food and drinks needs. The whole group had a great time!! Most of us got the wings, cheese bites, fries and drinks...lots of drinks. Food and drink are on par for what is expected at chain restaurant like this. There was another waitress assigned to us, but they all disappeared and Oshiana did the work so she deserves a good job award for putting up with us!! At 1230am the doors were locked and a waiter came to the door and said, oh yea we closed. Went at 3:50 today (Saturday, 27Apr). No one ever greeted us. We walked around the entire bar and none of the waiters said anything. We finally sat ourselves at a table by the door and only got stares. (Yes, were an interracial and two females). So we got up and left because we felt so unwelcomed. Still no one said anything. As we got to the door one of the workers were coming in for her shift and then all the sudden..... the bartenders learned how to speak! Unfortunately they were not speaking to us, she was yelling her co-workers name to say hey. RUDE staff. If you're not a man don't bother. We've been there a month ago and the young black girl was very nice, we tipped well over 20%. Unfortunately she wasn't there today. We only come to this type of establishment for the impossible burger (it's 1 out of 3 restaurants in WS that sells it).
