After re locating from Long Island to Syracuse , it's been hard finding good pizza that compares- until Twin Trees came into the mix. We just moved to the area (im originally from LI) and wanted some pizza, beer and wings. Not knowing where to go we checked out yelp and am super glad we did. The inside is dated but the staff was super friendly. We ordered one of the many meal "deals" they offer. We got a large onion and pepper pizza, two dozen wings (bbq and hot) a pitcher of beer (you can do soda too) and a medium (but feed 4 hungry adults) anti pasta salad. All for 36.99! Pizza was good, doughy, but most pizza up here is made like that. Sauce was sweeter than I normally like but was fresh tasting. We like our wings crispy and they were perfect! The anti pasta was delicious and feed all four of us with some to spare. The pizza slices are cut into slim rectangles which i have never seen before but it still tasted good. They offer excellent deals everyday of the week and mon-thurs special. All and all we will be back! read more

The best locations are the North Syracuse and Solvay ones. Their pizza rocks! The pizza pies come in long, thin, rectangular slices. Salad bar is very clean and packed with fresh ingredients. Wings are good, especially the garlic ones. Not a fancy place, a clean, family restaurant with good service and no frills. Whole family loves this place. read more

To me, this place really embodies what syracuse is like as a whole. It's a family style place with italian food. I've only been to the north syracuse location, but we always leave there full to beyond capacity and ready to give birth. They have a great salad bar and food is good, but probably nothing you can't make yourself. Dishes are also geared towards gaining weight, expect a lot of oil and butter. I really wish they'd have a whole wheat pasta option. But overall, worth the visit when you are starving. Prices are also good for the quantity of food. read more

On a road trip from Canada to Philly we turned to YELP for dinner suggestions. With 2 kids our options are limited, so a family restaurant that specialized in pizza was ideal. The food was fantastic. We got the pizza/wings special and both were delicious. The decor is your classic family owned and operated Italian restaurant: wood paneling, non sensical decor, random white Christmas lights, etc. (I'm Italian so I am allowed to say that). Our server, Holly, was outstanding- SO NICE to our kids (and our 3 yo could not have been more badly behaved.... She brought over a tub of lollipops at the end of dinner, so sweet). Twin Trees just put a fork in my heart! At 4:00 pm I called up and ordered 1 large sausage and mushroom pizza, 1 Medium Antipasto with crumbly bleu cheese dressing. To take the arctic chill off the freezing Syracuse weather I ordered French Onion soup. Before you judge be advised I asked the waiter if they can ship it without too much hassle, after all it is baked in an oven safe soup-crock. The waiter said "No Problem". I sent my husband to pick it up and what I wound up with has me begging for a one way ticket back to 1999! A tin foil container filled with bread topped with cheese and three scallion slices is what I got in lieu of soup? I get the croutons absorb the broth but there was no broth! My best description is French Onion Bread Pudding! If that was the worst of it, all woud be well the pizza crust was 1/2" thicker and doughy beyond belief. Gone was my favorite thin crispy crust. To add insult to injury NO BLEU CHEESE for the antipasto. I don't know what happened to this restaurant our families raised us on but I want my old Twin Trees back. read more

We came here after waiting for over an hour at Twin Trees Too. I'm so glad we did. The pizza is awesome (better than Too's) and rest of the food was great, also. And the staff was wonderful. We called to ask if there was a wait and the hostess had us all set up once we arrived. And our server was so sweet that my kids wanted to hug her when we were leaving. It's such a nice change to have pleasant, sincere service. To be fair, the atmosphere could really use some updating, but maybe that's part of the charm. We went to Twin Trees on Saturday evening with our son. It was the best pizza. We have lived on the west side for quite awhile and this was my first visit to Twin Trees. I will definitely return. Twin Trees 2, Milton ave is horrible, pizza sauce has no taste, the topping all come from a jar. I could tell the dough was pre made and sat in a cooler for some time. the service was bad, all the food came a different times, when the last person at my table finally got their food most everyone had already eaten. The chicken i had was overcooked and tasteless. No wonder they poisoned 80+ people, and had to close for a cleaning. I have had better pizza from a gas station, yuck. I will never do business with this restaurant again. I tried to place a take out order on Saturday and who ever was on the phone was the rudest human being i have ever spoken to. The conversation finally led to a point where I was forced to tell this person they really needed to drop their attitude, in which he responded with " Oh, Fuck you." First time we had eaten there in a while and will be the last. We were seated alone in the back dining room, received our drinks and appetizer quite quickly. It took another 35 minutes for our food to come and when it did it was overcooked, flavorless and cool. Two other parties seated before us received their dinners at least 20 minutes before we finally were served ours. If we had wanted such lousy service, we would have gone to Dinosaur Barbeque. I tend to order here alot. I think they have some of the best wings around when they do them right and unfortunatly i find that isnt always consistant. The cook manager Chris seems to be a really decent person. On the other hand one of the cooks in the back that also seems to answer the phone when placeing an order needs better people skills. He is very rude and tends to think if a person calls and complains about an order that its wrong. You would think its his money im spending. I will admit i will call and complain if somethings not right and honestly its usually because something was delivered wrong. But on a good note they have always made things right. I understand mistakes are made and they tend to get very busy and may overlook something. I do think tho that the guy that has no people skills, i geuss hes the pizza maker needs to stay in the back and away from the public. The pizza is great but the service is the worst I've ever had in my whole entire life. I never in my life have had a waitress curse at my whole table, stomp away, and repeatedly say "oh my god I NEED to just go home today". There was 12 of us, we called ahead and they couldn't fit us in to get a table, so we were squished into two back to back booths (not ideal, the restaurant is pretty small), eventually as a party left we asked if we could move to the table , and they allowed us to. We were there for almost 3 hours because the waitress would come to us only every 30-35 minutes. She spilled a beer all over my grandma and was all around an awful server. As a customer you should NOT feel like an inconvenience to ask for a refill on your soda... Every time we would ask for a drink, or something that she forgot she would basically throw a fit. It was the most uncomfortable dining experience I have ever had. I also feel bad for her co-workers as she was cursing at them too.
