I got the cat eye gel manicure and my sister got the cat eye gel manicure with design. In total, it was about $65 for mine and my sisters was about $75. In total we paid about $140 before tip, which I think is a great deal. They did such an amazing job on our nails!! At other nail salons, they are really rough when they prep the nail for the manicure. I usually bleed when nail techs clear my cuticles. But not at Lumi!! They expertly prepped my nail and made them look so nice with no blood or pain involved. I selected Han Han for my manicure and Maple did my sisters design manicure. Both nail techs were so kind, patient, and caring when doing our nails. Han Han helped me pick out my color too!! 10/10 great service and I am making this my new nail salon! I went in this past Friday, walked in at 6:40 pm, told the 2 girls at the counter that I wanted a pedicure and gel ex removal. The hostess said ok, so I proceeded to pick out a color. I sat and waited about 10 min, no one was saying anything, not even the guy who normally does my gelx, or the older lady who's usually in charge. Everyone was giving me side eye looks and rushing out the back door. I got the feeling of "she'll figure it out we're closing." It was a bit humiliating. Amy came and said she'd do my pedicure once she got free. I appreciated her so much for taking me on. When I asked her if anyone would be able to do my nails, she wasn't sure. I disclosed that I was having a surgical procedure the next morning and would appreciate if someone could take them off (per drs request). She took immediate action and went to the 2 young girls at the front desk. When she told them that it was an urgent request bc of my procedure, one of the girls replied with, "Well she should have came sooner." That was kinda hurtful bc little did she know that my procedure was emergency stat. And regardless of my procedure, if they weren't going to have time for me, they should have told me when I checked in, instead of having me wait, and I could have gone down the street to one of the other nail salons. Amy turned to another nail tech who was helping another client. Asked if she could accommodate, and yes she asked Vilan if he would be able to take them off and he did. I appreciated him for it. After my services were done, I left within the hour and would have taken 35 min overall had I been seen right away. I've been a loyal customer to Nailtique since they opened but that girls comment and their lack of communication upon check in was disappointing.
