One detail I love is how their TVs actually face the chairs--it makes the experience more enjoyable and relaxing. My nails have always turned out flawless, and I've never had any issues with their work. Last time JC was the one who helped me out and it was very easy to work with her. I visited Blue Diamond for the first time on 05/24/2022 around 12:15 for a basic manicure and a deluxe pedicure. The current prices as of May 2022 for these services were $66.00 total plus gratuity. You can get a basic pedicure for a lower combo price. The total service took about 50 minutes with two people working on me. I found the service to be very pleasurable and relaxing and I felt they did a good job. The basic manicure took about 25 minutes and the deluxe pedicure took almost the entire 50 minutes. Everything was completed per the description and I was charged the correct price per the board/brochure. Tips are accepted via credit card here, although they would prefer cash. Overall, a good experience. I am guessing they may have to replace the chairs in the next couple of years; however, other than that --- truly a five star service. I love this place. It's my go to. I always come here to get my mani and pedi done during my lunch break and the girls never fail me. They are ready for me when I get there and get me out in 45-50 minutes. Which is enough time to get back to work. I've never had issue with my gel chipping off. I usually pay $65 for gel mani and reg pedi but if I want to treat myself with upgrade my pedicure to the Diamond spa which includes a massage , callus remover , scrub , and paraffin which comes out to $92 , Including the gel mani. Especially when I'm getting either a MANi or Pedi. Friend was in town and wanted to treat him before send off to a pedi because we had been in a few hikes in the past week. Called Blue Diamond up and made an appointment for 630p. They close at 7p, which was really generous of them. NOTE: I am someone that respects peoples time. And the fact they accepted two pedi's, was very nice. Did not catch the two names of our nail technicians, but they were very friendly, spoke kindly and above all fast and efficient. We asked for callous removers for both of us. And boy did our feet look pretty and human acceptable lol The service was $37/pp and we tipped $10 because of the three factors mentioned above. This was an average manicure and pedicure experience. The ladies were nice but my manicure didn't turn out great. Even after multiple times of asking for it to be removed there is still some polish on my skin. Most of the workers were wearing masks but one lady walked from their back room out the front without a mask on. Another lady kept coughing but luckily she was wearing a mask. One customer had her mask around her chin for quite a bit of her treatment but luckily they have plastic barriers between the chairs so that is nice. Just stopped in for a manicure. It felt a tad rushed, but I understand why. A fleet of women arrived and my nail tech was needed for a pedicure. I don't think that was very fair to me when I'm a customer paying $20 for a manicure himself, and tipped $5 when I didn't want to, because that's my nature. Manicures are therapeutic, and it went from relaxing and enjoyable, to her zooming through steps. She spent 25% of the time massaging my left arm, that she spent on my right arm (this was when the women arrived). My nails are overly scratchy on some fingers. I've never had white scratch lines on my nails after a manicure, considering they get buffed out mostly. I wish I got to enjoy the process a little more, but I get it. My review is honest though :( Update: I noticed she spent far less time on my left cuticles, and after the ointments on my hand and nails has dried, it shows. My nails aren't filed to a smooth edge either. You can see cut angles. That's not cool for $25. She was sweet, and courteous, but this isn't acceptable. I was a customer for years here and I had a horrible experience this past week. I came in this past Tuesday and had a miscommunication about getting gel acrylic nail polish while sitting in the pedicure chair. Instead of addressing me professionally, the owner decides to yell across the salon and tell me that she did not have time to do gel acrylic nails. It was honestly an embarrassing experience because the salon was crowded with a ton of people. I felt so uncomfortable leaving and the owner didn't even apologize. I will never go here again! My nails are not only yellow but the white cracked on 3 of my toes. I have a lot of cuticles I can feel as well. To start: I almost never get my nails done, but I was in the area and wanted to get them done before going on vacation for my birthday. The nail job was decent enough; besides the few painful moments (which I figured were normal due to cuticle maintenance), I had a generally pleasant experience and the gel manicure came out fine. However. Almost immediately after returning home, several of my fingertips started throbbing to the point that I was struggling to pack my bags (!) and I eventually gave up. I didn't see any blood, so I tried to ignore it; the next morning, however, the pain and swelling was exponentially worse and my nails had started to discharge pus -- clear signs of a nasty infection. I flew out the next day (a painful and egregiously long 36 hours later), but the infection continued getting worse for three days despite Neosporin and Band-Aids. Since I didn't live in the area around Blue Diamond, I was not able to revisit the salon until I got back from my trip (2 weeks after the initial visit). I was told the manager was not there, and so I left my phone number. She called and told me to come in, and that she could only refund me if I returned-- reluctantly, I went back simply to be told that I would only receive a gift certificate and not an actual refund. Of course, I don't want to go back and let them touch my hands again! I am very disappointed that after this terrible experience that should have been pleasant, I am not getting my money back (not to mention my overly generous tip!). I wanted my nails done because I was too lazy to do my own lol. And found this place because it was right across my boyfriends barber shop. $19 for a pedicure. Not bad. When I first walked, I was welcomed by the hair stylist and the pedicurist. I told them I was here for a pedicure & they walk over & prepare the water as I picked a color. As I sat down, the pedicurist immediately gave me bottled water. Great service! And the massage chair was ready for me. The water was a bit hot for me but that's just because my feet are sensitive. The pictures below show was happened. She massaged my feet for a while & she actually took her gloves off to apply the lotion & massage which I thought was great. She was very precise with she applied the nail polish (3 coats). What stood out was that the pedicurist focuses on you - they're not chatting with each other in Vietnamese. I've been to some where they chat with each other, laugh & just makes the customer feel uneasy. Sometimes they might even be talking about you, but luckily, not this place. The only thing I guess you could say "lost a star" the pedicurist was cleaning her supplies while I was still sitting. I understand that it gets busy and she doesn't want to forget when she moves on to her next customer, but still a little awkward. Also, when I noticed that one of my nail was crooked, I informed the pedicurist and for some reason everyone working was involved & one of them even said "your nail just grows like that" uh no it doesn't. Your regular, par for the course salon. The ladies were quite friendly, but I think an itemized list of the charges when you're paying would be a logical thing to include in your process. My total appeared to be an arbitrary number, I have no idea what they were charging me for, as my full amount due was considerably more than I expected. I do not necessarily have reason to believe I was overcharged, but it would be useful to know what I am paying for. My nails came out very nice, and like I mentioned, the staff was quite pleasant. I did notice, several new deep cuts on my cuticles, which is a bummer. Ambiance: the inside is standard, middle to lower end nail salon- pleather chairs taped together, cracked fabric upholstery on the old pedicure massagers, pastoral paintings straight from an inn during the 1980s. Staff: quite friendly, pleasant, eager to color match and make sure you leave with pretty nails. Service Rendered: I left with obvious cuts on my cuticles, and reading through other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. The polish does look lovely though. read more

The first thing I like about this place is its near a donut and cofee shop so I like coming here in the mornings after I drop my son off at preschool nearby . It's not crowded at all and I can enjoy a cup of cofee and cinnamon roll while I get my toesies prettified :) 2nd thing I like is Lynn. I needed my eyebrows threaded and at first I was stunned that it was $15 when I could go other places for threading for way less. But I payed the $15 and let me tell you it was totally worth it! Lynn takes her time with you. She is gentle and a perfectionist. I definitely would not have gotten the same time spent on me paying $6-$8 somewhere else. I think the $15 was worth it. No one has ever taken that much time w me not even at the mall at that threading place near Nordstroms. I loved my eyebrows and I appreciated her explanation of the cost due to high rents in this particular area. That makes sense. So I would say you pay for what you get in this case. I highly recommend Lynn for threading. Now on to the pedicure . This was a pleasant surprise my girl was very gentle thank goodness because my toes are sensitive . I also have those pesky ingrown toe nail types and it can be torture when getting them cut. But she was gentle and skilled! So the $19 was worth it. Her name was Kimmy. She's good! She also let me soak extra to get them softer. Which was really necessary . They have plenty of colors at this nail salon so I'm satisfied with the selection and the overall treatment I received today. The music is nice and just the right volume . I will definitely be back. I took them off 6 weeks ago because the person I was going to started to deteriorate in his workmanship. This place is very close to home and the parking is easy. Upon entering the shop, it is tastefully done. Tina greeted me with a smile and I got a pedicure while I waisted for my appointment. Tracy did my pedicure and was meticulous in her work.
