Very innovative flavors. The pork tacos al pastor featured a tart relish that complimented the meat nicely. The red trout entree was crusted with almond which gave the fish just the right amount of nuttiness. Finally, the mac and cheese side had a very original and herbal flavor. My Fiance and I are hoping to be able to have our wedding reception here. We were scouting out places and stumbled upon this gem. We had the happy hour on the patio and fell in love. The salmon wraps are amazing! The service was precise. We came back a few nights later with my parents to have dinner. Everybody is so kind to us. We had another outstanding waitress, a seat upstairs by the window and watched the sunset over the mountains. The food was fantastic. The scallops and buffalo dishes were sensational. I loved the corn risotto. It is pretty cool that the menu rotates and aims to use local, seasonal foods. The menu is very creative. My Father is a certified sommelier and he was VERY impressed with the wine menu and the overly fair prices for the wine. Grayson seems very knowledgable when it comes to the wine. I sure hope to have our wedding dinner at this site next year and I look forward to giving another review! We got a great vibe at this place! read more

We made reservations to eat here and were really looking forward to it. I think our anticipation got the best of us... While the atmosphere is trendy and cool and the service was good, our food was not as good as I had expected. My husband had a lamb shank that had a nice flavor, but nothing out of this world. We also had the pulled pork taco appetizers, which had good meat, but I had expected homemade tortillas or something a little better than what was served. Also tried the mac-n-cheese and the brussel sprouts. Both were above average, but I could probably duplicate them in my own kitchen. My husband and two kiddos decided to give Twist a try. We started with the iceberg lettuce salad, it was flavorful but I never tasted the pears it supposedly had in it. My kids tried the Caeser and they could not eat it, having said this they love Caeser salad and have eaten it since they were 3 years old. I tried it & it was very unusual I could have eaten it, but was not a fan either. Next I ordered the short ribs, they were tasty. My husbands salmon was charred, I would have sent it back. I can't believe they sent it out like that! My daughters chicken was overcooked and dry but edible. My sons salmon off the kids menu was better than my husbands. Creme brûlée was awesome! Chocolate cake was good, as was gelato. Service was slow, but in his defense he had a lot of tables. read more

I was only dropping in for a quick drink, not only was Michael accommodating in getting it for me, he then continued to give me a ton of information about back country skiing. Even went so far as to suggest his favorite shop - Mountain Outfitters - as a place to get more information. What started off as a quick drink turned into an educational seminar. Ventured over to Twist while staying in Keystone. Shared the potatoes dish as an appetizer. One had the Trout, while two of us had the Short Ribs. Both dishes were prepared in subtly unique ways, as compared to other restaurants and, more importantly, were delicious! Service was exceptional, which isn't always the norm in resort towns. This was my 3rd time here. Food is great and restaurant is clean and modern. First two visits were soon after the restaurant openend. What I learned on this most recent visit is Twist needs to figure out how to handle itself when busy. Hostess was not around as people were lined up out the door - waiters completely ignored the line. Almond crusted ruby red trout was outstanding. Pardon the beer review for a restaurant but the Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale by Boulevard Brewery they have is a better Belgian style farmhouse ale than most Belgian examples available in the US. Everything about Twist is awesome! The munchies they put on the table when you sit down are very good. They have a nice selection of wines, w/o having to read an entire dictionary to find what you'd like. Plenty of options for by-the-glass too. The menu has enough choices where everyone should be able to find something to their liking. I ordered Dry Aged Buffalo Bolognese and it was quite excellent. I had the beet and goat cheese ravioli which was so delicious you couldn't go wrong!!! The zucchini salad with caesar dressing was unbelievable and the desert.... Twist is one of the best dining experiences in Breck. I have been coming to Breckenridge for the last 28 years and in the last couple years it has instantly become a favorite. There food is all organic and local! There are options and accommodations for all diets. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Neil does a beyond wonderful job managing the restaurant. He is always there, always greeting everyone! They were completely booked all Saturday night, he was able to squeeze 3 of us in on a Saturday night at the drop of a hat. Delicious food! Good service, they sat us quickly, didn't rush us out, and gave us the check separated for 3 couples. I had the Blood Orange Drop, Pork Chops which I changed the side to their mashed potatoes, with a nice Pinot Noir. Service was very SLOW, 2 hours from start to finish for a family dinner is just too long.
