Our management team had a wonderful dinner at Ember. It is a great place for a small private dinner in their upper private room. Our server Collin was terrific, very attentive and patient with our group. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for our team. Matt was a pleasure to work with and very flexible for our accommodations.

Delicious meal with great service! We were given a gluten free menu and the server was very knowledgeable for GF options. The restaurant gave me vibes from the movie Elemental! We were a bachelorette party and the server treated us very well. He was very attentive and also provided local recommendations. Some of the things we ordered: hamachi & prawns for apps, lamb chops, scallops, some yummy ice cream for dessert.

This is a special place. Not just because it's in the magical mountains of Colorado, but because the ambiance, the service, the food wove together to make a very special dinner for a group of our friends. And then there's the artistic plating of every single dish. Truly was one of those where we had to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the food being presented. Our waiter elegantly explained each of our dishes and what was before us... and then we got to eat!!! Every bit as good as the presentation! I'll treasure this meal as one of the very best ever. And plan on going back when we're in the mountains!

My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at Ember last night thanks in great part to Chase who made the reservation for us & hooked us up with an amazing table. Our server Tracy was the best. We really appreciated her detailed explanations of each dish we ordered. The chef has crafted some really unique dishes which are perfect for sharing. We loved everything about the place and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Breck.

Chef Scotty has travelled the world & his menu reflects the extraordinary choices from his travels. The menu offers lobster, risotto, cod, duck, scollops, and more but presented like you have never seen before. He belongs on a tv chef competition show. So many flavors on every plate! Beautiful presentation! You may need a dictionary to understand all the menu items but you can trust that the meal will be outstanding! Picture is of strawberry shortcake- deconstructed & Lucious.

Disgusting. One of the worst meals of my life. Ember describes itself with words and phrases like "creative" and "poetry in food". I think they forgot that if the super creative ingredient mash up doesn't actually taste good then you shouldn't serve it. The place has a nice atmosphere. A converted house. A little dark. Service was nice enough, also. The service was somewhat slow, but there was a really large party, and at least our waitress kept us posted on the kitchen. Honestly, the food was so bad that any ding on slow service could not have brought this down any further. They are only doing a three course prix fixe menu. Appetizer, entree, and dessert. $75. I should have known that something was up when the waitress brought out some sort of flatbread/cracker. I've had this sort of thing before, but this one tasted bitter, and we discovered that Ember seemed to be using old frying oil for everything, as this theme continued with other dishes. The cracker also apparently had a sheen of oil to match the taste. It was served with some sort of dip, that my kids said tasted like lemon yoplait yogurt (it did). Like most dishes that day, if just didn't work, and I don't know why someone at Ember didn't realize that. On to appetizers. I had the Mac and cheese piquillo pepper. Utterly disgusting. I tried to eat some, and looked over at my daughter. She was not enjoying her dish either, and said "like you're eating to be polite". That's exactly what it felt like. There was a sort of salad with olives with it. Nothing good. Should have gotten the scallops, which my wife had, and which may have been the only good dish of the night. Two of my kids had the lamb tacos. The shells were more evidence of old and bitter oil, as they had the same flavor as the chips. My main was the wagyu New York strip. I'm going to list everything with it: tamari-fig potato hash . bok choy . edamame hummus . miso mushroom brown butter sauce. None of it remotely enhanced the below average steak, which had a cap of fat I've never encountered with Kobe or wagyu beef. In fact, all components were practically inedible. Looking around, no one else had it any better. The presentation was completely off putting, especially of the Brie and crepe lasagna, which looked it was the scene of a violent crime. Did I mention slow service? We had been there two hours by now, with plate after plate of disgusting food. Very big party, but they should know how to manage this. Plus I just wanted out, so we took dessert to go. I got the espresso cinnamon roll. Sounds good, right? Opened it up back home, and it looked like the inside of a diaper. One bite and we threw away the desserts. How can a place get away with something so terrible?? Who is posting positive reviews for this place?? Do not go here. Save your time, your wallet, and most of all save your palate.

The place inside is small, but its still spacious enough that you're not crammed against the other tables. From the moment you're walking up to the place it calls your attention cause its located in the historic Gold Pan Saloon. And the decor inside follows that rustic saloon winery vibes with barrel decors and a crazy ceiling design. They have a great bar area for tastings or a glass of wine as well. I opted for the wine flight, which was great. It included 3 different types of red wines and they were each delicious. My fav was the cabernet franc. It was the best of the 3 for me. For food we went with the Red Rocker charcuterie board and it was great. They pick the 2 cheeses and 2 proteins, which are a rotating selection, along with pickled veggies and a spread with homemade wine tortilla chips. What I love about it is that you can tell the board is freshly made when it's ordered. I was also able to try a piece of the bruschetta with Poached Figs, Whipped Goat Cheese, Honey & Pine Nuts and it was to die for. If goat cheese is your thing, do not skip out on this one. The whipped cheese is crazy, Amazing texture and flavor. We stopped by a couple of days later for a glass of wine and it was packed but they were nice enough to let us stand on the side enjoying a glass till a seat opened up at the bar. I got a glass of their "house red" which is divine. Great body and perfectly balanced. And did I mention it's only $10?!? Totally worth it. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

We sat at the bar because we heard great things about the happy hour from the locals. 2 Food: We researched before coming to Breckenridge what place had the best burger and Aurum's French Onion Burger came up at the top of the list. Employees: The Hostess was friendly and got us seated right away. The Bartenders (Mike and George) made our evening a blast. Mike Ruda has a signature drink on the menu that he created called the Duck Fat Cadillac and it is a home run cocktail (10 out 10)!! George Johnson is a great conversationalist and is engaged with the customers. We showed him a twist to our favorite drink back home in San Antonio, the Carajillo and he made it perfectly! Now I recommend going early for happy hour or making reservations. We were heading out around 5:30pm and there was no seating available. For happy hour I had a glass of Rosé and lemon parmesan fries. The food, people, and ambiance were so amazing, we made dinner reservations for the whole fam. Luckily there was availability. That night we were sat promptly when we arrived and the table was set up with menus and water waiting for us. For appetizer, we started off with the Parker House rolls with the house honey butter and OMG those rolls are so fluffy and delicious. Highly suggest getting the rolls if you like bread. The butter complimented the bread beautifully. I started off the night with the blackberry smash with tequila and it was delicious. Just the right combo of sweetness. For entree we went with their Pasta Rotante which for the night was a crazy flavor combo of tomato, pumpkin seeds, crunchy carrot strings, sage and chicken sausage. I'm probably missing other ingredients, but it was a dance of flavors on the tongue. Our waiter recommended pairing this with a glass of Pinot Noir and it was the perfect compliment.

At this point I'm over it and prefer my experience at raticato. Next strike, you ask us to order everything and you'll course it out but instead you interrupt us mid chew and ask to clear the table for our meals, absolutely unacceptable. How do you rush your customers. I get it's 8pm but you're open until 9:30 and if you're in a rush go home and send a server that wants to be there. Service, service, service. It was absolutely non existent and at a restaurant that isn't McDonalds prices, do better. You never came back to our table and asked if the food came out ok or if we needed more drinks. As a matter of fact, my spouse walked to the bar and ordered their own drink, unacceptable. Absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't enjoy our meal because the service was so poor and I'd absolutely not return. We had the Halibut, which was tasty but could do without the ro and the chicken dish, which was prepared well. The steak tartare was just ok and the bread and hummus was a good addition. Nah, wouldn't recommend. Please have a conversation with Olivia Z., if she's having a day she needs to exit and not work that day in hospitality. P.s. she also rushed another table that wanted to enjoy the chicken dish but she was too focused on leaving that she told them they should get dessert instead.
