Tried this place after a hot day. I was so thirsty and wanted something healthy and light and this place fit the bill. I would have given it 5 stars except the 2 main things for me when I go to a restaurant were not quite up to par. I really liked the ambiance of the place..it was bright and I liked the outdoor area with the waterfall..super cute. It was so hot outside and the infused waters were free and tasted so good. Main thing that disappointed me was price. I ordered the triple berry salad. And where it was light and healthy..it wasn't $12 good. I mean the size wasn't worth $12..the taste wasn't worth $12..and they charged extra to add chicken. 2nd thing was time...why did a salad that seemed like it was made from a bagged blend with a couple berries thrown on it take over 40 min? This place is such a bummer. I'm gluten free and finding a place on our very long drive that actually had GF options was a priority. My partner and I both got about 3 bites into our dishes (I had a rice/quinoa bowl and he had pasta) before we both thought something was off. When we brought our food back up to the counter and stated that something was off with the food (there was so, so much lime in both of our dishes - I LOVE citrus and this was beyond palatable)- we literally just got a very long stare and a "too bad". I also got VERY sick from our food, which makes me think my bowl was somehow actually not GF. Do NOT eat here if you're celiac and looking for something safe to eat. read more

Great food with a twist of health! This place is a bit hard to find as it's located inside a office plaza. The menu is diverse with a lot of options to customize. It's great for those that are looking to eat a health conscious meal without sacrificing taste. I got the twisted noodles which is pesto sauce in penne noodles and sun dried tomatoes and artichoke. I wish i could rate in halves because i woukd give it a 3.5. I stopped in for lunch today looking for a healthy lunch alternative for pasta. I saw they had veggie noodles and was excited to try them and asked the (owner?) Older *compared to the other people working.. not that she's old* lady how they were having never had them before. She just said they were spiraled and gave no further information and was not the friendliest in the way she spoke and presented herself. I ordered the veggie noodles with the creamy pesto and tofu. The pesto and tofu were good but the veggie noodles were cut thick and more raw than how I was expecting for noodles. I asked the other girl working there if I could switch pasta and she was really understanding and friendly about it. My second pasta came out delicious however the tofu was fairly salty but still yummy. A good thing about this place though is their huge portions. It's 8- 10 dollars an entree which is common around the downtown area and you can honestly split it with someone making it fairly inexpensive especially for the quality of food. Especially if you're vegan. After lunch I went to their cute little dessert case. I love it because they mention if they are vegan or gluten free for those wondering! I tried a Nutella peanut butter cup. It was good but very rich since the dessert cups are thick but they are perfect for little desserts. I also loved the free fruit water options they have. One was cucumber mint and another had watermelon and strawberries. Very yummy way to refill my water bottle on a hot sumnet day in the desert of st. George. I'm sad that I didn't have the best experience here because I have had good ones in the past. It was mostly because of the woman's tone and she definitely could have been friendlier and more descriptive when I asked questions about the food. I wanted to try their meal prep which is prepared by the same chef I was told. I chose 6 lunch 6 dinner for 12 total. About 7 of 12 meals were chicken. You can't pick what you want as the owner decides what is in the meal prep. Too bad as some of the items in the Cafe look like they might be good. You order at the counter and they bring it out when its ready, which is usually under 5 minutes from the time you order unless they are really busy. Good spot to stop on the way to Salt Lake City. We ordered a chicken wrap (opted for chicken-less) and a veggie flatbread. The chicken-less wrap was in a spinach wrap with veggies and the veggie flatbread for some reason had chicken. Mistakes happen, and one of the employees offered us a card for a free entree next time around. We will return on our next trip to Salt Lake City and try the veggie burger and something else. We stumbled upon this place on our last night in St. George. After eating mediocre food all week this place was a welcome sight! The food is delicious and nutritious. I had the vegetable noodles with pesto and it was delicious. My wife had the special which was a gluten free breaded chicken over potato salad and I was amazed. Her chicken breast was moist and crunchy and was accompanied by a avocado spread. My children had the gf kids pasta with meat sauce and they were embarrassingly licking their plates. The meal was so light and refreshing and yet completely satisfying. We also tried a few of the desserts and they were out of this world. Our only regret was not finding this place sooner on our trip. Do not eat here if you have Celiacs disease. Yes, they say they have gluten-free options, but they are not careful about it. I told the lady at the counter that my daughter had an extremely rare case and has had to have 2 emergency surgeries because her stomach swelled completely shut from allergies, which nearly killed her. We ordered food to go, since they were getting close to closing. We paid extra for the gluten-free on all of our meals. We get home, we all start eating and my daughter starts having a reaction. I checked her food and they had given her full -on wheat bread. I called to be sure that I was not mistaking and see if it was just some specialty gluten-free bread or something. Nope. They posioned my daughter. She was so sick and has missed school for two whole days so far. Manager was nice and called me and was very apologetic. They refunded the meal, all except for the $7 tip we left. She said she would give us 2 $20 gift cards in case we wanted to try them again, which we were thinking about, since there are not many places with good gluten-free options. But, when my husband went to pick up the cards, they only gave him one $10 one. I feel. That this place is not trustworthy and is not safe for anyone with Celiacs disease or true allergies. Too bad too, cause the food actually tasted good and I was hoping it would be our new go-to regular place. Guess not. P. S. If you're looking for a place with true gluten-free treat options try Affagoto. That place is safe for Celiacs and dairy allergies. Very accommodating, safe, and great atmosphere. Traveling through UT on a road trip we looked up "organic" and saw this cafe on Yelp. We take every opportunity we can to eat light and healthy which can be especially difficult on the road as we were on a road trip through the west. I had the Asian Quinoa Bowl and my husband had the Asian Noodle bowl. Both were delicious and served warm. We ate outside on the patio and though it was warm the temperature was perfect.
