I would give you a zero out of five if this site would let me. Britt/Brittany/Brittney was the RUDEST person I have even met. She was rudely talking about me and my guests to the bartender. This fake manager "Amy" said she would rectify the situation, but forced me to still pay my bill. The drinks were sour and not what was advertised (this is false advertising).the food was completely inedible and was not what the menu described. I informed who to correct the situation and all I got was sass and insincerity. The Owner needs to fire all of the staff in the Camarillo location and hire all new staff. You are the worst business in Camarillo and are giving this town a horrible reputation. Horrible staff (except for the host whom was polite). Extraordinarily rude Server and "bartender". Politely informed manager of the bad experiences and how to correct the issues experience, but the manager didn't care and still forced me to pay. The owner needs to clean house and start fresh. We decided on having dinner here because it had the highest ratings. We were seated right away which we felt was good because they had the game on and we figured people would be crowding the bar, however it was low key. It did take a few mins than normal for our server to finally take our drink order and then food order. The food was good, the sweet potato fries were crispy so that was a win. Our appetizers arrived after the food not sure if miscommunication between server and kitchen, but either way we didn't get them until we were eating our main course. We didn't see much of our server and checking out took a little longer than expected as well. Overall we are visiting the area but if we were to return it would be with the hope that the service will be better on the next go around. read more

I keep on trying this place over and over again giving them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to food quality and consistency, accuracy of the bill, cleanliness, service, etc. I give up. My check for the second time in row was totally inaccurate as were my friend's bills. The tables are never bussed and if they are they're not wiped down. There are dishes stacked all over. My braised beef flat bread had a sprinkle of beef but was drowned in bbq sauce and cheese to compensate. Check your tabs, friends! Keep track of your beverages. Friends of mine and myself have been over charged way too many times. The manager argued with us again. Not worth it. read more

We stopped off Labor Day for lunch. My wife and I both ordered the tuna melt. Waited 40 minutes for the serving (I make these at my house in about 15 minutes). THE weirdest tuna "melt" I have ever experience in my life. It was served cold. I totally missed the onion and tomato ingredients that were advertised. My biggest problem was there was no melt....no cheese whatsoever. It was basically a plain cold tuna sandwich. Again it is called a MELT. WHERE'S THE CHEESE i asked??? Also, the french fries on the side were a bit overcooked. The fries seemed like they came out of a freezer....hard and crunchy. We were promised a discount for our long wait. When we received our bill there was no discount. We mentioned this to our server and she was very apologetic. She offered us a free dessert. For fear we were going to be stuck there for another long wait we declined. I am giving this establishment 2 stars because my glass of beer was excellent. read more

I was in on Sunday 8/9/20 for a early dinner with my two teenage sons. We had Amanda as our server she was totally on top of it with having a full section. My boys love the merica burger and happy hour mac and cheese balls. The double IPA from here is bomb. We will definitely be back, this is our new favorite local restaurant and brewery. read more

I don't like to give bad reviews but I can't find anything positive about this place. I have been there several times but every time I go, I am so disappointed. Last time I went with friends, we all were very unhappy. My friends had street tacos and they thought there were not that good. We ordered the artichoke dip which was disgusting; it didn't taste of looked like artichoke dip. Sitting outside is not good as it smells like sewage. I probable won't ever be back here. She was super friendly and patient as my girl and I were difficult and indecisive. I'm giving it two stars because our waitress, Jackie, was amazing and the food is also very good!! The problem was, Jackie was the only one working. She was getting the orders, delivering the drinks, and food. There was one other guy who was running for from the kitchen. Knowone picked up our menus, dirty plates etc. This is not the first restaurant in this location to have poor management. The bussers need to be trained to refill water glasses, pick up dirty plates, clear empty tables etc. I come from a service oriented business before retiring, I would love for them to be successful. My husband actually want to the hostess to show her a piece of metal that war in our french fries and her comment was, "that shouldn't be there!". He also brought it to her attention that Jackie was the only one working and that our table was full of dirty dishes, you would think she would have followed him to our table or sent someone to our table to clear the dishes, but she basically ignored the situation. I would love to return because the food is really amazing, but not sure I would enjoy my meal of I had to watch the waitress work so had and in the end, probably had to share her tips with the rest of the lazy staff. read more

We had the worst experience at the Camarillo location. My fiancé and I were seated on the front patio at 1:35 PM and watched as many other couples were seated after us. For twenty minutes no servers came to our table and we watched as many other tables were served their drinks even though they arrived after we did. After giving them a chance to provide us with service, I went to talk with the host and said we were leaving because no one came to serve us or even check in with us for over 20 minutes. I just visited for the first time this restaurant. Great find in Camarillo. Pleasant atmosphere and very clean. Interesting menu with great on tap beer selection. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful. The chef came out to see how everything was which was so nice. All their sauces were great and we found out they're all made in house. My family and I had the worst restaurant experience, I think ever. We were greeted and seated quickly. That's what the 1 star is for. Once we were seated, we waited 30 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us, even though on multiple occasions both my wife and I made eye contact with our server. We didn't think much of it, because it did seem busy, so we placed our drink and food order at the same time. Our kids food came out in about 20 minutes. But, my wife and I never received ours. AT ALL. Again we were totally ignored for another 40 minutes. This time our server never even made eye contact with us. They went out of there way to avoid us. Finally someone else came over, we let them know the situation and we told them we're ready to leave. They did comp our meal. As we got up I took a look to see if others were waiting for their food, they were not, they were all eating. I also noticed that we were the only minorities in the area. I hope that's not the reason, but it was something that I thought about. As we left, there were 5 employees at the host desk. Instead of apologizing, or wishing a good day, or simply saying good bye. They scattered and said nothing. Needless to say, we will never go back there again. Even though they have good beer, but so do many other places. read more

I have been coming here for years since before it even opened when my work had a mini gathering here and congratulated the new owners and even was present the day it opened, and everything was amazing. However, as a repeating customer, I won't be back for a while because waitress Julie had an unprofessional attitude and approach when concluding business with my dinner group. When it was time to pay, we all gave our payment methods and when she came back with receipts, she said one of our payments with tip "wasn't enough" and requested more money. When we said all of our tips combined were on the card, she walked away and got another staff member involved to also come over and ask for more tip money and to ask if we were certain. This immensely irritated me because first of all, beggars can't be choosers, regardless of where you work, second, it was the total wrong approach to come back and BEG for more tip money because she felt it wasn't "enough" and then get other employees involved and come hound us at our table, and third, a tip is a reflection of service and we had already left a decent tip in good relation to our large bill and we were only checked on once the entire time. I work in a job with tips included and one thing to remember is if you always expect a tip or a decent one for that matter, you are never going to be happy. Just provide good service and have the right attitude and approach to things, simple. So thanks to this one incident, myself and others who have been coming here for years will not be back for a while, sad to say. read more

The pork bites were perfect, chicken and waffles were really good. Probably get it without the kale next time but still delicious. Here's the crazy part. I would go back just for the Brussel sprouts.
