Great pizza and has a really good beer selection. Does not have a full bar which for some might be an issue. We had the Deviant Sister with spicy honey, did want the honey spicier but that is me I like really spicy stuff. My wife did a build your own and it was great. Kids had a cheese and they ate all of it pretty much. We also had a Cesar Salad and it was great. Only complaint is I ate too much and was super full leaving. We visited on a Saturday evening. We made reservations on Yelp, but arrived early and they seated us right away. The waitress delivered a small glass and a bottle of water at room temperature. I prefer a cold drink, especially on a 100°F day. My wife ordered up a bock beer from their ample supply of taps. I ordered an unsweet tea, but requested a sample of their watermelon cider. The cider was good, but I opted to stick with the tea. We ordered a family-size spinach salad that was quite tasty and way bigger than I expected. We also ordered up their pizza of the month, a taco pizza, which was very good. The location is ideal and the inside holds up the historical integrity of the building in my opinion. My only 'complaint' if there is one, the plates for the salad and the pizza are quite small. I found my food spilling off the plate and making it look like I am a very messy eater. I am not, usually. The taco pizza was good, but like I said, messy, with the small plates as the toppings would fall off as you picked up the slice to take a bite. I liked the flavor and the crust was good, not too thick, not too thin. Overall, a nice evening at a new (to me) place. read more

Have to gloat about this place! Found it using Untappd on our way back from Hillsboro, TX. One of the owners explained that they traveled to Staten Island to learn about the dough making process and that they ship their tomatoes in from Italy. It was absolutely delicious and we'd recommend anybody to take a short road trip to Midlothian to check them out. Went there with the wife and kids for an early supper. I had the Savage and my son had the Deviant( everyone else just stayed plain). This was the best bbq chicken pizza Ive ever had. My son agreed. His pizza was reall good also. We got 2 appetizers, the garlic bread and the butter cheese bombs. Both were really good. Service was great, food came out quick, waiter was awesome. I divide pizza excellence into crust, cheese, sauce, and toppings. The crust was just the right thickness, fairly thin, but a bit puffy from the oven. Perfect! The cheese was tasty and tangy, but the sauce was the star! It really seemed like freshly chopped tomatoes, and plenty of them! Sausage and jalapeños on top were just right. Even the water was great! The pizza was good and they were really nice about subbing a couple toppings... The red wine I chose was also very, very good. The atmosphere is wide open and tables are pretty close together, so it's definitely more of a social scene rather than a date night vibe. There's just something about the Deviant Sister pizza. I decided to give this one a taste. I was curious about the drizzle of honey. I will gladly admit - it was fantastic!
