Everything here= Elite! Their matcha no one can compare. All beans and matcha are organic. They set a high bar for matcha now. It's an 8oz hot matcha but it's not as milky as all the other coffee shops. It's the perfect ratio and has me buzzing after a few sips. Family run business and I love them all so much and it's always a pleasure coming in with my two boys who also love them dearly. They have donuts and croissants. Their location is solid, right in old town. I will say, it's a smaller coffee shop so Read The Room, if it's too busy inside.....wait outside, they have a speaker to call your name. Easily the best coffee place in Clovis/Fresno. 100% recommend. Drinks: I usually get either a cold brew or an iced americano when I'm at a coffee shop because anytime I put any flavor in my drink, the syrup overpowers the espresso. This is not the case at Two Cities. The Iced Amber Vanilla latte has the perfect balance between a strong espresso taste and the sweetness from the vanilla syrup. The syrup is on the milder side which leaves room for the coffee taste to shine through. Ambience: The inside is snug and cozy. A few seats inside. Some seating outside in the front and there is a back patio with more seating. Service: Service is standard. Baristas are friendly. They can get pretty busy but I appreciate their transparency by letting us know the estimated wait time before we place our order. Value: The price is a bit on the higher end compared to other coffee spots but honestly I don't mind paying a little extra as long as I know my drink is going to hit the spot every single time. This is a great local coffeeshop in Old Town Clovis! I came here and ordered an iced latte before heading up to Yosemite for the day with the family. My son ordered a HUGE croissant warmed up and he loved it - this coming from a picky eater was a win. The baristas were great and friendly from greeting us as we entered to serving up our drinks and food. I'm used to being surrounded by a Starbucks on every corner so walking into this place was a breath of fresh air. Inside it was super cool and even had some nice merch. We didn't get any this time but maybe will opt in next time. I'll be coming here more often. read more

Previously I gave a generous two stars, and if this review was based on coffee taste alone they'd get a 4.5... sadly however this place wins the award for the worst customer service. I've been in here over a dozen times the last few years and nearly every single time I get the impression that the people working do not want to be there and I'm somehow inconveniencing them by being there myself. HAHA. My most recent experience I went in at 2:45, they close at 3 PM, and the espresso machine was already turned off. They told me they could make me a Matcha or an iced coffee. I was super bummed and informed them that I would've used the online ordering system a half hour ago but it had been shut off all day. They said "we do that when it's busy." Well how and then why are you shutting things down early if you are busy? I let them know my sister-in-law was really looking forward to a latte from here. They dgaf. They should change their hours to 2:30ish**** or they should hire outside the family (that OBVIOUSLY does not want to be there) and pay someone who can put at least a fake smile on their face. :) read more

Me and my friend decided to swing by today to grab a cup of coffee. This is one of my favorite places in town and my friend had never tried it. There was an extremely rude old woman with gray hair and glasses who took our order. My friend asked what kind of flavorings they had for the coffee and this women just said "THEY ARE RIGHT ABOVE ME" and pointed to the board. MIND you no where on the board was there any list of favors. So my friend reiterated the same question again and was more specific and she was short and rude and continued to point above her. I'm absolutely shocked with the service today given that i've never received service like this before at this shop but then again never seen her there either so that must be why. Verrryyy happy with two cities! I have been driving into Fresno to do my hair for over a year now. I usually stop to get coffee at the other coffee place that can't be named but decided to try something new. I did a little tik tok search and this came up repeatedly. Now, I am not from the Fresno area and have actually never been to Clovis but it is lovely! The area is so nice and loved that there was plenty of parking! I'm so used to the Bay Area and never finding parking that I almost didn't come because I was afraid to be late to my hair appointment. But anyways, the inside is beautifully decorated and not too overwhelming but just right. Service was fast and the line moved quick. Coffee options are great and have a ton of selections for even the pickiest coffee drinker. I ordered my basic caramel iced latte which I usually order at a new place because I figured it's always a safe bet lol. I ordered one for myself and my hair dresser and she loved it! So, I don't remember the name of the specialty latte I had ordered, but it was delicious and strong, so that's a win. I also ordered the pita, which was delicious! I really wanted to love this place, but there is literally only 1 table. I was able to snag it for myself, but felt terribly guilty for taking it up. I saw a lot of other people come through. There is seating along the wall with a kind of shelf, but it's really only wide enough to hold a coffee and bag. I would have left earlier, but had been dropped off, and didn't have an immediate ride home. I noticed that there were quite a few groups of people coming in, that may have liked a place to sit together. Not sure if this place was bigger before the pandemic? They also have outdoor seating, but it was cold and rainy when I went. I did end up sharing the table I was at with 2 other women. But also wanted to note, I don't think this place has a bathroom! So it's definitely not set up for people to linger. The other thing that was really unfortunate was the wifi. It went out for a few minutes, and then later, it just wasn't as fast or steady as other cafes in the area. I was trying to take a call where I mostly had to listen in, but it kept breaking up. Overall, I think this is a great place to order coffee to go, but not a great place to stay. read more

Heard really good things about this place and wanted to check it out. The worker was nice. You don't go inside. Just right to the door is a station and you talk through the window. They have tons of drinks and food options. I ended up getting the large coffee with almond milk. They do not have nonfat milk. =( I also ordered their turkey spinach cilantro wrap and their green chili ham and egg english muffin. If you go, definitely be prepared to wait! They have tables out front and calm music playing. It was a really long wait. I received the coffee first and waited even longer for the food. The worker said the orders are made fresh. That's why it takes so long to receive. Finally received it and wished a good day! Good taste of coffee. Saving the rest for breakfast tomorrow along with their green chili ham and egg English muffin. The wrap looks fresh and good and comes with fruit that looks fresh and tasty too! Didn't receive a receipt or, with the way you pay nowadays with the card input, didn't receive an email or anything that acknowledged I was there. Did not like that. We ordered the peppermint mocha and lavender latte. The perming mocha was really good! It comes with pieces of actual peppermint on top. The lavender drink was very familiar tasting. There seemed to be nothing special about it but it was tasty. Ambiance was nice. There are lots of plants inside which made it feel homey. We sat outside on a perfect fall day and watched the leaves fall. Overall a great experience. read more

Didn't see any reviews on the matcha so I was nervous. Matcha was pretty good. It was very strong, somewhat bitter, but I love the very bold and strong taste. When I asked about the Matcha, they said it was ceremonial grade which made me super excited to try. The color is everything!! The only thing is that it wasn't sweet at all so I did have to add my own syrup from home in it and it tasted even better! I would 100/10 recommend just ask for more sweetener ! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered a maple cinnamon cappuccino...I think the guy taking my order was confused and just put it in as a maple cinnamon iced latte. I've only been here a few times and didn't know you couldn't get the flavors of maple cinnamon in a cappuccino. So when I went back to ask the barista saying "oh I think he heard my order wrong" the tall brown haired barista instantly gave me sass and was rude af telling me "so what's an iced cappuccino" LIKE IK WHAT A CAPPUCCINO IS YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RUDE. Like girl you could've told me nicely that you guys don't put maple and cinnamon in a cappuccino. Came here on Saturday morning near the farmer's market. Had a line out the door but moved quickly enough. Got two different iced lattes - one with lavender, vanilla and another just plain. Randomly came across this place after driving in town. I'm all for trying local coffee, I personally believe it's the best kind! This little place is so cute and the employees are great. The mocha here is prepared perfectly taste wise. I keep asking for no foam and I keep getting a pretty design on top the "foam"! I'm here in town for work and stop by most mornings when I have time. Reason why I say "time" is because it takes a Long time to get your drink after ordering. I waited 21 minutes for my drink the other day. They use a loud intercom to page you. There is only outside seating as inside is closed. You order from a walk up window . I looked inside through the window and saw three employees appearing to be working on orders. Ive been here a couple times and each time the drinks always have been great. The inside of the coffee shop gives you a sense of homey feel with the fresh smell of coffee brewing. However, today my wife and I were disappointed with the customer service. We walked inside and we were not greeted with a friendly smile or good morning. We had an online pickup and for us being the only people inside the shop(besides one other gentleman) you would think you would have a friendly one on one with your customers or at least greet them. No greeting and about 5 minutes without asking what we were there for we finally got our online order and left. My wife gets her usual iced latte and I tried their seasonal peach strawberry tea. We like coming back. And maybe we caught them at an earlier time where people are still waking up (around 7:30am). But a lack of enthusiasm and customer service makes or breaks a business. COVID era: Guess it's time for an update! I saw on YelpFresno Insta that they were rolling out a sparkly matcha lemonade for St. Patrick's day and it looked so perfectly green I decided to go to try. I am a fan of matcha but because I can make it at home, only order it elsewhere occasionally. I'm actually not a fan of sparkly (lol.. makes my tongue hurt) but this was not too too sparkly so we were good. Called the order in, the lady on the phone was so sweet and patient, even taking the time to spell my name correctly which I never expect anyone to, particularly coffee shops lol. Got an Americano for the coffee snob hubs, he said it was solid. Also got the turkey BLT and chicken salad on the croissants. I liked that they came with some little things on the side (cheese cubes, fruit, veg) to make it a full meal. The food wasn't amazing (croissant would have been better toasted) but good enough. Tasted like a homemade lunch. Matcha lemonade was solid, not really sweet, and tasted like good health in a cup. :P They have a window you go up to at this point which I liked. Didn't have to go inside at all. The credit card swiper is on the outside. The only awkward thing is because you can't touch the ipad screen, they ask you which button you want to press at the tip screen. Cue anxious freeze moment... Also they have two tables outside to eat at, which they also have these funny cups at.. which apparently you turn over when you're done so they know to sanitize. Nice. I think overall, the food/drinks aren't the best I've ever had but the service really sets them apart. They are super duper sweet! read more

This is a family owned, Christian coffee shop. I ordered a peppermint mocha and breakfast sandwich. The peppermint mocha was delicious - the whipped cream was really good. Maybe it's made in house? Went in to grab a cup of coffee with my nephew. The decor is very cozy coffeehouse style with dark wood. It's kind of small in there.
