We love their brunch. Amazing real corned beef hash, french toast and a good bloody mary too.

I was excited to go here. The atmosphere was fun and the music was great. After that though, our experience wasn't good. Let me just start by saying that I never write reviews or complain about a restaurant or service. Mostly because mistakes happen and people are human. But tonight I was compelled to complain. After the waiter got our drinks, took our order & finally brought our food, he never came back to check on us. I ordered the sizzling chicken fajitas. When I saw it, I immediately thought of the old LaChoy Chinese food out of a can. Soggy looking vegetables, with about 6 to 8 chunks of chicken surrounded by a gel like, gravy looking sauce. Came with a side of red beans & rice. Tasted just like it looked. Slimy texture and bad flavorless taste. After trying a few bites, I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat it, so I waited for the waiter so I could send it back. But he never came, until it was time to pick up our plates. I told him that I was sorry to complain, but that I wasn't able to eat my meal, followed by a brief explanation of why. It was blatantly obvious that I didn't eat it. He said "ok" and took my plate away and came back with the bill. And..... my meal was on the bill. When he took our money, we asked why I was charged for my meal and he explained that he told the manager and the manager said that it looked like I had eaten some of the chicken. Of course I dit! How else would I have known it was inedible? After asking to see the manager, we were given the same (more rude) explanation from him. We gave this restaurant a try and it was awful. It never got better no matter how much we tried to like it. On a family vacation traveling with 2 children under age 4 we decided a nice beach front restaurant with some bar food and live music might be a nice change of pace from the busy downtown city center at West Palm Beach. The restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel so that was a plus. We sat outside in the open air under fans. Then the live music started, which wouldn't have been bad but for the fact that it was so loud that I could not even hear the waitress when ordering a drink. Now the food and drink...I love to drink, especially on vacation, but what they served me was NOT a margarita, it was a glass of tequila with a lime. And college me might have appreciated that some years ago but tonight it was not what I wanted and it was bad. Then we ordered fried pickles. Not even that bad, nothing to write home about. But the guacamole....HOLY GUACAMOLE was it terrible! It looked like green vomit....it did! And it tasted like the produce in it had gone bad. It tasted fermented. The chip served with it were stale. Then I ordered the lobster roll. Not bad in taste but it was lobster salad on bread served with hot drawn butter...that's not a lobster roll. My sister and dad got marinated skirt steak...it was tough and had to be dipped in the sour cream that came with their baked potato to even be palatable. Oh and that same slime they called guacamole was also a side dish on their plate. The guacamole was so bad I thought Gordon Ramsey was going to come out and yell at them. I bet they scoop it out of a big disgusting bucket and throw it in bowls. Awful!!! My brother ordered the driest ribs ever made. Not dry rubbed but dry!!! Dry as in arid! Like eating sawdust. They cooked the ribs to order in like 30 minutes. Ribs are supposed to be sow cooked all day long!!! Then the waitress said she should have warned us they were dry rubbed...no girl, you should have warned us they were dry!! My brother sent the ribs back, which we usually don't do, but he could not even eat them. He ordered a cheeseburger...also not good. Bread was hard. Service was not great either. The right hand didn't know what the left was doing. As we asked our waitress to make the burger to go a guy from the kitchen came out and served it to us at the table...it was like that all night. This place needs to be on Kitchen Nightmares or Bar Rescue! This is not a good restaurant. If you want quality food check out Johnny Longboats down the street, much better food and service. read more

I would not eat here if your hungery , the burger was over cooked and dry , had to ask for condenments twice and by the time it got there my food was cold . Service was bad and they did,nt look busy . My suggestion is to try a different place . They were out of Jack Daniels ... Who runs out of Jack ???? read more

Two different bartenders, two different levels of service, two different opinions. We were staying down the street and decided to try it on 10/25/16. First bartender, a female, outstanding, attentive, sociable and friendly. When she went off at 6:00PM, her replacement, the complete opposite. Unfriendly, unsociable, We introduced ourselves to her and she said hi and walked off like we were boring her. She never said another word to us agin. Even after walking around the bar a few times. And, even when we were out of drinks. We wanted one more round before dinner and had to flag down another employee. He told the bartender who finally came over and served us. Due to the not so friendly, not so good second bartender, we left and had dinner elsewhere. The second bartender needs to take some customer relations lessons from the first one. read more

Typical beach bar/ foods/ drinking. Fun is when they have a live band on the third Sunday of each month.....bar food is passable but again just okay bar food. Where to start. We have visited Rivera beach several times over the years. We stopped by two drunken goats for lunch. There was 5 in our party. We placed our orders and it took an hour and a half for our food to come out. The restaurant was DEAD. About 45 minutes into waiting for our food another party walked out because their food hadnt arrived after they had waited for over an hour. The nachos we ordered were soggy. The waitress Angela was sweet and came over several times to apologize. We asked to speak with a manager. The manager was condescending and rude. He came over with an attitude and Seeing as it took an hour and a half for our food to come out you would think the words "I'm sorry" would be the first thing out of his mouth. Instead he was quick to blame the waitress for our wait, even after we clearly said this was not her fault. He then quickly stormed off to go scream at her. The food was ok the waitress was nice. The manager ruined an already bad experience if that's even possible. His name is Randy. Do not bother asking for Him if you have any problems he will make it worse. I would say stay away from this place if you want a pleasant dining experience. It's too bad they weren't drunk, it would have been an excuse for the horrible experience we had. read more

The wrong food came out and instead of admitting the error mistake the waiter said it was a kitchen mistake, the bill showed otherwise as it had the original order and then an additional charge to bring the price up to the price of the other meal. The mojito was awful. The shipwreck, margarita, and frozen strawberry margarita were great! Would be a good bar and appetizer stop - wouldn't recommend for a full meal. The food, in both taste and quality, is beneath that of a sports bar. The service is equally poor. Stressed, overwhelmed waitresses who barely made eye contact as they flitted about, were clearly burdened with too many tables each. I stopped there with a friend after a day of snorkeling because a man was playing guitar outside and the music was wonderful! Nothing else was. I had the catch of the day, grouper. How does one ruin grouper, a fish so yummy it's been hunted to near extinction? Go there, if you'd care to find out. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Not like mom's, but better than the fish. Whoever thinks waiting 10 minutes to eat at a packed Sunday brunch bar should not eat Sunday brunch on the beach in season. My wife and I came here and yes it took a little while for the bartender to greet us, bit the amazing bar back Kevin gave us menus and by the time Maggie got to us we had our whole order placed. 2 minutes later I had a spicy $2.00 bloody mary tjat actually had alcohol and tasted great! 10 minutes later I had an incredible crab mest omlet that had lots of crab meat! My wife had the eggs benny and thst was great. $25 before tip for a great breakfast on the beach in a total of 30 minutes is very hard to beat! read more

We come here often. The food is pretty good and we enjoy the atmosphere but the service is the absolute worst! You have to hunt someone down to place an order and they will not come back to ask if you want anything else. As singer island natives, my sister and I came here to get some dinner. The hostess didn't greet us just asked "how many"... Them we got sat at a sticky, dirty table with crumbs all over the seats. Had to wipe the seat with my own hand because *imagine that* no napkins anywhere.. Waitress was rude and didn't smile or say hi or mention any specials... Just asked for our drink order. They delivered the wrong food and then we had to wait for our right order again after already 20 minutes of waiting. Our food was GREASY. Dripping grease (please note I had a chicken wrap... So here goes. I had a steak taco and it was good, fish was ok but I ate it anyway. My waitress was friendly however she forgot my appetizer. I wanted one fish taco along with one steak taco and they would not sell it to me unless I bought two plates and I did which means I will get six tacos rice and beans and still only eat two tacos. For this reason I will not come back! They shouldn't be that greedy or should cater to the customers a bit more if they want repeat business. I am sitting here now and will still leave the normal 20% tip and recommend you folks to stay away. Always enjoyed going here for a drink after work. The bar was always packed on the weekends but the highly seasoned bartenders served customers in a timely manner. There's nothing that grinds my gears more than having to wave a $100 bill around just to catch the attention of a bartender. That has never happened at this location and it truly was a great place to relax and unwind. read more

We ate here when they first opened it was great! Food was flavorful. Portions were large. Waitstaff was attentive. Air conditioning was on. This use to be our favorite spot. A few years later... Food is meh. We had the nachos and the portions were skimpy and the guacamole was watery. We also had a Cuban sandwich and the bread was stale and nothing close to being a Cuban at all. We ordered the ribs and it just a big plate of ribs that seemed like they were deep fried and with no flavor and very dry. We also had the fish and chips and the beer batter was just heavy and soggy to the point where there was more batter than fish. Our table also had a lobster cobb salad and the lobster quality was just meh. I know we are not in Maine. Dinner was $120 for 4 people and there was no A/C on in the main dining room. This is August in Florida. Next time, just go to Subway or 7-eleven a few doors down--at least you get what you paid for. read more

Just one word to describe this place, it's AWFUL ! Awful food - we ordered fish tacos and steak fajitas, they had nothing to do with Mexican food, they were bland, no spices at all, white rice from a box was topped with some kind of plain brown beans straight from a can. If I could rate it less than one star I would. As a local, I would love to see this restaurant succeed and have tried to eat here on more than one occasion. Our first attempt was not very inspiring. We tried the recommended specials and they were terrible. The macaroni and cheese was bizarre to say the most. Our second attempt was even less successful. We were starving. We went here for a special occasion brunch (it was one of the few places around besides hotels), and it was a pretty disappointing experience. The breakfast skillet - a featured item- was little more than potatoes and cheddar cheese. The poached eggs I ordered on top of the skillet were sloppy, one overcooked and the other still with uncooked egg whites. Decent drink selection and the atmosphere was good as well. They have live music a few nights a week and outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Waitstaff was friendly. Right before you walk up to the beach on singer island is this place. It is an excellent place to grab food before or after going on the beach, or if you want a nice meal outside, or semi outdoors. The restaurant is very open to the elements which is very nice on days with nice weather. They have a very good bar as well. Food is good and service is very attentive and friendly. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants when visiting Singer Island. However, after tonight's experience we will probably never return. After having been seated for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table, I went back to the hostess and asked, if no server was assigned to our table. She assured me that someone would be right over. After 15 more minutes still no one came to our table. I went back to the hostess once more, but she told me there was nothing more she could do. It was really surprising, since there were a number of empty tables. So sadly we had to leave the restaurant without meeting a server or the manager. read more

Boyfriend disliked the mussel appetizer. I thought it was okay, a different sauce than I have ever had and just "okay". My friend's fajitas were saturated in oil. My Lobster and Steak Cobb salad was very good-it better be for almost $34! Neither of my friends liked the beans or rice. BEWARE!!!!!! Someone added an additional 20.00 to the tip. Found out after viewing my bank statement. Went here the other day based on a referral and my first impression was extremely positive. The food was decent, great selection of drinks but the problem was when I reviewed my bank statement. There was a 20 dollar difference between the receipt and the bank statement. I left a 17.00 tip but after processing, it turned into a 37.00 tip. A 20 dollar overcharge? How does that happen? I have since attempted to contact a manager on 3 different occasions and have yet to be contacted. I am in the process of submitting a police report to get my money back. Make sure to keep your receipt and check your bank statement to make sure you don't get overcharged. read more

Came here for a business trip after recieving a recommendation from a local at our hotel bar. I liked the location on near Riviera Beach, the beer was cheap, and the food good. I got the Chicken Guadalajara, which is grilled chicken stuffed with shrimp and lobster covered with a sauce. Fantastic. It is kind of a beach bar, so don't expect anything fancy here, but the good service and cold beer makes it worth coming back to again. read more
