This is one of my favorite places to eat in Chattanooga. As most of my reviews for Chattanooga restaurants, I do feel like it's a little overpriced. They have different cocktails especially some that are premade. Typically I get the spicy crab or vegetable ramen; also the lucky belly sushi. The crispy Brussels sprout to die for!! It is always pretty busy on Friday or Saturday nights so reservations are recommended. If you have a small group or just two people you could always sit at the bar. read more

Ramen portion was small compared to other erstabslisbnents. The pork belly tasted off and the broth was too salty. The noddles tasted like they were out of an instant ramen packet. It was over priced at 15 dollars plus the extra 3$ for an extra piece of rotten pork belly. The music selection was trashy. The robot waiters also asked us to wear masks to sit down at the table which makes no sense since it's an inclosed place and no one at their tables was wearing masks. Save your money and drive to raku tonkatsu ramen in Duluth Georgia near Atlanta. Significantly cheaper ramen with larger portions. They also have eel and the food won't make you sick like it did with me. Instead of playing trashy rap music they play kpop songs and have the music videos playing. Awful service. Absolutely no sense of urgency to wait on our table. Spent well over two hours at the restaurant with 90% of the time just waiting to be served. Within this insanely long period of time we could only get two drinks max, some people could only get one drink ordered. Asked for the manager and she also had 0 sense of urgency to help us. We waited on checks for over 30 minutes after asking for them. The checks weren't even right after the finally came out. Absolutely will not be back. read more

Don't go here- there are plenty of other options on the area with better service. Had one of those experiences here that will make me not ever spend a dime at this establishment, despite what seems to be a good menu. Even though we had a reservation, we were told the restaurant was full and they would not be sitting anyone else. While I understand the restaurant may have been full, you don't turn away customers who already have a reservation. The worst part of the experience was the rude and disrespectful host. I see other comments about rude hosts so seems to be a problem with this place. When asked to talk to manager, host refused to call him, and became adversarial- talking back and confrontational. It was a cool experience just to walk in to this place. After we parked in the garage (they validate) we walked around for a minute on the hunt, saw the lamps and slipped in. Really cool decor, sort of an urban/Japanese gem. We got the gyoza and okononi-age (which were loaded tater tots). The gyoza was good, juicy and crisp but for the price we felt we could have more than just 4 relatively small pieces. The okononi-age was amazing and bumps this place from a 3 star to a 4. I've never had anything like it. Southern meets Japanese flavor, great crisp on the tots with some awesome toppings. We would get this every time we came, wish we lived closer so we could make that happen. Having got two appetizers we settled just on the tori paitan shoyu. At first, I wasn't impressed. The broth was just okay and the noodles and ingredients were just not landing for me. The egg was cooked perfectly and as I let it sit and came back to it, the flavors started to land better. The chicken meatballs (tsukune) were really good and stood out. Overall, I think we spent around $30 before the tip for two appetizers and the ramen. Aside from the gyoza, the pricing was alright. If we happen back to the city, I would give this place a shot again just for the okononi-age and then try a different ramen or something else on the menu. read more

Maybe I'm getting soft in my senior years with Yelp, but I just couldn't bring myself to give Two Ten Jack three stars instead of four. The perfect service and great atmosphere/concept of the place really won me over. They did a great job with staffing here. The servers are extremely pleasant and along with the decor, make a warehouse basement feel quite warm. As for the food: The sushi is good, but it's certainly not going to wow you over with creativity or perfectly flavored rice. The ramen is also good, but it lacks that layered flavor you get in an authentic ramen house in LA or Chicago. The noodles don't quite have that eggy chew and its lacking in pork, but the broth has a nice depth....just needs some spice or umami. What weren't just "good" were the cocktails and the diverse draft list. The "East by Northwest" and "No. 2" cocktails on draft were expertly crafted. The first being an odd concoction of shochu with lemongrass, basil, and peppercorn that was brimming with asian influences and layered flavors. Its murky greenish brown color along with its shifting flavor profile made for a mysterious and interesting sipping drink. The latter was just a powerhouse tequila knockout. It was like taking a shot of blanco tequila and chasing it with a baked cobbler laced with ginger. Both are worth the price tag and would be even more satisfying on happy hour pricing. The fact that a place like this even exists in Chattanooga says a lot about the food scene here. There are number of great spots to grab a stellar meal in the urban core. read more

Pro tip: go across the street and tip a waiter at Tupelo Honey to give you to go containers, smuggle them back in, and pack that shit up when no one is looking. Guess what? The noodles DO NOT absorb the broth and DO NOT get mushy and are totally delicious the next day. That rule is insane and doesn't make any sense. We love the Two Ten Jack in Nashville. Since Chris and I started dating we've gone for two of my birthdays, Chris'roommate's birthday, and to take friends that have never gone. When Chris and I decided to go to Chattanooga, Chris said he wanted to go to their Two Ten Jack. I wasn't going to say no to that. We went last night, which was a Friday night. It wasn't very packed but were told there would be a 15-45 minute wait and they could text us when our table was ready. This was fine because we wanted to check out Warehouse Row anyway. All of the stores were closed but Warehouse Row is quite cool. I'm not sure how long we waited but I'm sure it wasn't longer that half an hour. We ordered our favorites: pork ramen for me, chicken ramen for Chris, and the crispy brussels. For checking in on Yelp we got free edamame. The food came out very quickly and was just as delicious as Nashville's Two Ten Jack. My only complaint is that when I ordered a Soporro I was asked if I wanted a glass. I got the beer, which was warm, but no glass. When another person brought the Brussels I asked for a glass and she said okay. I never got the glass. I ended up just finishing my water and using my water glass. Other than that I have no complaints. read more

The bar is great for the single diner. The subdued lighting relaxes the customers and leaves them waiting with bated breathe for the bentos and ramen. I ordered green tea and their tonkatzu ramen. I would love if this ramen restaurant got more options in their ramen selection. Such as shoyu, miso, and other great options. Being able to customize the bowls more would be nice. Hands down the best restaurant in Chattanooga. Please do yourself a favor and go here. The sushi, the small plates, the ramen, the skewers and the drinks are done to the 9s- OH AND THE COOL ATMOSPHERE!! It's located in the bottom of Warehouse row. The service was pretty excellent, idr the name of our server but she was amazing. The Host was also really kind and helpful. The food was good, not great. But overall we enjoyed it. We started with the j.f.c and it was tender and fresh, could've used a bit more flavor or seasoning. I had the chicken ramen and a Tokyo Barbee to drink. The chicken ramen was good, I enjoyed the chili oil, it wasn't too spicy. The chicken meatballs were my favorite part, I wish there were more. The Tokyo Barbee wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, but it was good. It needed a bit more citrus and floral hints, to be as described, but it was still enjoyable. We did order the pork belly yakitori. It was delicious and had a rich flavor, I really had hoped it would be crispier. For Japanese inspired cuisine, it wasn't bad, not quite authentic, but nice if you're looking to stray from typical chatt cuisine. read more

So like most people in town I hadn't come in because it heard this Nashville restaurant had come to Chattanooga with Nashville prices. So when a friend offered to treat me to ramen I said yes! I regret that it took me so long to come in. Eating this ramen was a revelation, I want to eat this ramen everyday for the rest of the year. This place is amazing! It's my go to place for when I want to hang out with my friend. I usually have to wait till I get my check however since it's super expensive, but it's honestly way worth the wait. The Crispy Brussels is my favorite small plate , it's a good thing they serve that at every hour! The strong saltiness really pairs well with the crispy leaves and soft overall texture of the Brussels. The noodle I like to get most of the time is the Spicy Crab Garlic Noodles. This place is amazing, I love the setup and the food is great! I would definitely recommend the crispy brussels for an appetizer and also the spicey crab garlic noodle. I've eaten here twice and these are my favorite plates. My wife ordered the tori paitan shoyu. She loved the flavor and the portion filled her up. When we asked the waitress if she could take her left overs home. The waitress told her because it was broth. They don't have take home boxes for this. This was the only downside to are experience. I've been to Two Ten Jack serval times now and really enjoy it! The food is impeccable with vegetarian accommodations. One tip I have, in the evenings make sure to call for a reservation. I made the mistake of showing up at 6pm on Friday night without a reservation and there were no available seats, aside from the bar, until 9 pm. The service at the bar was not great, but that's to be expected. I had high hopes for this place, there was a super rare ramen they had on the menu so I thought this place must know their stuff! We got there and we were greeted by a miserable girl who acted like she didn't even want to be there. She told us it would be a 40min wait so we can sit at the bar and come back to get a table. We sat at the bar and ordered beers( they came in half pint glasses?) then we ordered Takoyaki or what they made to be takoyaki (thick hush puppy batter with some octopus) 40min later we go to see if we can get a table and the girl told us it will be a 40 min wait. I told her you told us that last time and we have already been waiting for 40 min and she just ignored me. So we decided to just stay at the bar and order our ramen. We got our ramen Tori Paitan Soyu (which is rare to find even in Japan) and was so disappointed it was bitter and the soup had no flavor and the noodles we're undercooked. This Japanese ramen is the nerve center of Warehouse Row's industrial appeal. You can usually walk in to a not-so-crowded, warmly dim restaurant and bar and hear great music like Portishead or Wu Tang that match the urban atmosphere oddly well. The cocktails are great, all ramen varieties delicious, and it'd be a disservice to yourself to leave without ordering mochi for dessert. read more

Japanese Fried Chicken (JFC) appetizer was pretty amazing. The decor is really cool and creates a great experiential meal. Tasted two different bento boxes. The poke its of was mediocre, but the crispy Brussel sprouts were delicious. Tonkatsu ramen was decent and quite heavy (as expected). Two ten jack is located down a set of stairs as soon as you see the sign. The ambiance is great and I loved the decor. I arrived for a late lunch a little after 2 and received their small short mid day menu. I had just gotten back from LA and was craving ramen so I thought I would finally give this place a visit. When I arrived, there was 2 couple tables sat. This place is rather spacious, and there's already small plates on the tables with a pitcher of water, and the waitress was prompt in greeting me. She was very nice. I ordered 4 different dishes and the waitress asked if I was sure after I ordered the free check in edamame which I got spicy, the crispy Brussels sprouts which had raved reviews, the spicy crab noodles, and the classic tontatsku noodle with chasu and a soft boiled egg. I'm a small girl with a big appetite and I wanted to try their food. The food was very underwhelming. The ramen wasn't very flavorful nor did it keep me interested. The Brussels sprouts were extremely over seasoned which seemed like fish sauce. The edamame was just okay. The only thing I kind of cared for was the spicy crab noodles. All of this was about $50 with tips so not too shabby. I took a few bites of everything to try it and took home the spicy crab noodles and left everything else. Also be aware that you can not take the ramen home. FYI the Parking is validated for 3 hours in the parking lot across :) So yay for that. read more

So, this started off rocky and then they knocked it clean out of the park. We were very hungry and told it was a 45 minute wait, and despite an extremely rude host, we stuck it out. Once seated our waitress was so awesome and accommodating. We ordered some edamame (free yelp promo!) and yakitori, I got the shiitake ($3), shishito ($4), and the skirt steak ($7). All so super good. The shishito was stuffed with pork, the shiitake has a delicious sauce over the top, and the skirt steak was literally cooked perfectly. The edamame was also very tasty. For dinner I of course went with tonkotsu ($14), and was blown away. The noodles were perfect, all the toppings fresh, the egg was a true ramen egg! And the broth, so rich but not too thick. Was perfect. We finished the meal with a flight of Mochi as well as some ginger plum tea. The mochi was fine, the tea was amazing. Parking was very easy, as there was road parking right outside for us. I think there was also a parking deck. To be given such awful service off the bat is usually a sign of the rest of the experience, but not here. We loved our meal and had a great time! read more

Most restaurants do not make their own ramen noodles, which i totally understand why, cost and time wise. that being said, the noodles here tasted especially bland. tsukune was dry. crunchy outside, dry inside. service was ok. seemed friendly. on a side note, it was an interesting experience to slurp on noodles at the bar.. was pretty surprised to see other people who were sitting at the bar having soba and such.. (^^;) weirdness was not the issue for me. was just kind of difficult to have in a cramped space, sitting on a bar stool. read more

Great service and delicious, interesting dishes. We had the Crispy Brussels, Pork-age Gyoza (fried dumplings) and JFC (Japanese fried chicken). I loved it all, but think the JFC was my fave. Crispy and spicy but juicy on the inside. We had a late dinner and weren't hungry enough for the ramen and I'm super sad about that. Hope to try that next time at one of their locations.
