Joe tested our water with the strips and told us our levels were unsafe and not to swim in it. He sold my mom some powders and told us to come back the next day to test our water again. We came back the next day and it was a different gentleman. He tested our water in a machine, took a picture of it with my phone so we would have record of the numbers and gave us more advice and told us to bring another sample tomorrow. Once again we came back with a water sample and he tested it in the machine again. He told us that the water needed liquid chlorine, but since we had been such troopers, he gave us a gallon of chlorine for free. We asked when it would be safe to go swimming again and he told us within two hours of pouring the chlorine but we could go now "If we wanted the carpet to match the drapes". I was appalled and had to explain to my mom what that meant when we got in the car. I told her we would NOT be going back. We took our water sample the next day to a different pool supply place which tested our water and we showed them the pictures of the machine at Sun Pool and Spa and he noticed that their machine wasn't working correctly because it had a orange triangle at the top in the picture. We had to drain the pool and we are starting over fresh. Women, beware....

New house for me, but this 20+ year old system was installed by the previous owner and had an unknown maintenance record. Brian made a quote for a replacement heater (old one was beyond serviceable, with no parts available), controller (upgrade to wifi) and pump (old one quite leaky) based on photos that were shared. But when he got to the house and began to dismantle the old system, it became clear that other parts - the actuators and filter - were also faulty. He wasn't making it up - I could easily see the troubles he pointed out. And further, the original installation was done dangerously, with wiring problems and code violations. At this point we were both frustrated of course. More money, more time. After reviewing the situation, Brian presented several options with pricing, and we took a day to think it through. In the end, he was able to properly rewire the pool controller from the main house circuit panel, and I believe the resulting charges were reasonable. At each step, Brian explained the decision to be made and possible outcomes. He was trustworthy. I didn't choose to make all of the changes that were recommended - the pool lights don't all work and won't any time soon. But I have a solid estimate of what that will take and a reliable company to go to when it is time. Brian at C2C will explain the pool systems, stay in good contact during the job, show up when he says he will, and be sure the job is finished professionally. I appreciate the work he did!

Manager Brian put me on hold for more than 20 minutes when I called and I had to call him again by calling him with different phone, and he insisted the pool filter cleaning job is completed when the backwash switch had not pushed back completely to the original position after the filter cleaning. The picture here is showing the incomplete job, even his technician Nick told me that he needs come back to finish the job by replacing O-ring on the day of my pool filter got cleaned.

Carol was extremely friendly and down to earth. Kelly was a fantastic sales manager and showed me everything about the spa which I was buying the second day. Kelly was totally outstanding in every way and spent lots of time with me. He's one of the nicest person's that I ever met in San Diego.
