When we talked to Cesar G. Explained all details about our issues & he gave us a very honest recommendation what we should do to fix our issues. He's not try to sell products like others and the costs overall better than other companies. We decided to work with Element Home Solutions. Turnout we don't have to replace our HVAC, we're only installed new insulation on our attic & duct system. The experience and process from beginning to the end in three days was excellent. The teams are on time & keep our home clean after each day before they leave. Mac at Element informed us all details on our Ducts testing & City inspection appointments all went very smoothly. Ernest came and was again very thorough, but we did not use Element again due to: 1. Inflexibility about using our existing floor air intake. This is a large 3-ft opening in our living room floor, but Ernest wanted to make another large opening on the other side of the living room. Aesthetically this is terrible in a historic home and I pointed out that this would lower the value of my property. We had in-depth discussions about dimensions of ducts, locations of vents, etc., but ultimately Ernest was not able to commit to an alternative plan and I was not willing to sign a contract without knowing what the end result would be. 2. Pricing increased a lot for a similar job only about a year apart. Due to Issue 1, I sought out 2 additional quotes, which were about $10K less than Element ($32K). Both installers did not have any issues with keeping the air intake where it was. Had Element been only $5K higher than competitors and kept my air intake location, I would have gladly gone with them again, but 50% more is a big price difference.

Chris came out early on a Saturday morning to meet me and inspect my attic. He provided a free estimate, according to my availability, not his which I greatly appreciated. When the crew came out they were on time and very professional and courteous. I would also like to add that it was A very hot day yet, they took their time and did not try to rush or take any short cuts. They sealed off everything in the work area and did a very thorough clean up after the work was done. I feel I was given a very fair estimate and even with my job being so small, they still spent most of the day onsite. If you suspect you have a rodent issue in your attic, I recommend Atticare.

They arrived promptly for appointments and were thoughtful about avoiding tracking dirt into our home. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home. There has been this persistent smell of rodent urine in one of our closets for literally decades, no matter what we have done. Not any more! I could not recommend Rywen Insulation more highly for rodent control work. We've had rodent control people here before, but never at the level that Rywen takes things to. They put in place genuine long-term preventative measures to keep rats and mice out, not just patching holes. And that has made all the difference. No more smell in our under-the-stairs closet! And, I'm not sure if it is always a part of their service, but they offered us a one-year warranty. Rats and mice did return --- probably due to a contractor leaving our crawlspace door open overnight with the lights on, several times (oops). But Rywen took care of the problem immediately, no questions asked and no additional money requested, for the entire year of the warranty. They aren't cheap. But they are soooo worth it.

When Elmer came out, he took about 30 minutes to walk through the house and gave us a completely different--and much more reassuring--assessment. He identified entry points where rodents were getting into the crawl space, explained that the air ducts did not need to be replaced, and instead recommended insulating the rafters, reinsulating the attic floor, and cleaning and reinsulating the crawl space. He also suggested installing an attic fan to improve air circulation. Throughout the visit, he was straightforward, knowledgeable, and very approachable. We decided to move forward with the attic fan. Umar updated the contract promptly and even came out personally to help program the fan and connect it to my phone. Their team worked tirelessly over four days and did an excellent job. They were professional, detail-oriented, and left the house clean when they were done. A Good Overall Experience with Some Ups and Downs…read more We had been dealing with rodents in our attic for several months, so we decided to have the attic professionally cleaned. Our experience with Attic Pro was overall good, although the quality of service varied somewhat depending on the individual team member. Fortunately, we started the project with Assad, who did a very thorough inspection of our attic. He recommended not only cleaning it but also replacing the insulation, since it was very old, dirty, and heavily contaminated with rodent droppings. The initial quote was on the higher side, but Assad was able to offer us a discount. The project was completed in two phases. During the first phase, Osman's team removed the old insulation, set up traps, and did an excellent job sealing openings into the attic. They really went above and beyond, including closing several openings that we specifically pointed out and replacing some of the old mesh. Unfortunately, one of the rodents ended up getting trapped inside a wall and died, leaving us with an unpleasant smell behind a kitchen cabinet. I contacted Attic Pro several times about the issue, and each time they sent someone out to inspect the attic and help us address the problem. Their call center staff were also consistently courteous and responsive. In total, five rodents were caught. Whenever someone from the team came out, they would also inspect the attic and seal any additional openings they found with mesh. While a few of the individuals who came later were not as professional as Osman's team, they did complete the work properly and were patient throughout the process. They also waited more than a month before starting the second phase, giving us time to make sure there were no more signs or noises of rodents in the attic. Once we were satisfied, the new insulation was installed quickly, and Osman's team--Anthony and Roni--did a very good job. Overall, despite a few bumps along the way, we had a good experience with Attic Pro. The professionalism of some team members, particularly Assad and Osman's crew, really stood out. I would recommend them, while also noting that the experience can vary depending on the crew assigned to the job.

Samim came out and did a very thorough evaluation, showing us dozens of photos of areas that needed attention. He also recommended new insulation, which we hadn't considered and told us our dryer vent needed repair. It took us a few weeks to schedule, during which time Samim followed up periodically, never pushy, always answering our questions and providing more info. His professionalism and knowledge was a huge reason why we chose to work with Attic Pros. On the day of the job, Osman and crew cleaned the attic and crawl space and installed new installation, while Douglas repaired the dryer vent and Kevin cleaned the ducts. They did an amazing job sealing off the work areas and keeping the house clean, despite it being very messy and grueling work! They spent about 3 hours vacuuming the attic and another half a day sweeping the crawl space by hand. Their attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. We were sooo impressed! And Samim's recommendations were spot on - our dryer is much more efficient now and we noticed the house was cooler within hours of the new insulation being installed (it was the height of summer).
