Yo Sushi & Ramen in Vacaville exceeded my expectations and delivered exactly what I was craving…read more This was my first visit, and the first thing I noticed was just how many tempting options were on the menu. Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I didn't want to try. I usually judge a sushi spot by its dragon roll, and this one absolutely delivered. The tempura was warm and crispy, topped with fresh avocado and rich unagi. Best of all, the rolls were the perfect size, so you don't have to unhinge your jaw just to get one piece in your mouth. The Titanic Roll was just as impressive. It came loaded with tamago and finished with a generous layer of cream cheese that brought everything together. These rolls were a little more challenging to pick up, so if your chopstick skills are questionable, ask for a fork. We wrapped things up with the mango mochi ice cream. They offered to top it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, and naturally I said yes. The mango flavor really shines without being overpowering, and the mochi had that perfect soft, chewy texture instead of the thick, gummy consistency that some places serve. From the quality of the food to the generous portions, this place knocked it out of the park. If you're in Vacaville and craving sushi or ramen, Yo Sushi & Ramen is absolutely worth a visit. We also had a titanic roll which my wife thought was good but was just so so for me. Lastly we had the tempura appetizer, which we had the previous times. I do really like this, my only suggestion is to make the pieces a little more manageable. The onion ring and the one piece of broccoli are just way too big in my opinion. The last thing that bummed me out, and is what will probably make me not return. We were seated next to the sushi prep area and under the refrigerated case was tons of crumbs and stuff. It unfortunately really turned me off as I just can't stand a dirty restaurant. Please address this for future guests

The meal came with Pad Kaprow w/ Fried Egg, Rice and Thai Iced Tea. The portion size was big for a $13 meal. Both my wife and mother-in-law had left overs to bring home. I'm a pig, so I killed the whole plate plus drank both mine and 3/4 of my mother-in-laws Thai Tea. Their food is consistently good. They had recently done some remodeling, so it seems more inviting and spacious than before. Servers were very nice and attentive. I believe they revamped their menus, and what caught my eye was they offer Alligator dishes and Wagyu Beef Pad Kaprow. They also have a Lean and Clean menu for healthier dishes as well as an Athlete's menu for cleaner eating and muscle building. They are proud to be named #20 of Yelp's top 100 places to eat in the U.S. for 2015. I am interested in trying some of their new menu items, so I will be back soon!

My daughter calls her "auntie," and she is the absolute sweetest. It always feels warm, welcoming, and like family when we come here. This place was the perfect rescue for Chinese New Year when you don't want to cook but still want something comforting and special. With regard to atmosphere, they have maintained the environment they created when they transformed the old buffet into this more traditional Korean BBQ full service restaurant. When it comes to Bonchon, the kimchi this visit was delicious! We still had to request japchae, but at least this visit we had an idea we might have to do that. With regard to menu items, the Korean fried chicken is still really good, as are the spicy marinated meats, and the various shrimp options. The thin sliced ribeye, is still not my favorite. A note to those folks who have a little gray hair around the edges... Blue House offers a 20% discount to seniors on Tuesdays. Definitely a bonus!

The rice itself was subtle, with a slight soy sauce flavor; definitely allowed the chicken to shine. Thai iced tea - 8/10, good thai tea. not too sweet, stronger on the tea side. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The restaurant is decent in size (has both outside and indoor seating), and had a modern, clean look.
