Really did not expect the quality of the food to be what it was... but every thing that ate, fried shrimp, fries, and that Mac n' Cheese, blew my socks off. That mac changed my life and was by far some of the best I've ever had (rival to Beechers' Mac in Seattle). This place is not as it seems. The first time you go there they give you samples of a few of their tasty treats. Some tastier than others. Just enough to steer you on the large menu. Dane was at the window to great us with an excited smile. He gave us a brief story about the place as we sampled their wears. The chili is tasty, and so is the mushroom soup. The tomato basil is by far the best. The Cole slaw is very good it will pair well with many things. The smoked pork is where it's at. My wife chose the lobster roll with Cole slaw. She said it was good. My son and I got the Flagler morning after burger. Be forewarned it's big. It's a meal in it's self. The smoked pork is the star of this burger. The fried egg tops it all and adds to the whole adventure. Yes it's outside seating. Yes it's picnic tables. Yes there could be a bug or a fly that stops to join you for a meal but the food is well worth it. And the workers are all very accommodating. This was my first visit. My son said we must do a lot more research. So more to come. See you there. Oh the music is pretty cool too. read more

Love this place. The owner is all about making sure he provides the freshest and best food possible. The burger is excellent, it has a Smokey flavor which melds perfectly with the cheese etc. it is delicious and it is huge! The chicken gyro is excellent as well and love the homemade tzatziki sauce. The cheesy smoked chicken bacon ranch melt is awesome. It's like a flavor bomb going off in your mouth....delicious. The beef barbacoa quesadilla dinner is excellent and the rice is so good too ( usually an afterthought at most places but here it's so tasty). The owner pays attention to everything. Including making sure your food is freshly cooked and that you pick it up timely ( love that he is conscious of timely pickup as there's nothing worse than soggy food). I'm a negative, nasty, non-complimentary kinda of reviewer and this place is fantastically phenomenal! It's not a fancy sit down restaurant and it's not intended to be. It's got great BBQ and the mushroom-chicken soup is made with a kinda cooking wine that you'd find in a high brow fancy restaurant but in a regular joe atmosphere. I mean the first spoon of this soup is mind blowing! I literally come buy and get it when I see this joint. The chicken wings are smoked to perfection with that crispy skin with that mesquite Smokiness of deliciousness. Even as I write about this I need some of that mouthwatering deliciousness!!! I've had the lamb and it's equally delicious! All in all it's a road side MUST stop! The only thing I will say negative is you will pay a little more than a standard road side BBQ joint but it's worth at least one visit.... at the very least! UNCLE CHICKEN is fantastic! read more
