I called in for a pick up, the phone message in the beginning is a bit lengthy for my liking, but the guy who took my order was very friendly so that made up for it. I ordered a medium combo. It was ready fairly quick I didn't have to wait long at all. The girl at the register was soo nice and pleasant. I got home and scarfed down a few slices, I was impressed! Pizza was good, crust perfect, ingredients of good quality. Also get their house made ranch, yum! I also really love that this places delivers to the Woolsey canyon area. Really dirty and very cramped. Pizza is priced at the same prices as high end pizza places in the valley, so that doesn't make sense to me. The pizza dough is extremely doughy and has no taste whatsoever. It's also beyond extremely greasy. The only thing I kind of liked was how it was burned on the bottom of the pizza. I swung by this week to pick up dinner on the way at my sister's house. The guy taking my phone order was very efficient. The food was hot and ready 20 minutes later. It was packaged well and they included all of the plates, utensils, cheese packages, etc. The store looks like a typical to-go house and they do offer delivery. The pizza was pretty good with a nice crust. The baked ziti was as expected and the salad was also fine. Nothing spectacular or ultra gourmet but it hit the spot. Consist on Quality,always important. I say this because back when my Son was in High School this was their pizza spot. My favorite is the meatball Sandwich and their version of a side salad with Italian dressing. The same taste and Quality I had 20 years ago. Great Job staff.This is why they've been in Business for 27 years. Now parking is an issue tho,I would just park on the side street of Lassen, east or west bound. Was once my go to pizza place for 30 years or so but the quality of the food has really gone down. The food does not taste the same. I know they had to have changed several ingredients largely to cut down on costs. If there were a taste test I could easily taste the difference between food from there now compared to how it once was as well. The sizes also changed. A large pizza is more like a medium. I remember when a large was actually huge. Costs went up as the flavor went down. read more

I ordered a pizza paid for it and sat there for an hour inside of the restaurant. all while the staff played and threw food at each other. After an hour and a half i got up and ask when will my pizza be ready they started looking around at each other like they didn't know what i was talking about. One of the staff look on the board and seen my order on the pad which had never been touch or attempted to be made. i then got very upset and ask for my money back. i felt so disrespected and i felt discriminated against. not to mention the girl that works there was throwing the pizza out the oven on the counter and when pieces of meat fell off she picked it up with her bare hands and put it back on the pizza. Bomb af pizza!!!! Their pizzas are so fluffy and made with love! I love the family restaurant vibe and how small and quaint it is. The pizza is made just how you like it and they do not cheap out on toppings. If you make your own pizza like I did it could get a little pricey but the quality of the food totally makes it worth it. This was like 20$ ish. The guy at the counter who took my order was so friendly and kind too bad I did not catch his name. He worked around 8 on Saturday 9/28 had a blue shirt on i think? The place is small. There's a handful of small tables for seating. Most orders were coming in for delivery or pick-up. 2. There was one guy working when we went in and he was super nice. People walked in to pick up their orders and they seemed to be regulars because he'd greet some of them by name when they walked in. It definitely gave us a family type restaurant vibe. 3. We ordered an individual Uncle Ernie's combo which comes w a bit of everything and an order of wings. The wings were ok, nothing to really brag about, but the pizza...was amazing. Cooked perfectly, good amount of toppings on each slice, and even though we ordered an individual size, it was plenty to feed both of us. It was just what I had been craving. Pastrami pizza was everything . I got thin crust but I would like it with the thicker crust. It was so delicious.

We were visiting friends in the area and they ordered this up for delivery. OMG!! We had two pizzas, (1) Hawaiian style (I know you pizza purists, you hate this type of pizza!!) however it was delicious! along with (1) olive, mushroom, and pepperoni. I am not a mushroom-eater, but I ate it anyway, and it was delicious!! We complemented this with an antipasto salad. Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching up with old friends, with delicious food!! Uncle Ernie's has one of the very best pizza's in town. This is a true pizzeria pizza, sweet sauce, hand tossed crust. Also their Pasta San Remo is really unique and great. I too have been a faithful customer for over 20 years and finally will say I will never order anything from them again. The pizza went downhill over a year ago but I still loved their sauce and would order pasta with meat sauce. Today I ordered the pasta and they changed their sauce recipe. The sauce tastes like Ragu now. The sauce was the only reason I kept coming back but now that is ruined along with their pizza. I will just buy Prego at the market now. read more

The review is very hard to write as I'm a friend of the family. Unfortunately, I haven't been to the restaurant since before he owner passed away. Upon our arrival, it looked clean. Upon ordering, the employee helping us was new and was having trouble putting the customizing of our order. We ordered wings, antipasta salad and a Uncle Earnies Pizza. The wings didn't even look like Hot Wings; they looked plain and as if I cooked it at home and BBQ to add char. The salad we just requested extra onions, but when we saw it; it looked like an Onion Salad. The pizza was prepared as requested, but it was VERY Spicy!! So, unfortunately I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. We were so disappointed in the food that it saddens me to write this; but I would definitely get some people that know how to work the register or at least when he asks for help he should get the help. To whoever reads this post; please reconsider this pizza. Or, if you really want to go just look at the food before you leave.
