LOVE this place omg! I saw it on instagram and was really excited to try it. It has the perfect coffee shop atmosphere, has lots of parking, a big menu and is open until 9pm!! All things I look for in a coffee shop! I came around 7pm, had the banalatte and the fully loaded avocado toast and both were super tasty. The avocado toast was also pretty reasonably priced compared to other cafes in NoVa so I was really happy about that. The staff is still learning since they opened relatively recently but that's to be expected :) Will definitely come back! read more

I went here when they first opened, I had the banana latte and it was great! I wanted to come back since I am a college student that is in finals season and I thought this was a perfect place to go study. I came back the 2nd time today but this time I had a big workload so I wanted to try to finish my work before even thinking of ordering. I guess I was there toooo long? (I was there 11am-2:00pm) I had no intention in taking up space but one of the worker or owner came up to me and asked me if i had ordered anything. I told her no. She then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't stay there if i didnt order anything. Ofc I remained calmed and started packing my stuff but I was really taken aback because she also said "this isnt those kind of places" whatever that means... Unless I am mistaken there was no sign about seating time limits or anything. Im not even the type to write reviews but that had to be the most interesting experience I've ever had at a coffee shop. I wont be coming back again because that was very unwelcoming. GOOD BANANLATTE THO LOL! just dont come if u plan on doing a high amount of work. read more

Went in today and ordered a white chocolate ice mocha, didn't know it was an extra 75 cents for an ice versus hot drink. I wish them well, but look at the prices before ordering. There are other places in the area with better pricing and great baked good options. One and done for me, I do wish them well as they settle into the neighborhood. read more

I have been here many times. I always hope for a better experience. The staff are never friendly or welcoming. And the drip coffee is ALWAYS cold. Every time I have to ask them to put my coffee in the microwave oven. What kind of a coffee shop cannot produce hot coffee? read more

I thought I would give Underdog Coffee and Bread a try. I was disappointed over the $4.20 small coffee. They only offer 2% milk or half&half. I asked if they offered lunch, and said yes, but only offer breakfast sandwiches. The pastries are good, but there are other pastry shops in Annandale, which are as good or better. read more

I saw my sister and two nieces last week with these drinks. I didn't know what it was till my sister told me about even the location. Yesterday I decided to go there to give it a try. I ordered Strawberry Chocolate Latte and my Mom ordered Mango Latte from the non coffee section of the menu. I cannot tell you they were delicious! Staff are nice and the place itself was nice. Everything was so well! The matcha expresso was really well, just remember to mix it! The acia bowl was good as well but the cookies were out of this world! They were so good! The Iced Matcha was great, not too sweet, and we really enjoyed nibbling on the Earl Grey cookie, which was flavorful and sweet. The seating area was big and pleasant, with marble tables. True to the theme, there is a water bowl and dog food outside for canine visitors and little dog plush toys available for sale. read more

I love supporting small businesses and especially new coffee shops. It's a lovely space that's bright and open. The woman working was very nice and welcoming. I ordered a hot Cappucino and a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich to go. I didn't have much time to linger as I was headed to work but I look forward to trying other items like the pistachio latte and even the açaí bowls. I would like to share that the breakfast sandwich had some sort of sauce on it. I was really not expecting that and it's not mentioned on the menu. I wasn't a fan of it on the sandwich. I couldn't tell what it was. Maybe a mayo base with rosemary? I wish I'd known, as I would've asked for it without it. I also experienced this in the past when I visited Cafe V in Annandale as well. Drinks were very yummy me and my significant other got the banalatte and a butterscotch , the banalatte was on the thicker side , think maybe a smoothie aspect but was really good in my opinion with some raw sugar , the butterscotch was very good according to my significant other , the pasties were really good , we got the oatmeal cookie and it was a little bit on the dry side but paired with a drink it's great , we also got the banana bread , it wasn't my personal favorite but I can definitely see it being other !, sandwiches we got were a little heavy on the cheese side which brought them down a little bit but that may be personal preference , overall the vibe and ambiance is very good ! A wonderful new cafe with fun latte flavors! I'm always in search of cafe's with unique drinks and this place delivered. I loved their banalatte and coconut latte. Def a must try! I've yet to try their pastries and matcha latte next. The space is quite big but still felt like there weren't enough seats. They also have beans that I look forward to trying.
