Undo's has definitely gone downhill from the early 2000's. I went around Christmas and then again last week because I thought, it must have been a bad night for them. First of all, the individual salads with the dressing in the side does not compare to the large family style bowl. The bread tastes the similar but was so much better served on the pan. Don't order a chicken and pasta dish - it is the bag typed chicken that they heat up. I had a chicken and pasta dish each time and this is what it was. The regular marinara pasta dishes are ok- but pasta is overcooked and not enough sauce. Undo's you were much better than this. Not wasting my money there anymore - drive to Union Grill in Washington. read more

We came family style and were treated family style. Perfect seating, great service with very personal attention. Drinks were quick to come out with appetizers right behind. Pasta's were perfect and dessert's amazing. I highly recommend you find this location under the bridge in Benwood Wv. read more

Disappointed as they we're experiencing a gnat problem. Recommend getting your food to go for now! It was nice they comped the cheese bread to make up for it but there were too many gnats to stay and eat. Maybe next time! Couldn't get past the gnats to eat the to go food, ended up feeding the food to my friends chickens. read more

This is a very nice restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. This was my first visit, by recommendation of a friend, and certainly not my last. The salad was large and had onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and the dressing was very good. The lasagna was served piping hot and the portion was large. There was a lot of meat and the sauce was delicious. The bread is also delicious and was baked to perfection. I will definitely eat here again. read more

Undo's is a must go to when in the Ohio Valley! Their famed bread is like nothing else and their quality of their food is amazing. Nothing I've tried anywhere compares! Columbus doesn't have any Italian restaurants that come close! Raviolis did not disappoint on this visit and it came with a huge salad. Some Columbus restaurants you have to pay for the salad even when you pay for an entree!! The valley is lucky to have this gem! Great prices and huge portions! read more

Undo's has some definite goodness. They bring bread on a pizza pan with a small tin of melting garlic butter. The salad was crisp, and I mean crisp, with their delicious house dressing. But, the biggest drawback is that their proportions are just way too large! All 3 of us could only eat about 1/4 of our meal. We should have ordered one to share. Salad is spot on great. That's where quality stops. Ordered wings. Nothing but fried chicken with salad dressing. Steak is only second best and that's being charitable. I don't like leaving this review, this is a locally loved spot that's been around for ages but I just didn't get it. They have small tablets on the tables, they don't have the menu on them but they do have things like Twitter and games. I think it's good for kids whose parents don't want to give them their phones. They also do nightly specials every weekday. In place of a bread basket, they serve you a sauceless cheese pizza with a thick pillowy crust, with marinara for dipping and a foil bowl of garlic butter set over a candle. I love this idea, and wow is that a big portion for free, but I wasn't a fan. The garlic butter tasted like regular butter, the sauce was tame. Apparently dinner also comes with side salads served in heavy metal bowls to keep everything cool and fresh. The salads were good, they came with peppers and olives and cucumbers- for a free salad this is really nice. But I did not understand why there was so much shredded cheese. Two kinds! I think every salad I was served in the state came with copious amounts of shredded cheese (it's not like this is shavings of Parmesan). We ordered pepperoni rolls and fried ravioli with ricotta and I forget if it was bacon or pancetta- some kind of pork product on top. The pepperoni rolls are pretty straightforward, but the ravioli appetizer was overcooked twice so in the end we just decided to forgo it and take it off the bill. If they can get the execution right it seems like a good dish! For my entree I ordered the linguine with sausage and peppers in a marinara sauce. The dish says either the sauce or the sausage is supposed to be spicy, I forget which, but neither was. I don't know if the sauce that was on my pasta was the same sauce that came with the pizza, but it tasted the same to me. Our server was super sweet, but spread a little thin. She seemed to be the only one working her section and she did a great job juggling everyone and was all smiles! read more

I've lived nearby in Pennsylvania most of my life, within less than an hour of this place, and had never been here until today (Feb. 14, 2016). I had always heard good things about Undo's, and word-of-mouth around here is always a good indicator of how good a place is. The linguini with meatballs was excellent and the portion very sizeable. My mother ordered a calzone and had enough left over for probably two more meals....it was that big! The service was very attentive. Dessert was caramel cheesecake which was awesome. This is a great family-type restaurant, old-fashioned home-cooked Italian food at its best. read more

Locals love it and outsiders don't get it, but this is an "A-OK" restaurant/bar that will satisfy both your hungry and thirst for a reasonable price. This place is relaxed with good friendly service. We usually go to the Elm Grove location. Today we decided to dine at this Benwood location. They did remodel at some point, however, the chairs had big rips in the vinyl and appeared old & unkempt. The food was mediocre and not up to par. The menu had a nice selection. Our food looked good, but taste has declined. The Elm Grove location seems to taste more like the original. read more

I'd lived in the area my whole life and had never eaten here. I was out with a family member who suggested we eat here and I agreed, excited for the experience I had heard so much about. The highlight would be their bread. I ordered chicken Parmesan. It was soggy and tough. I ate mostly the noodles. My family member ordered fish which she said was gross. It came with a cold frozen piece of avocado. The water they served me tasted like dirty tap water and the waitress was nowhere to be seen. Gluten Free available! I grew up in the area, and I knew the food was excellent, but with Celiac disease it was no longer on my list when visiting the area. Well, the Benwood location now has gluten free options including pasta, and the chef assured me he was familiar with the diet requirements. This made my husband very happy because it is one of his favorite places. I do not know why the gf options are not available at the other locations; perhaps that will change in the future. If you are not familiar with the Benwood area, it is an old mill town. Not the most upscale of neighborhoods, but quite safe. Extremely slow. Restaurant is only about half full took almost 30 minutes to get salad and bread. Took another 20 minutes for the main meal which was very good when it actually showed up. This was recommended to us several years ago & we love it. Us & our motorcycle friends make this a must visit each summer. The food is great with large portions. I am really surprised that this one did not have more reviews. I live 9 hours away but we are in the area 4-5 times a year. Most every time in the area we try to take my mom there. We all love Italian food and Undos is excellent. The salad is plentiful to begin with, included with the meal with a great dressing. The tomato based sauce on the entrees is exceptionally good. A local native tipped me off to Undo's or I would have never found it. Not much on decor, but the food was great for everyone at the table. The table bread was actually a white pizza, delicious with the marinara and garlic butter dipping sauces. A big salad bowl comes with the meals. This used to be the best ever, after 25 years going there,,,it has gone down hill. I almost always get Veal Marcella and loved it. Last time I got it, it was so spicy hot and had tons of hot peppers in it. I dont think it even had peppers in it before. I asked them why they changed the dish and they said they did not. Why lie? I could not even eat it, and I like spicy food....this was way over the top. To pay big money for food you cant eat....a waste. read more
