Hertz & Tutor Time have been here a long time, as well, but I think Uniform Advantage trumps them both. Gone are Yoshinoya, the comic book store, the United Artists Theatre (which became the defunct Indian movie cinema), Tommy Lasorda's Home Plate, Kapistahan, the pho place, Al & Ed's Autosound, Tower Records etc. Yet, Uniform Advantage is still alive & kicking. I hope I didn't jinx them *giggle* Here, customers can find a wide assortment of medical & other work scrubs, from brand name to so cheap I just needed something at the moment. Solids, character prints, holiday themed - it's all here. On the right of the store, footwear of various kinds & various price points are available to try on & see if they are what you want to take home with you. Stethoscopes, pens & other merchandise are also on hand. When I needed to buy scrubs in the past, my favorite were Dickies brand. Specifically, the ones with the pants having elastic in the back & drawstring in the front. They were the most comfortable to me, being how I've got junk in the trunk. Hey, I'm not ashamed! Guys have done countless reps of squats, lunges & deadlifts for what came naturally to me. And, no, I'm not part reindeer ;p BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Anyhoo, the Dickies tops & pants have plenty of pockets to store things & are rugged and durable, the reputation which precedes the brand. Occasionally, Uniform Advantage sends out mailers with 20% off coupons. Any coupon is a godsend, so it assuredly entices people looking for apparel to pay a visit. Service has been good when I've been here. Merchandise is easy to find & displayed based on color, sizes & brand. A few fitting rooms are in the middle of the store. Parking is in private lot, shared by CVS, Orchard Supply Hardware & the other businesses I mentioned beforehand. While not the cheapest place to find scrubs & other merchandise, what Uniform Advantage has in it's favor are the number of inventory items they have, the attractive store in which they have said inventory & the quality of their merchandise. If only Uniform Advantage offered alteration services, it would be a one stop shop. Scrubility has come & gone, the uniform store across Bellwood General Hospital has come & gone, but Uniform Advantage defiantly stands amongst it's former competition. Visited the store in-person to check out of the different fabrics of every brand. I wanted to check out certain brands and items in-person but was disappointed to see the limited selection offered in-store. The selection online is way bigger for obvious reasons. Very glad I came through. I was between this and another scrub store, but this store looked alot more spacious and had alot more options (at least in the yelp photos) than the other nearby store. So many brands, it was overwhelming for me. Alex did not make me feel rushed at all and was so patient while I circled around the store again.. and again.. and again :P And I was very happy I was able to try them on before buying. The only thing I was bummed out about is the Butter soft scrubs I bought had pretty limited colors and sizes. I imagine though the style I got is one of the more popular ones, so it probably sells out quick. I then went on to their website where fortunately, they had sooo many more colors and available sizes and were on sale! I wish the store matched the online sale prices, but not a big deal. First time here. Am I impressed? Definitely not. I don't like being called "sweetie" and "honey" every time I'm being addressed. I know I look young but don't talk down to me as if I don't know what I want or what I'm doing. With that being said this store is quite large and has tons of different items ranging from numerous brands of scrubs to accessories and even a large variety of shoe brands. Don't get me wrong they have great products, and probably have what you're looking for... but for a much higher price than other stores I've visited. This store is significantly overpriced by $5-$15 depending on the item/brand. They do give you a discount for being a first timer 10% or for bringing in your work badge 10% but that barely covers the taxes... Ehhhh I think ill pass. With so many scrub/uniform stores to choose from, I don't see myself coming here anytime in the near future. read more

Nice selection. You can definitely find almost everything you need here. I saw a lot of things that I've seen on amazon in this store. Large variety of scrubs. My favorite, healing hands, they have it here. Couple bucks more than online, but I love that I can see it in person and try it on rather than ordering it and returning it. They also sell nurse accessories, I bought a side pouch to put all my pens, dressing scissors, pen lights, etc. in. The workers here are great too. They've helped me so much. The staff was amazing, giving us advice on how to select the proper shoe, and what kind of socks would really help her in the long run. Been a customer with their online site for a long while. Always been ordering black for myself which is always a safe bet. Finally decided to try a new color but it was totally off in my perspective. Reached out them and unfortunately they decided not to allow return or exchanges. I can understand because it is embroidered and they can't resell it, but for consumers this may be very unfair. Their response was, "The items in the active location reflect the customer photo. Sometimes the lighting online will make the color look different in person but the color is the same. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process a replacement for this." Refer to the photo, you be the judge and you can even look at the photo yourself. Ordered was Galaxy color, but it looks more like their Royal Blue from their own website. Wrote a review on their website in hopes that this won't happen to other customers and, of course, the review never showed up on their page. I have been to this location a few times but I am not a big fan about the pricing. However, the reason why I keep returning every so often is because the large selection of scrubs they have. If they do not have your color or size in the store, they will order for you (free shipping to the store and a shipping fee for home delivery). The plaza is currently a mess due to the construction but it is still pretty easy to find parking in the later hours. Store is kept clean and neat. I am sure there is a system on scrub organization but I never got around to asking the workers. The workers are all very welcoming and helpful. At my most recent visit, I found awesome stretch scrubs by Dickies which were very comfortable and worth the price. They did not have my gray or hot pink in the store so the gal was kind enough to offer special order and store delivery. They have a point program with your purchases there but I am not sure what the perks are. If you are looking for a wide selection of female scrubs, look no further. read more

Great place to buy your uniform. If you are a nursing student, do know that they sell nursing caps. Its so difficult to find nursing caps at other stores. I've been told there not made anymore and to look on youtube for instructions on how to make one. But Uniform Advantage has them. I ordered scrubs online and the sizes were too big. It was such a headache to return! They only provide you with a ups shipping label for 5 items which costs you $8.99 deducted from your total. Many varieties of scrub brands and different material too, I recommend coming in with time cause I spent a good 2 hours browsing and trying stuff on but it's probably cause I take my time haha. Grey's Anatomy happens to be my favorite brand and this is my favorite uniform store because they carry the most Grey's Anatomy scrubs compared to many other stores I've been to. They do carry a large variety of different brands though, like Helping Hand, Maevn, Buttersoft, Wonderwink, and Dickies (I'm sure there are more but these are what I remember at the top of my head). Pros: - 10% discount on ANY purchase if you show them your employment badge. - They send coupons in the mail. - Large variety of scrubs in terms of styles, sizes, and colors. - They carry different brands of shoes in many different sizes. - They have compression socks. - They have accessories like ID badge holders, name tags for stethoscopes, Littmann stethoscopes, and pen lights. - Very nice fitting rooms. - Very helpful employees. Sent two emails at the beginning of the week, and their answers were not helpful. I needed the scrubs as I was going a disaster relief mission. I ended up calling them, the agent was not helpful, so I asked to talk to supervisor. She sent me the same order as an overnight shipment, therefore it came as the day it was promised. Definitely a great reminder of how far I've come in my journey towards fitness, but it left me in a bit of a pinch. I was set up for a stage shift, with no uniform. A little research led me here. The majority of the items carried tends to be scrubs; no real help at all. They do, however carry a small assortment of chef's coats, pants, and slip resistant shoes - essential in a pro kitchen. Oddly, most of the jackets and pants seemed to be sized for very tall, very overweight individuals. While I'm no pixie, I'm not six feet tall, 300+ lbs, either. The women's section as pretty lacking, but I was told they'd be expanding. I ended up taking smaller men's items and just rolling them up. Whatever works, right? I was comfortable enough :) Not a terrible place to find uniforms, but more or less best for those in the medical field for now. I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet! I went here today with one of my good friends from nursing school to buy "cute" scrubs instead of the starchy strong all white monstrosities we have to wear.....okay, well they're not AWFUL but they're pretty bad (you can see them in my pictures if you are so inclined...). We just got new jobs for the summer at a local hospital so we decided to go and do some shopping. I love this place, not only do they have a 20% student discount, a very clean and well organized selection of scrubs, but the service is beyond excellent. The prices are well, scrub prices....but, they do have a vast clearance selection ($5.99-$11.99) and their store specific brand "Butter-Soft" is sooooo soft and cozy and decently priced. They also have a ton of different cuts and styles of pants for every size, I even found a pair with a zipper that covered my entire ass and didnt even show any crack when I bent down, score! This store also sells scrubs for men, and uniforms for chefs, doctors and other professions. They also sell all the equipment any nurse or nursing student might need at very reasonable prices. You can also join their mailing list to get coupons and special offers from the store. The store was very big and well-organized, but the best thing about my experience was the staff. They were so kind and helpful and attentive. It felt like they actually wanted to help you, strange. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my scrub purchases. ****This review is mainly on the customer service that I had just received on 9/1/15 other than that, I love this store!!!**** Just returned my dysfunctional penlight that I had bought here about less than a month ago. It was one of the more expensive ones too! Something went wrong with the light bulb. When I would twist it on the right way, it wouldn't light up. If I unscrewed it really loose, the light would turn on. Of course my concern is, "what if it falls off?" And "WHY is it doing this?" So, I went to the store and spoke to an associate named Catherine. I told her my situation and showed her the penlight. She very rudely replied saying, "Well that's weird. We don't even sell that here..." A little irritated, I replied, "what do you mean? I bought this here." She shook her head and said no... I walked to the penlight section and there it was. A bunch of them -______- it was the Prestige Medical brand. I told her to come look at it and she didn't even apologize for embarrassing me. I was just hoping for them to replace it. SCRUB HEAVEN LOL. Uniform advantage is one of my favorite places to get scrubs or any other things I need for my work! They have a lot of things and I mean A LOT. They carry men and women scrubs, hospital equipment, and cool accessories. They have a huge parking lot so parking isn't an issue. They share the parking lot with a rental car company and a cvs. They carry stethoscopes, compressions socks...you name it, they have it. Ever since my work started color coding the staff and putting embroidery on the tops, I've come here for other things. They have fitting rooms. Also, if they don't have something in stock, they can ship it to your house or you can pick it up in store. The staff is always friendly. Sign up for their emails and you can get coupons!
