I love this neighborhood coffee shop! The coffee is good and it's usually a good place to work when it isn't too crowded. I can get a bit loud so wouldn't recommend if you have real work to do. The pastries are great and the servers are really nice.

Coffee was okay, I got a vanilla latte. I would go for the ambiance. I did not get any of the baked goods, but they looked delicious!

The cafe is a cute, local spot in the neighborhood. They have wifi, restroom, and tables to sit and chat with your friends and family or to read a book! The cafe has a wide range of drinks and food and pastries. I got a hot americano and the coffee wasn't bad. The American was about $5I'd like to try their other drinks next time I'm around. The workers were super sweet and I loved how the usps worker came in and naturally used the restroom and chatted. It showed me how it was a neighborhood cafe and made me appreciate the cafe even more.

Chewy Pecan and Lemon bar

Perfect corner coffee shop that has wifi and benches outside to pick up some coffee, tea, roasts, and treats! Post brunch we were looking for a place to meet and plan some trips and needed WiFi. My friends got iced americanos, iced tea, and I got a hot blackberry herbal tea. We also got a pecan chew (so good) and lemon bar. Family owned business for a long time I believe, friendly staff and such a cute local spot that has been in business for a long time. Would recommend giving this place a try over Starbucks if you're in the area.

Blueberry crumb muffin and black drip coffee

Union Street Coffee Roaster is a spot right in the heart of Cow Hollow. Building: It has like a rustic Italian countryside and a decent amount of seating. There are some benches right outside and it is right in front of the 45 bus stop. Food and Drink: I got a black coffee and a blueberry crumb muffin. Both were ok, nothing special. The coffee is bit on the watered down side but wouldn't say it was bad. The muffin also I would say is pretty average. Overall: It is a place where I would come back to if I was in the area, but would not specifically go out of my way to travel here.

cappuccino

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee last weekend. I came across it while walking down and checking out the small businesses all along Union Street. There was no one in line and I ordered a cappuccino, which was served up in under 5 minutes. Cappuccino: 3/5 The cappuccino was okay, but the cup wasn't filled all the way to the top. I was surprised to find how light the cup was, so I opened the lid to check it out. I understand cappuccinos have milk foam, but there was a LOT of foam. I'd estimate it was 3/4 coffee and 1/4 foam. Other than that, it was a pretty nice place to stop at during my SF visit.

Mushroom Quiche

Definitely early for work and stopped in for a breakfast bite. Busy carryout, but plenty of inside seating. Photo ID and proof of COVID vaccination required to dine-in. A small black and a slice of quiche (3 stars) came to $11 with tip. Nice couple run/own the store.

Large Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Honestly a super underrated spot! They have huge drinks and the Vietnamese iced coffee is perfect. It's a little rich but definitely not super sweet

Kopiku is an Indonesian Specialty Coffee Shop located in the Marina. Indonesian coffee is renowned for its low acidity and great flavors. So I was excited to try them out. Except I got super excited when I saw Pandan--anything! So instead of just a regular coffee, I had to try their Pandan Matcha. And a serving of their Lemper. And a slice of lapis Pandan cake. The Pandan matcha was fairly balanced with a smooth taste and slightly sweet aroma. Although not my favorite, it's not bad. The Lemper is a popular Indonesian snack made of glutinous rice with savory fillings wrapped in banana leaf. Reminds me a lot of Chinese zongzi and Mexican tamales. The one that we tried had shredded chicken inside. It's a lot more spicier and gingery than I'm used to but good. The lapis Pandan cake is a version of the traditional Kue Lapis. Good Pandan flavoring. Lovely ambiance with some indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Located on Lombard and Van Ness.

My sister and I stopped by and found seating outside to get a little work done and people watch. We got a black coffee, chocolate croissant, and a lemon loaf which were all really good. I've been going to this location for at least 3 years. When I went on this day, the quality of the cappuccino was noticeably down bad. It was busy with a conference but.. I've been before in the past during a busy farmers market Sunday and still enjoyed the coffee. It was super loud too, hard to communicate my order without feeling like I'm screaming lol and then the bagel I ordered was so tufff :( Ambiance -- busy! People all crowded around the barista, there's no system other than saying names of orders, and people shuffling around to get their coffees. It's kind of interesting that such a popular location wouldn't have a text notification system to let customers know that their orders are ready. With love send help lol pls

All around pleasant experience in terms of both the service and coffee. I had the flight and…read morethought it was overall good. They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

At 11 am on a Sunday they were out of their best- black sesame Kouign Amann and the Raspberry Almond Croissant, which I took care of by paying a visit to Juniper bakery (sister business) later in the day. The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.
