Very Unique spot for cocktails and snacks. The bartender was great. We weren't really that hungry and wanted something light. We shared the wedge and it was delicious. The bathrooms were really neat. There were no handles you just pushed the door open. You just kind of stare at the wall for a second. Just a fun, unique place.

We spent our Thanksgiving in Nashville and enjoyed our dinner at the Bobby. We reserved our igloo seating on their rooftop prior to showing up - they call this Camp Bobby. The menu is very limited, but they have perfected the dishes immensely! If you are wanting to order a drink that packs a punch, I would recommend getting their spiked hot chocolate which has toasted marshmallows on top. Dishes below: Baked Goat Cheese with a tomato fondue and toasted focaccia bread & the Disco Fries topped with braised short-rib, cheese curds, and Bordelaise Sauce.

New menu We ordered a variety of items off the menu I had the shrimp and grits and I was extremely disappointed. I was looking for good ole southern style shrimp and grits but this was by far one of the worst s&g ive had. Description said coconut grits and I thought it would be just a hint of coconut but boy was I wrong! I felt like it was too thick for grits and the coconut was way too overpowering. The sauce on the shrimp wasn't worth mentioning either Shrimp and grits - 1/5 Crab cake Benedict - 3/5 Truffle fries - 1/5 - had no truffle on the fries. Came with a "truffle aioli" and charged us $12! Almost as much as a burger there Potato fingerlings - 2/5 lack of flavor Decor and ambiance 5/5 I didn't have the salmon bagel but my friend said it was very fishy.

This was a staple on my Nashville trip itinerary. I made a point to try it from all the good things I'd heard about it. The cocktails are divine! The bartenders were so friendly and helped me decide on the burrata & arugula and the Brussel sprouts (the best I've ever had!) The ambiance of the bar and hotel is pretty rad too. Very cool vibe and decor. My only gripe was how small the menu was and the prices are a bit steep. If you're looking to spend some cash then go, or even for a drink and to people watch -- I'd recommend :)

This place was delicious!! The food was so incredible and all of the staff were extremely friendly. They have a speakeasy inside of the hotel so if you ask a staff member grant you access you can enjoy some drinks there after dinner!!

An amazing dinner location in the Bobby hotel. The ambience was perfect for a night out with friends. We started with the brussel sprouts, blue cheese chips and shishito peppers. If I can say anything about the appetizers the shishito peppers were so good. I'm usually not a fan of peppers, but these tasted amazing!! Perfectly coated in a sweet soy sauce and lightly char roasted. If I could over a plate just for me, I would. We then got the lamb meatballs and truffle pasta for dinner. I am a sucker for anything truffle so the pasta was a no brained. On first look, the pasta looked plain but when I ate the first bite it took me to truffle heaven. One critique I would make is that I wish it had chicken or something on it, but it was still so good. 15/10 would recommend this place for dinner and drinks. The staff was so friendly and accommodating

WOW WOW WOW. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I went here with my sister and some girlfriends and we were blown away. 1. The lobby and restaurant are visually stunning. Beautiful fixtures... don't get me started about the massive chandelier! 2. Service was so informative, helpful, and friendly! I can't remember our servers name... I even asked for it at the end, I tHiNk it started with a J. Anyway, he was absolutely delightful! 3. The menu is concise and to the point. They also cater heavily to vegetarians- I had so many QUALITY options to choose from, which usually isn't the case as a vegetarian! 4. Nice wine selection and perfected cocktails. 5. The food was absolutely delicious. Don't pass up the Buttermilk Blue & Chips, Ceviche, Yazoo Gerst Cheese Bread, or what might be the best pasta *ever*... Black Truffle. Anyway... we will definitely be returning. Definitely.

    Incredible Sirloin cooked to perfection.

We had a great experience at the Tavern. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter, Jordan, was great. We had the sirloin and yellowfin tuna ceviche. The chef split the sirloin for us and boy was it cooked to perfection. Absolutely amazing. The ceviche was light and tasty. Was a bit of a bummer that they came out at the same time, but nevertheless, both dishes were spot on. The main downer was how little of a dessert selection they have and what little they do have doesn't seem too memorable. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to eat that steak again.

Excellent service! Fantastic food! Our server, Bennet was top notch! He was professional, courteous, attentive, and just overall delightful! It was very obvious to us that there is a strong culture of excellence! The manager was very kind and visited with us for awhile. It is quite obvious that he is running an excellent establishment. Wish I could give them more than five stars! Thank you for a lovely experience!

I love the atmosphere here, the decoration was beautiful. Our server was awesome, and the prices are very reasonable for the downtown location. The burger was decent, I wasn't moved but portion wise I was happy with it.

4.5 First off, the Bobby is beautiful! Wow! From the moment I stepped inside, I wanted to spend time here. All the employees with which I interacted were all so pleasant and helpful. The decor is fantastic and there are surprised to be found around every corner. But I wasn't here to ohh and ahh over the decor. I was here for lunch and Tavern at Bobby delivered that quite well. To go to the restaurant, head to the back of the first floor. The Cafe at the front/patio of the hotel is a separate installation. We arrived shortly after opening so there wasn't a hostess at the post but our server, Ross, showed us to a table. We sat by the window and started with glasses of rose'. 1.) It's summer. 2.) It was a business lunch. 3.) It's summer. I chose the Spanish rose' and my friend chose the French. I preferred mine. It was a bit lighter and sweeter and went down way too easily. It packed a punch that snuck up on me. Rather than settle on one plate, we decided on a few different plates to share. This was the way to go. As instagrammable as the decor is, the food is as well. But beyond the good looks, it smells and tastes fantastic! There wasn't one bad seed in the bunch. We went to town on the watermelon salad, grilled wings, lamb lollipops, and signature burger w/fries. The watermelon salad was a take on a caprese so expect balsamic, tomato, cheese, and basil -- along with chunks of watermelon. It was summer on a plate. Continuing with the summer theme, the grilled wings were tossed in a sweet bbq sauce and served atop a cream corn variation. Delectable. The lollipops might have been the star of the show, though. They smelled heavenly and tasted even better. The only (slight) dings I would give is that they were advertised to be served as four and we received 3 and the harissa element was more subdued than I expected. Still, a very satisfying dish. We could stand for a couple of more bites so that's where the burger came in. It's as good as advertised -- served medium with cheddar -- but I could have eaten plates of the seasoned fries that came along with. I am all in for Nashville's new hotel scene. Rather than being a place where tourists rest their heads, the new hotel scene is inviting and invigorating for locals. Bobby has come out of the gate swinging. The next time you find yourself downtown, stop in/by. I think you'll be impressed.

I'd like to take a poll...Please like this review if you're not a fan of shoestring fries. Whenever I see them come out I wonder how restaurants DON'T know there's nothing exciting about getting a side of shoestring fries. Thanks for your help. Other than this, we had a decent anniversary at Tavern!! I went outside my millennial comfort zone with this place. No menu pictures posted and only a couple reviews and pictures. We valeted and walked to, what we assumed, was Tavern. No signage, no business cards, or even a napkin to confirm this was where we were supposed to be. Once we verify, we're seated and take in the beautiful, detailed decor. This place is beautiful! We decide on drinks (same name, only better and the bulletproof) and were both quite pleased! I'm not a fan of sweet drinks and neither were overly sweet! For dinner he decided on their burger (see top shoestring French fry comments) and I got the iceberg salad and the poke (technically a shareable plate) for dinner. It was more than enough for a meal and we enjoyed both our selections. We looked at the dessert options but there were only 4 and we are chocotarians. There was only one chocolate dessert and we weren't completely sold so we passed. For $100 with tip, we were pleased with our entire experience. There were a few odd elements you wouldn't find at a high-end restaurant, but I would be nit-picking to say they negatively impacted our night. I would come back and like to stay at the hotel and try their breakfast!

Instead, we spent a fair amount of time looking at the menu trying to figure out what actually appealed to us. And when the food arrived, I started to understand why. The food was good. There's no question about that. We enjoyed the chicken, but even there, I found myself thinking that there was just a little too much going on. A little more sauce. Another ingredient. A garnish. Something else for texture. Then something else for contrast. At some point, I start wondering if the chef is trying to make dinner or win a culinary scavenger hunt. I prefer my elegance with a little less. Sometimes the best way to elevate a great ingredient is to give it a little room to breathe. The menu felt somewhat limited, and the food didn't quite live up to the very high expectations created by the restaurant's reviews. Everything we had was good, but I didn't walk away thinking it was as exceptional as I had anticipated. Overall, four stars. Etch is clearly a talented kitchen with a lot of creativity. I just think they may be trying a little too hard. Sometimes less really is more, especially when the ingredients are good enough to stand on their own.

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this visit, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.
