I generally do my haircut with Thi which is mostly very good. I tried with Angel this time because I couldn't get appointment with Thi. I had a horrible experience starting from the moment i sat on the chair. I started to describe how I want the haircut done. She made a grumpy face and went away to get the book with different hairstyles. I browswd the book and couldn't find the style I wanted. I told her to take 1 inches from the top to which she replied its too long. I told her that I wanted long hair on the top but she wouldn't listen and said it's too long. I had no choice and so i said just take 1.5 inches if that makes you happy. No surprises, the haircut ended up very different than what I expected. I have short hair on the top now and would have to wait atleast couple of weeks to get the style I wanted. read more

Has more of a salon feel than a barbershop but it doesn't really matter because there is never a wait (the booking system is flawless). More details about the zero respect part: Thi asked me what haircut I'd like to have, and I showed her a picture of me a while back. She said, in her original words, "your hair looks weird, it's coming down in the front because you aren't using any hair product". Then I asked her if she has any recommendation on my hairstyle. She said I'm supposed to come here knowing what kind of haircut I want. Then I asked her if they have a menu I can check out, she answered yes but all the hairstyles requires hairproduct to look good. This conversation took ten minutes because her english is not good, and all I got from this ten-minute conversation is that I don't deserve to be served by them because I don't use hair products. With all her confidence(arrogance?), you would expect her skills to be good, but nope. She just did what other barbers usually do but shorter. I walked in and was greeted, immediately I felt something was off, the stylist had a very condescending attitude and asked me to wait, which I did. While I waited, another stylist (there are a total of three) finished the hair of a customer and came to the front, then they talked in Vietnamese, I assume, for a good five minutes before anyone attended me. Then I was led to a chair, I told the stylist that I just wanted short on the sides and a little trim on the top, but she insisted that I select something from a hair style book. But after looking through them, they were all very short hairstyles, and all the models were white. Given that I am an Asian man with thin and straight hair that sticks out I know that these hair styles wouldn't work on me. I expressed my concerns to her and she just shrugged it off. She looked through the book and showed me a picture of a quiff with high fade on the side. She told me that this look can be achieved but she will have to use some hair product. I was hesitant but I gave her the green light(how I regret that now). After the hair cut she spent another good ten minutes using gel, and hairdryer to give me the so-called quiff. I felt the hairstyle was not something I expected, as it looked nothing like the photo book, but I still paid her 25 dollars and give her a 5 dollar tip. I normally take a shower after I came home to wash off excess hair, and the attached photo 1, 2, 3 are what my hair looks like. photo 4 is my hair before the haircut, photo 5 is my hair when i came out of the place. I was so angry that I am wrote this review right after. You can clearly see that the hair is cut unevenly, with a higher fade on the left side than the right side, and the trim on the top and back of my hair is extremely uneven as well. I will NOT go back to this place ever again. I would recommend anyone that wants a haircut to NOT go to this place either. read more

Worst haircut I've gotten for a while the place looks old and outdated, the short lady who cut my hair went so slow that i was falling a sleep, she had no idea what she was doing half of the time, also the tools that she was using were really outdated and cheap, the hairdryer got so hot at some point that it was burning my ears for the price of the haircut which was $25 you should have decent tools and good customer service, I felt like that was the longest i had spend cutting my hair bc she wouldn't make any conversation at all. overall i don't recommend this place. and especially don't recommend the lady who cut my hair, I had to give it one star bc Yelp would let me rate it 0 stars. read more
