Linda the owner was having a bad day today and took it out on my son. She was moving him excessively and brushing out his hair with little water. Practically yanking his hair full of dried gel out of his head. I let her know she was giving him the wrong cut and starts giving me attitude and starts chopping at his hair. I'm very upset, I love the other barbers here but Linda was super unprofessional today. I feel bad for my son and am not comfortable taking him back. Do yourself a favor and let ANYONE BUT Linda cut your kids hair. read more

I have been coming here for a year and was starting to like this place. Linda was nice at first say hello everytime i walked in until one day she messaged me on yelp about why i "like" another persons bad review. First of all, how are you going to try to change or contr what i said or "liked". That shows how unprofessional you are. Instead of trying to fix your mistakes, you pick on the people that leave a bad review. To top it off, i walked in one day and she confronted me in FRONT of all her customers why i left a comment on her yelp page. In front of the customers, can you believe it!? Shows how unprofessional you are. But i stayed civil and kept my mouth shut. You dont do that do your customers , thats just rude and unprofessional. If you have something private to say why dont you write to me on yelp instead of calling me out in public trying to prove a point. Well. This place is not kid friendly. I had been bringing my kids here to cut their hair but today the owner blame my son that he had done something last time in the bathroom. My son is only 8 years old. Regardless if my son did it or not! It doesn't give the owner the right to scream at my child and to blame him for something he didn't do. My son started crying. I started to like this place. It is closer and only less than 2 miles away from home. As you mentioned earlier they are working for commission. Yes, I get that but as a customer I should be able to choose who should cut my hair. What if I don't like the barber? You should not really tell the customers who to go for. I suggest you let them pick. I almost had a perfect haircut today. I asked for 2 lines on the side, I repeated myself about 3x I want it really THIN LINE and the guy made it really thick. Linda has been my barber for the past 6+ years since she was at her old location at Mt. Zion. I had to follow her because she has great attention to detail and cares about the haircuts that are given. Her new shop is a hidden gem in Orange and tends to get really busy on Saturday mornings, so the best time to get a haircut is on Friday mornings or Sundays. Price and quality are by far better than any location nearby. This is a real barber shop with no frills -clean and simple. I never understood getting a $30 fade + tip at other places. P.S. I saw some of the negative reviews, and I must say they were probably difficult customers. I encountered some of the rude and inconsiderate customers there before. Linda usually knows I'm patience, so she'll ask kindly if they can go before even though it was my turn. I don't mind because she'll put all the games on at once (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.). Yo..! I have found my barber shop.! Finally a barber shop that really does know how to fade. They don't just cut your hair, it's an education process talking to my barber Linda. While she was cutting and working on my perfect fade, she educated me on the different types of fades I could request for. I used to think that I wanted the high and tight look, but after having my first cut from Linda, she's convinced me that what I really wanted was a medium tight fade. As I was getting my perfect haircut, I was amazed on all the other customers walking in with their shaggy Covid 19 look, some you can tell that they tried to cut their own hair, and walked out looking like they could model. 10 lbs lighter and 10 years younger right?! That's what you want in a great cut. Guys if you're looking for the perfect cut and fade, this is the place. I came as a walk-in my experience was the worst I hope the owner can read my review. In terms of the hair cut it's five stars Benjamin did my son hair and he is great in all terms of you ever want to come here ask for him. Now the attitude of the manager who's name is Linda is the worst ever, my son had a surgery the day after I was here and he had a Medicean and has to use the restroom a lot so before the cutting I told him let's use the restroom when we were done she asked me rudely to shut the light off, we sat and I was asking Benjamin for an issue I don't like in my son hair and asking for his advice she jumped took the machine from Ben hand and asked me what do you want? Like yelling at me I told her I'm talking to him and need his advice she said if u trust us let us do our job and I did she ruined my son hair, anyway I finished and paid the guy and put tip for him and left my son wanted to use the restroom again we had to come back, she started talking loudly and yelling if you want to wash your son hair in the restroom you're not aloud I answered nicely no Ben knew why I'm using the restroom and he said just go, and then I was mad I went out and asked her do u have a problem us using the restroom she said this is your second time I said so? Do you have limit ? And I told her my son had a medication and he is using the toilet a lot. She rolled her eyes and on my way out I said who is the manager here she said me I told her your attitude is very bad to the clients I'm sure the owner won't be happy she answered my attitude because of your behavior I told her I was not having any service with u u jumped to do my son hair and I didn't ask and counting how many times I'm using the restroom with a very bad loud voice where many clients are here and I had to explain my son medical condition to everyone. And your attitude based on your personality not my behavior and left the shop so mad. I just moved from SF to Orange in need of a good barber. I get a Taper- Fade with a hard part and I usually pay 40+ in SF for a good haircut. So I've been looking for a good barber for a while now. Some are good in Orange, but thought price was too much. This place is good and I'll run the experience. Saw the yelp reviews at 8:45 and thought, I'll go there early and beat the line. Got there at 9 and there 3 people in chairs for 3 barbers, and 5 people waiting. So there goes that plan. Good news! 3 flatscreens on tv so I can watch some premiere league soccer! So that was good too. Linda, I take is the owner per the previous posts, in chair 1 greeted me with a smile when I came through the door. Thankfully I brought a book and I got to watch some English premiere league. I watched as people came in and Linda always greeted every single customer. She also was checking the haircuts of the other barbers. When she saw something that she felt needed to be changed, she went over and helped. Thought that was a good touch. One customer, a couple, came in and put their name down. A customer that came before them and put their name down before the couple, got seated first. The couple seemed to get upset and left. But Linda was nice about it, explained, and apologized as they left without getting a haircut. Good touch. Traci(y) cut my hair and she did a great job on it. Came down to anaheim with my family for Disneyland but myself and my son wanted to get much needed haircuts and after reviewing yelp, found this to be the best reviewed spot in the area. We came over 15 minutes before opening to see if they might require reservations but the shop owner linda stated its walk in only and invited us in to wait. She asked what we would like and took me first since i was getting my beard cut as well. She was not even officially open yet! She really took her time cutting my hair and talked me through the process but it was like she already knew what i wanted! Her fellow barber cut my sons hair and he did a great job and linda gave him a few pointers for my son. The price? $40! I would have paid over $60 for this in Sacramento! I got a haircut here, yesterday by Pete. I honestly haven't had such a good haircut in a very long time. They're fast and very professional. I really like the way Linda knows everyone by name that's a regular here. They have definitely earned my business from here on out. The thing is that in other barbershops you could end up paying 25-30$ for the same haircut and here you'd end paying 12$. Tip: Just remember to bring cash. I am not sure how this shop got 4.5 stars. I tried the Unlimited Barber out for the first time and had and had a very inexperienced stylist cutting my hair. My hairstyle is pretty standard. After leaving and washing my hair the next day, I noticed my hair was cut at different lengths. The haircut was cheap and sometimes you get what you pay for. I never go back to a barber with an issue, but will never go back or could not recommend the Unlimited Barber. I honestly believe their glowing reviews are fake. read more

I have a propensity for changing my hair style every so often. Sometimes, I'm low maintenance and grow my hair out. Other times, I'm more discerning with my hair and cut it every 3-4 weeks. That said, I've probably had over 5 barbers over the past 5 years - 1 barber for each year I decide to change my hair. On a random weekend after finishing my eye exam in Orange, I thought it'd be interesting to see how the barber scene is around the area. I found a lot of barbers on Yelp but decided to go with Unlimited Barber. I'm really happy I did because Linda and her team are very accommodating, warm, and friendly. I can tell that they are very dedicated to the craft of 'barbering'. I enjoy speaking with Linda and her team every time I come in; it's cool developing a relationship with them because they have kind intentions. They know what hairstyles work well with your hair and cater to your needs. If you show them a picture of what you want, it will definitely turn out exactly like a carbon copy of the reference picture. Our first time here and I'm impressed with their COVID precautions. Everybody was wearing a mask and they sanitize after each customer. The lady who did my son's hair did a great job and explained everything to us. We walked in at 1pm and was seated almost immediately. They are cash only so make sure you bring cash, they charge $16 for my son's fade so comparable to other barber places we have been. read more

I've had enough, especially when I get the newer barbers who are untrained and they screw up my hair no matter how many times I repeat myself with what I want them to do or not do. How come other places can do my simple request but not here?? I love the price here but it's not worth it for me anymore. I'm an on and off client, and like some others have mentioned on here this place was good at the beginning. The last 4 times I came I've always felt hesistant as if I'm gambling for my haircut.
