Been coming here for years and somehow haven't left a review...fixing that now. Usually don't have to wait for a table and today's visit was no different. Sat ourselves and the staff came over to greet us with menus and water. Kids love the grilled pork rice platters here so immediately ordered a few plates and fried rice for the wife. Usually order the pho, but decided to deviate. Food came quickly and was delicious as it usually is. Devoured our plates and paid at the counter. Quick and easy experience. Obviously would recommend if in the area.

It was our first time trying this spot! Our server was so personable, friendly and funny! She joked a lot and kept us engaged. She had a bit of sarcastic humor which we appreciated. We had the crispy egg rolls and I had the brisket pho which was great. They have additional sauces at your table to adjust the spice level and flavor. The food came out quickly, too. Overall, pretty good for a quick bite to eat in between running errands. Special thanks to our server who made our experience unphogettable!

Caddy corner to the Asian Market on Dobson is this little gem. Super unassuming in the middle of the very busy Asian district in Mesa. When you walk-in the lights are low. They have what is essentially pic nic style seating. With a direct entrance to the outdoors and another into the Asian market. The servers were busy and working a lot of different tasks. While it was not jam packed with customers, there was a constant flow of patrons in and out. My wife and mother-in-law shared fried shrimp won tons, pork and shrimp spring roll, and the thin sliced beef pho. Every bite they took was followed with an audible "mmmmm" another compliment. The spring rolls were girthy to say the least, with two large shrimp in each and a nice large slice of port in it. The won tons were fried to perfection with a healthy portion of shrimp in them as well. I enjoyed the vegetable Pho with fried tofu in it. The broth flavor was welcoming and robust. The kind of broth that makes you feel hugged on a rainy day. Something someone lots of care in making. You could tell the vegetables were added just before being served., They were still crispy, giving the soup a nice bite rather than soggy mush. The tofu was pleasant especially after soaking in the broth a while. I feel they could have been cut smaller, maybe half the size and had a bit more. The noodles were phenomenal. Was avoiding them because I was really trying to eat light and avoid as much carb as possible, but once I ate just a little I couldn't stop. This is place I highly recommend and will definitely be back again. This is a great place with charmingly authentic flavors.

Such great Pho! The broth is flavorful and the meat feels fresh! I love the fresh spring rolls with shrimp! The Pho itself doesn't need much sauce, the broth comes seasoned so well. The service is quick and the restaurant is small but homey. If you are looking for a great meal, this is the place!

Located inside Mekong Plaza; convenient for quick lunch while shopping. Service was good and efficient. We tried two of their pho, combo and vegetables. Both had decent broth with slightly overcooked noodles. It had fresh ingredients and we left satisfied. Enjoy!

Talk about tasty bone broth, Pho and fried rice! Friendly service staff! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

My family visited Sedona from CA for the Christmas holiday, and we stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Phoenix. On the second day of Christmas, we decided to visit Mekong Plaza, a well-known place for the Vietnamese community. I tried UnPhogettable, where we ordered Spring Rolls, Phở Đặc Biệt and Bún Bò Huế. The phở broth was okay, and the bún bò was also decent. The environment is nice, clean, and eye-catching, especially since the restaurant is located right next to the main entrance of Mekong Plaza. I agree with most reviews that this place deserves 4 stars overall, but I took off one star because of one staff member (the only Asian girl with dyed blonde hair). Unfortunately, she did not demonstrate good customer service--she spilled water on the table while dropping it off and walked away, and she handled utensils carelessly, almost throwing them toward customers. That said, the owner is very nice and professional in running the business. I would recommend this place if you don't mind the service from that particular staff member.

It's one of those days you have a craving for a bowl of Pho & Spring Rolls, it's been a 3-4 years since I & my late twin brother were here at UnPhogettable, so I and my wife Jen & friend Emily headed out, the food was great wish I could have finished everything but this diet I'm one has played a big part on my appetite so left overs are going home with me, the service was good, we were seated and served in a good time and we all enjoyed what was ordered, the restaurant is nice and plenty of room to move around with no issues. Another great plus it's in the Mekong Market so if any shopping is needed to be done for any of those items needed for any oriental dishes you make. So get out and give them a try if your into a good bowl of Pho.

Our group was missing unPhogettable's food. You're greeted as soon as you enter. We were seated quickly. It didn't take long and we all knew what we wanted. #7 was very popular. Pho (soup) with noodles with veggies & tofu. Two of those orders substituted shrimp for the tofu. They were happy to do the change. The others ordered bun (vermicelli) with pork. The shrimp allotment was very generous. There is an added fee for the substitution and well worth it. Excellent food with nice, helpful staff. They thanked us as we left too. Shared parking and WiFi in the plaza.

My aunt was served a bowl that was dirty on the outside (yes... the bowl, not just the table -- see the photo I attached). Not exactly appetizing... and she didn't eat it at all, it was completely untouched. We told the staff immediately, and instead of, I don't know.. like maybe apologizing or replacing it like a normal restaurant?.. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.

The first time I had it, I actually couldn't stop thinking about it because I was genuinely surprised with how good it was. I also noticed that they are very consistent with the taste of the broth. Usually when I get pho, the broth doesn't always taste the same but here at Saigon it does. The broth is very rich and savory. I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious. Every time I've gone there's never any wait. The service has also been great, I've had maybe 1 time where it wasn't as great but it was still good. The food always comes out fresh and very hot. Overall, I love this restaurant so much and I will continue coming back!

When I asked her to show me how she would charge the extra $3 she didn't know how (makes me believe she was lying over the cash price being lower). Being stranded in a hotel with no transportation leaves. You limited options for food. Lucky for me, there were a couple restaurants on the street. I had seen this place, but noted that it was only open Thursday through Sunday. So it was my lucky day to go there on a Thursday. From the street, the place doesn't look like much. It's located in a strip mall, with just a lonely sign at the top, and a couple of stone lions out front. Front. I really wasn't sure what to expect. But reading on Yelp The rave reviews that it got gave me hope for a great meal! Walking inside, the place is neat as a pin, very clean, with plenty of seating. Beer bar at the back of the room and a couple of TVs on the walls. The decor is very contemporary, and looks up to date. I had ordered a Thai iced tea and a water to start with. I was brought a plastic bottle of water and my Thai iced tea in a plastic cup. Not quite the restaurant experience I am used to, but you know what? It was. Okay. The Thai iced tea was very tasty and I could have drank at least three more of them. I had ordered the chicken wings, and of course I had to order them extra crispy. You get six wings, three drums and three flats, with some sauce on the plate for $12.99. for $12.99. they did not seem like they were extra crispy., and the breading on the wings I really couldn't identify. It seemed like it might be panko crumbs, but I wasn't really sure. Regardless, they were tasty. Were they the best ones I've ever had? No they were not. But they were pretty good for the price. I wish they would have put the sauce in a separate bowl on the side so that I could actually dunk the chicken wing in it rather than sort of wipe the plate with it, but that's just a small thing. I ordered the number 19 which was sliced steak in broth with rice noodles. The broth was really amazing, and the sliced steak was medium rare, and allowed to cook in the hot broth. The flavors were so good. So good. I actually drank all of the broth. Bottom line? I would totally hear again, there were so many things on the menu that I would have loved to try but did not get a chance to. If you are ever off main Street in Mesa, you would do well to come here for a nice, warm fine filling meal.
