I went hiking in one of my usual hiking spot but I had just bought a new car. Upon returning to my vehicle I saw that two of the windows had been broken. It was a Saturday around 12:30 and looking at the glass replacement options near me my options were very limited as everyone was closing around 2 and were closed on Sunday. My sister had gotten her car broken into on July 4th and had found this business, the only one who was open and willing to fix her window that day. So she gave me the number and luckily he had windows for me and could come in an hour and a half. He vacuumed the car and replaced both windows in about an hour and a half. I was very pleased to have my windows intact since the cat would have been at risk anywhere I went until then and as an essential worker I had to work the next day and park my car in a lot. Taking the car out, I realized the back window was rolling up slower than it should be. I was annoyed but it wasn't a huge deal. I called back and he agreed to come back on Monday and fix it for me at my place of work. Turns out the first window had a slight defect and he quickly replaced it with a new one that works perfectly. It didn't even take my whole lunch hour to fix. No charge obviously for fixing the issue. He was nice and I'm grateful that he is reliable and able to meet onsite as needed. I gave 5 stars even with the issue because he was reliable and didn't make things complicated or give me a hard time. I've had shops make mistakes and not fix it or make it a bigger hassle. This guy seems legit so I'd totally recommend it. The one thing you might or might not care about is that the windows will not have the same decals as the make of your car. Mine is a Honda and all the windows except those two have Honda decals on them. In my opinion, it's not a big deal. I didn't want to wait to get the windows somewhere else (the Honda dealership told me it would take a week and a half to my tonite window in stock!) I don't know if you can order the official glass through him, just a heads up for those who care. For those who don't, this is your guy! read more

7pm on a Friday night someone decides to bust out the glass of our Subaru and steal a backpack with wallet glasses medicine and other important documents.. Not only is this the worst possible time of day and day but also the location as we are away from home picking up our infant from childcare. We needed help fast. This review is very long over due. On two separate occasions last year, not even 4 months apart, my Jeep compass had the rear, along with the front, and rear passenger windows busted out in Oakland, of which, one was in front of my job in the parking lot, and the other was on a nearby street near a Korean Restaurant off of Broadway in Oakland. When the first time it happened, I didn't know what to do, on such short notice. I googled, and within the first 5 search results the company popped up. On both occasions, it was well past 9pm, and to my surprise, someone picked up, and responded to my request. I was very mesmerized by their professionalism, friendliness, literally showing up on time the very next morning, being the first appointment. To my astonishment, when 2 of my windows were busted up the second time, the owner literally called me back after I made the initial report, and said if he would like them to come that night? I was not prepared for that. Their prices are very affordable, and will work with you on negotiations as well. I do not like seeing anyone's misfortunes of a busted window, let alone mine. Moreso, if it ever happens, please give them a call. Give yourself, if you want to scope out their work, it normally takes, with travel time, approximately about a 2 hr window, and their service will not disappoint. So, it turns our that auto-glass replacement (as far as I can tell) is mostly smaller companies who find out what your car is, go get the glass, and come to you. Yes, you should get bids. No, being in a hurry on a Sunday is not going to work out that well! Out of the 5+ places I contacted on Yelp Kevin was (a) the only guy to answer, but (b) really hustled to get the job done. Hustled in a good way. As an Asian man I have to confess that I, initially, had my own "gee is this guy a rip off" feeling but that's my predisposition from our racist culture (long story). He's vietnamese and has an accent! My BS, not his. Kevin followed up with me, several times, did his best to be on time (I'm guessing it's a guessing game of where they get the glass and how) and showed me his work as he accomplished it. He taught me that he has TWENTY years of experience (he's recently out on his own) and that something as simple as getting the glass fragments out of the window actuator (the pulley system that moves the window) is a FAIL that some window repair folk don't do. I've opened up my share of car doors so I know what a delicate ecosystem it is - I'm impressed with Kevin's skill.
