I am perplexed how Uplift Property Management has received even 3 stars, given my own experience with their services. Since moving into our home in early May, my family and I have been met with ongoing issues that have turned what should have been an exciting transition into a frustrating ordeal. Upon moving in, we discovered the house was not clean--there was visible dirt, grime, and what appeared to be unsanitary conditions on the toilet seat. Despite providing photographic evidence and reporting these issues, we never received a follow-up or additional cleaning services. The garage was filled with a substantial amount of trash, and several repairs were needed, such as addressing problems with the master bathroom sink and shower. It took weeks for repairs to be scheduled, and many issues remain unresolved. The communication with Uplift Property Management has been a major concern. It has been exceedingly difficult to reach anyone by phone, and email responses are sporadic and unreliable. Promises made regarding yard maintenance and repairs have been repeatedly ignored. We were shown photos of a well-maintained backyard, yet the reality has been a dead yard, exacerbated by a broken sprinkler system. Despite assurances that these issues would be addressed, there has been no progress. Attempts to escalate our concerns have been met with disregard. Requests to speak with a supervisor or someone with decision-making authority have been ignored, leaving us feeling neglected and undervalued as tenants. This level of service is unprecedented in our collective rental history, and we have approached every interaction with professionalism and patience. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Uplift Property Management to prospective tenants or homeowners. The lack of effective communication, unfulfilled promises, and overall neglect reflect a level of service that falls far short of expectations. read more

My husband and I moved to Iowa last year and decided to rent out our condo. I was extremely nervous about renting out my home to complete strangers. I had called nearly 10 property management companies in the San Diego area and did not feel comfortable with any of them. Finally, a co-worker suggested Jensen Properties. Chris came out to our house a few days later, and he was so great that it felt too good to be true. His fees were significantly lower than other companies and his professionalism was scores above others.Needless to say, we decided to go with Chris because he seemed so great. THANK GOODNESS we did!! He has made this process so easy. He found great tenants very fast, tenants that take care of our house. He sends us a very detailed statement each month, which I appreciate. I have always heard of the horror stories of renting out your house, but Chris has done an amzing job and handled every situation without skipping a beat! Around Christmas, the hot water heater went out in our house. Chris called to let us know of the incident, but said not to worry that he would take care of everything. It was such a relief to know that someone that we trusted was right there taking care of this problem for us. Not only did Chris get everything fixed, but he called around to several companies to get the best quote for us. He really does go above and beyond for his clients. He is such a relief! I would absolutely refer Chris to anyone, anyday. He is truely a blessing to our journey. read more

Hi Chris, I actually posted it after giving you a terrible review in person to a colleague who was looking for a property manager and had heard of you. I felt compelled to share my experience more generally and perhaps save some people the experience of working with you. I do understand how property management lines of communication work. It's a bit more complicated when there is an existing line of communication that is actively encouraged by the owner. Regardless, these guidelines do not excuse the damaging and illegal behavior of your employee. Your unapologetic and irrelevant review response only further displays your misunderstanding of what goes on in your own business. Again, Jensen Properties is amateurism personified. Don't walk- RUN! We moved to Mesquite, NV in January of 2014. We rented a house in Mesquite with a property management company who was exceptional in our opinion. In December 20198, we decided to move to a condo handled by the Jenson Properties Management Co. We were sure we would not get the same treatment as we got from our first management because Jenson is a much bigger company. We have lived here for 6 months now and have never been so surprised and happy with this company. The staff is friendly, any requests for maintenance are handled in a expedient way, the Mesquite office staff is extremely professional. Lucy, Cindy and the front desk contact have always been friendly and cooperative. Because the unit needed a new refrigerator and range, the owners were contacted immediately and the units were replaced with brand new appliances. We are happy and recommend Jenson highly. read more

Soon I felt that this company is better than the previous one in many aspects of management. What impressed me in particular was their accuracy and efficiency in handling the financial issues and relationship between the HOA and us. For example, Tamara Torres-Bailey, Office Controller and Robin Allen, Portfolio Supervisor, have been entrusted by me to request HOA statements, pay additional HOA fee, correct HOA fee payment's record error made by HOA, and so on. I was referred to Jensen Properties by my Real Estate broker to assist with managing our multi unit rental properties. After having them handle one of our multi unit buildings, we were so happy that we are having them manage other properties now as well. Chris Jensen is great at his job. I have been so impressed with the quality and consistency of his property management skills. I have already referred him to several of my tax clients, and they have also been impressed. He has good contacts in the repair and maintenance arena, but allows me to hire my own contractors if I have a known vendor and he still supervises the work! His prices are very reasonable and his work ethic is strong. His promptness and overall knowledge of the ins and outs of property management issues are great. My wife and I are both new to renting. We moved cross country and didn't want to sell. Since we live cross country our ability to manage the property is limited. Chris Jensen has been a great property manager from the start. He does a great job listing the property, showing the property, and finding good tenants. I have been living at the Vista Bonita Apartments for some time and things have gotten so much better now that Jensen took over the management of the property. They were smart to keep Dawn on as manager. She is exceptional at her job of taking care of the community and its residents. In the last 2 years they have renovated the pool, built a jacuzzi, side by side gas grills by the pool, complete light upgrade, new laundry machines, new charcoal grill in picnic area. They are also upgrading the interiors of the units too. The place never looked so good!!! I highly recommend this management company. read more

We moved to San Diego in January. This is our first time to live in an apartment. When we did our walk-through, Taylor told us the things that would be repaired. I am so untrusting that I took pictures of everything, but she was true to her word, everything she said that would get repaired or replaced, was. When we put in work orders, they are quick to respond. Taylor does a good job of reminding folks of the community rules without being too heavy handed. The complex is always kept in good condition. He is a phenomenal people person who can get on the level of tenants to clear up communication and defuse problems when they arise. Peter was absolutely one of the nicest leasing agents I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Villa Del Cerro was beautiful. It was well maintained (which the maintenance guy is always on hand and friendly) and peaceful. As we walked through the property the residents were also very nice and friendly. The apt was so rad.
