I really enjoyed the Pho here today. Went in for lunch and they weren't busy so getting by a table was quick. The server took my order and the food came out relatively quick as well. The Summer Roll was wonderful I was happy to see they had options to order without pork. The rice paper and all ingredients were fresh. The Beef Pho was exceptional. Great flavor and good temperature to enjoy. I appreciated that the menu allowed for some selection on the Pho. I hardly ever finish an entire bowl and appreciated that I could order a small serving. Also, although I ordered a small serving, it was more than enough and I still had to take some to go. Lastly, the iced Vietnamese Coffee was the best! Super strong and delicious! It's been forever since I found find such a good Vietnamese Coffee. If you haven't been, come by. Really simple dinning space with a very customer friendly menu for ordering. read more

I wish I read the reviews before going but I am new to Columbus, still unpacking dishes, and wanted to try patrolling local business as opposed to a chain. I ordered the Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli...which was $17.50. I have had this dish in several major cities on the East Coast including Philadelphia and Atlanta and this was the most expensive dish. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't follow the price. While the tofu itself was reasonably well cooked/seasoned, it didn't taste what this dish is supposed to taste like. The dish also didn't include fried spring rolls which is pretty standard so I ordered some. I should have clarified with the hostess because the spring rolls I received weren't fried but fresh spring rolls (summer rolls). In any instance, that is my fault for not clarifying, and while they weren't what I expected the summer rolls were tasty. While I wouldn't order the vermicelli again, I might return for the summer rolls and to try the pho since the reviews for it seem to be a bit better. read more

We had some amazing food when we went here and I'm a pho snob! The portions are very generous and their broth is so delicious. I can't wait to come back next time we're in town. When we come back, I'd probably upgrade to the egg noodles, but I wanted to try the dish straight up so that I could get a good gauge of the place. The service was good and they handled the lunch rush like pros. They have a good selection of tables and booths and a great amount of seating space. My only complaint is that the door the bathroom has a big hole the bottom of it and you can see clear through to the other side (?!?!?). This place is as good as you're going to get in Columbus. Overall pho was good, spring rolls and eggrolls were tasty, wish there were refillable fountain drinks instead of cans. The peanut sauce was made in an odd mushy consistency, they added a filler which took away a lot of the peanut flavor and color. Our waitresses were good, there was one who provided better service than the other by coming to clear our table to make room and refill waters. Food and entrees could be made better since the menu is small and the pho broth needs more flavor. One thing to take note of is the extremely large bowl when getting the combo pho, there is only one size and could be shared between two people. The place was busy so the service was okay for how busy the restaurant was but what stopped me from the 5 star rating is that their prices are too high for the food they're serving. $7 for the sandwich is too much and $14 for a bowl of pho is just too much. They did have a prices were going to be higher notice on the front of their menu so I was comparing it to their old menus on here on help with would have been a bit higher which I was 1000% okay with but when I go to pay, I not only paid higher prices then their older menu but higher prices than their current menu as well. I have eaten a lot of pho at a quite few places over the years. I was a little skeptical when I learned of this Columbus gem, but figured I would give it a shot. I was wholly overwhelmed by this restaurant. Both the service and the food were amazing. In fact, this was possibly in the top 3 or 4 of my lifetime pho experiences. I had the Pho Tai Nam Ve, and an order of spring rolls (shrimp). Both servers worked as a team and repeatedly checked on my needs. My waitress was "Issa Bear", according to the check. I live about 35 minutes away from Uptown Vietnam Cuisine and only came here because Pho Lee in Auburn was closed today (Christmas Eve). But I'm so glad it was because Uptown's pho was easily one of the best I've ever had. I just moved to the area a week ago so I'm still scoping out all of the pho joints. Initially, when the waitress brought the bowls of pho out for my mother-in-law and I, I didn't have high expectations. But holy crap. After a few bites, I wish I would've ordered a large bowl instead of a small!! My 21 month old daughter even tore her bowl of soup up with one egg roll. I saw some of the previous reviews about bad customer service and that might've unfortunately been due to a busy time. But I experienced some of the best customer service today at this establishment. Best place for pho or Vietnamese food in Columbus, period. Everything is super flavorful and the pho broth does not need any extra hoisin (and I'm a hoisin sauce girl). Shrimp spring rolls were perfect with the right amount of meat and noodles, not just filler. They actually give peanut sauce for dipping! Found this place while looking up Asian food locations in downtown Columbus. I appreciate finding foods that fill that craving and this time it happened to be Vietnamese food. We were a party of three including a 1 year old. Yes, high chairs and booster seats are available! For this being our first time in the area it was a little hard to find but the giveaway was the boba signage on the side of the establishment before reaching the entrance. We ordered fresh spring roll (I'm used to it being with shrimp but I was told you can replace the protein with beef or pork), grilled beef banh mi, beef pho, a chicken basket (small chicken nuggets and fries) for the little one. Though he had a hankering for everything on my plate. Service was honestly fantastic (for a late Friday afternoon before the concert series in the area). I didn't catch the name of our server but she was very helpful and nice. The food itself was ok- we were able to get our fix and for that our bellies were quite satisfied (plus our little one didn't finish his food so we ate from his plate). The server recommended several selections since I had not been to this location before. The pho was very good and that was the reason I went. I ordered the large, which was 32 ounces of broth plus noodles and three different types of meat. I opted for ribeye, flank and meatballs. I was not disappointed, in fact I was quite pleased. The broth was flavorful and they brought out sprouts, cilantro, jalapeño, and three different types of chilis to spice it up so I could make it my own. Once I had it all to my liking, it was game on. My husband and I visited this place yesterday. We ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls which I highly recommend, the egg rolls are made with pork which I'm not a fan of, but these were AMAZING! The great thing about this place is that you can choose 3 different meats in your pho. The small is a good size, My husband and I were definitely full after eating mine. My husband ordered his with brisket, steak, & flank. I ordered mine with steak and chicken. This is top of the line pho for us. My husband loved the chicken pho and my bun bowl was tasty! The service was good and the place was clean. They gave quite a bit of greens for the soup too.
