Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of happy diners inside and outside, it just means they can keep up with the crowd! We placed our order quickly and picked a nice table outside on their heated patio. The food arrived shortly after we were seated. It was fresh and delicious! I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the avocado and beets bowl. Both were on the $10 meal menu and both were 100% worth it. My chicken was flavorful and the bread is just amazing. My husband was very happy with his avocado bowl. This restaurant reminded me of other casual dining chains but I have to say, this one is one of the best at the most affordable price. He knows the menu well and was able to answer questions with patience and accurately so that we would get the best dinner for our group. This was my first trip here even though I drive by each day. It was nice to have a large menu outside to look at prior to coming in. There was plenty of seats inside and on the patio. The options are nice and the calorie vs protein plates are very clear. I had the braised beef with mushrooms. I was a bit disappointed because my plate was lacking beef (3 small pieces) but what I did have was good flavor. There are places for you to get your own silverware etc. the service was very friendly and quick with good quality. They offer a monthly deal for $10 a month plates are $11 or less but seem to be lacking details on the app or in person so I didn't sign up. I will return to try other options.. Haven't been to this location in over like 5 years. The food was still amazing. The atmosphere was cool, not packed, & clean. The customer service was GREAT! I didn't catch the young man's name at the register but I went in today 6/9/24 at around 5:20-5:30 checkout time. The receipt said "Ali" but I'm not sure if it's him. He was super friendly l, Happy vibes, he was sweet to my child, he helped me calm him down during a meltdown with a chocolate chip cookie. A mistake or deception. It is common for self-pay registers to have a pop-up screen asking what percentage of service to add to the tab: 15%, 18%, or 20%. I chose to add a 15% tip to a subtotal of $57.99, which already included an unexplained 3% surcharge. Guess what? It added a $9.37 tip, and it wasn't 15%--it was 16.15%. The tip amount was calculated based on the subtotal of the ordered food plus the unexplained surcharge and "Sales Tax." Even the IRS defines the tip as being based on the subtotal before sales tax.
