I miss the old Urban Plates. Tonight, I took my friends to this spot, hyping up how good it was, and left extremely disappointed. I understand, as most restaurants have had to change their business model to adapt to the times, but the experience was so much different to what it was back then. You are not allowed to walk around the L shape line to to see your food being made in front of you. Instead, you are left to go to the front cashier where you have to select your items from a TV Menu that has microscopic font. The menu was extremely hard to read and the TV just seemed super cluttered. I ordered the steak plate with mash potatoes and a side of charred broccoli and boy was it underwhelming. The steak was "medium rare" but had the texture of beef jerky. There was little to no seasoning and it was rather dry and cold. The mash potatoes were close and bland. The charred broccoli were also cold and very mushy. Overall, I was super disappointed in the quality of food and the change of concept. Also it was super pricey: one plate and one salad with a lemonade for 54 dollars is an absolute travesty. I understand inflation, but if the quality of the food is not up to par, it does not justify the outrageous price. Only reason why this is a two star is because the gentleman ringing us up in the front was very cordial and hospitable. I do not normally write reviews like this, but this was just an absolute dud. Will no longer be coming back to any UP. read more

I love the chimichurri steak. It's amazing and all of their sides are also great. Service is awesome. Parker at the front end was able to answer our questions and was super patient and friendly. Wow there's so much on the menu and totally thought this would be better as a brunch spot, but it does serve well for dinner. We were able to sit in front of the fire pit with heated lamps outside, well distanced with other guests. We were able to order premium wine with our entree. Loved everything ordered, it was a healthy hearty meal. Service was great, hand sanitizers were in every corner. Must have Watermelon, Pineapple, Mint Basil drink- super amazing Salmon on top of Antioxidant Salad- Did you know you can customized your dish? Instead of Salmon Ceasar Salad, decided to replace with Antioxidant Salad and was super delicious. Wild Caught Ahi the Ahi was fresh, side order beets were tasty with the goat cheese, and loved the fresh Brussel sprouts as 2nd side. I regret that I wasn't able to order dessert but will be coming back soon. read more

A pretty safe choice to eat at or bring friends to. It has a great variety of items on the menu that can appeal to many. I love the option to choose your own sides to create a custom plate and at a decent price. I only gave this 4 stars because the last time I came, the food was pretty cold. This place was where I ordered my first real meal after giving birth to my son almost 2 weeks ago. I had to go on a "red meat, high iron" diet due to some blood loss during the delivery and I am so glad I decided to try this place out. The flank steak I got was delicious I wish I had more. The sides I got were the broccolini and rice pilaf. Both good but the spices on the veggie were too much for me at the time. All in all, I will be returning in the future to enjoy more meals read more

I have been here multiple times, Abraham the front counter host, was very professional, funny and very helpful, showed us new menu items that I was not aware of. I normally order the chimichurri grass-fed steak and have yet to be disappointed. The food here is outstanding as well as the customer service. The dining setting has a nice dim-lit setting with very comfortable seating. I recommend people to atleast try this place once! read more

A beautiful establishment with excellent service and delicious, home-cooked style food with obviously fresh ingredients. After a pretty sub-par visit, we were invited back by Alex. P and were pretty much blown away. I got the tuna steak roasted carrots and beets, and mac n cheese with focaccia plate. We also got the salmon (came with a delicious mustard aioli and mashed potatoes. Was under $30 for both full size plates. Everything was perfect, down to the seasonings and portion sizes. The mac and cheese and potatoes were creamy and delicious.
