Amazing food & great service from DeKayla and all of the staff. Our first time here but it won't be the last. My husband was truly impressed with garlic shrimp & parmesan butter, Herb roasted Marble potatoes and. Rainbow carrots with beats. I enjoyed the chicken with roasted Brussel sprouts and goat cheese beet salad so much I could have licked the plate if no one had been watching. The location is great with validated parking to the rear. They had a menu displayed with pictures of their awesome dishes. Placing the order was a breeze and there was plenty of seating available in the nicely decorated eating areas. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. This place has so many fresh and delicious sides, entrees, salads, etc. that it often takes a while to figure out what you want to eat. Don't be afraid to ask to try samples of things too--everyone is always very friendly and willing to help. I got: Veggie tofu curry: I was worried it'd feel heavy, but it was actually a light and hearty meal with brown rice cooked just right. Carrots and beets: This was very tasty, though I felt like it was a tad oilier than I'd like. Flavor was spot on and the carrots/beets were cooked beautifully so that it was just a tad crispy on the inside. Chocolate coconut cookie (gluten free): I loved this! There was a whole ton of ooey gooey chocolate and texture was nice and chewy. It's rare that I like sweets, but this one was definitely a winner! Almond macaroon: Very almondy and slightly crumbly. It was too sweet for me, but I can see some people with a sweet tooth loving this. I'm definitely a fan and would not mind coming back again! read more

All I tasted in my mouth was burnt chunks of charcoal. not happy about the fact that they would serve this. We really enjoy eating at Urban Plates. The meal was great and the beer was ice cold. Sophia, who took our order was nice and courteous. My only complaint is that the fries and bread weren't brought with our daughter's meal and the fries were really small for paying $2 extra with my own meal.
