Saw all the great reviews so decided to come give it a try. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. She was very polite and helpful. Our food came out very fast, probably within 5 minutes. I ordered the Californian which is a vegetarian sandwich that comes with artichoke. It was kind of plain to me, very average. I definitely don't think it's $8 worth. I decided to substitute my side salad with a cup of tortilla soup for an extra $3. The soup was really good, tasted like it was homemade. My husband ordered the tri tip sandwich and he gave it a 4 out of 5. It was a decent size sandwich with enough meat in it to fill him up. He decided to substitute his side salad for chips for $.50. We also ordered a few cookies. I would say that's my favorite thing there. They were freshly baked, soft and warm. I'll probably be back to try the other items on the menu. read more

My rating is to stay 5 stars unless I have a bad experience. The food here is incredible at a reasonable price. The portions seem slightly larger than what one person could eat which I enjoy for leftovers. Such a small but clean and quiet location. It gets very busy during lunch time but it's worth the rush! Sandwiches aren't my first choice meal option when I am HUNGRY but boy, did this place fill me up! A friend recommended this place to me and I was already in the neighborhood. I got the chimichurri steak sandwich and it was so delicious! It has the chimichurri steak, arugula, feta cheese, and urbane chutney aioli. It comes in focaccia bread that is so soft. I think the chimichurri with the urbane cafe aioli is the perfect blend of sweet and savory! The sweet isn't too overwhelming but it's enough so that you notice it. I think the pairing of the sandwich with the side salad is also refreshing. The side salad is mixed greens with a balsamic dressing and mandarin oranges. You have to try this! So this was my first time here. The food is complicated for no real reason. They have pears on salads and beets and raisins. I'm more so a chicken, bacon and ranch dressing type of gal. Loved this place. It's a chill place to have lunch with a friend. There's a big community table and a couple small tables. The bread is homemade right in front of you and there are cookies being warmed behind the counter. The variety of sandwiches pretty good. I love this Urbane Cafe location. It is very clean, well-run, the staff friendly, and the ingredients fresh. You always know what to expect when you go to this Urbane Cafe. I usually order the Tri Tip Banh Mi Sandwich which is something you must try if you are a fan of Korean food like I am. It is made of Korean style tri tip, pickled fresno chili, pickled radish mix, gochujang chili aioli, and cilantro. Very spicy and flavorful--a good fusion of Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. I would also recommend the Pesto & Sundried Tomato sandwich. Though it doesn't have the kick of the Tri Tip Banh Mi Sandwich, it is still very flavorful, made of pesto chicken, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, and pesto aioli. It is a good choice if you are in the mood for Italian food. I have tried several of their menu items, and they are all excellent, but these two sandwiches stand out most to me, and I would recommend them to everyone. read more

Wish there was a little more salad on the side because the house dressing is delicious. It's like a raspberry vinaigrette if I had to describe it. The thing though that I'm not a fan about is the bread. It doesn't great, good but not great when compared to Stone Oven's which I really like. Maybe if it was toasted a little it would be better. I just expected them to give a refund back, but they offered something for free also. 1. Pesto & sundried tomato sandwich ($7.95): comes with roasted pesto chicken, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, green leaf lettuce, pesto aioli. It was pretty good! I'd definitely come back and get it again. The vegetables were fresh and it's a healthy, yet filling sandwich! 2. Cheese pizza kids meal ($4.75): comes with side salad, fruits, or chips. I got the fruits and they were very fresh. I don't like pizza and I hate cheese so idk why I ordered it. I ended up taking all the cheese off of the pizza. It was too oily. Urbane Cafe does a nice job of blending good tasting food with a large portion to leave you satisfied (unlike some places you pay more for and are left hungry). I recommend trying any of their salad offerings, especially the Cilantro Chicken salad. Their soups of the day have been nice as well. The bread is baked fresh and flavorful. Since I frequented the Starbucks a few doors down prior to Urbane opening, I watched them build this place from the ground up. They did an excellent job with the decor!
