on what to order while waiting in line so, that you do not hold up the line or feel rushed when it is your turn. Today everyone in my party ordered the same dish. We got the mushroom omelette. As far as I could tell. It had mushrooms in it, cheese and onions. On the side, we got hash brown and two slices of French baguette with butter. It also comes with a salad, but it really, is just one Leaf of lettuce and one slice of tomato. In other words, not much of a salad at all. It looks more like a garnish than a salad. The omelette was pretty good. The hash brown came in the form of two potato cakes and were OK. We wanted them crispy, but they tasted more like boiled potatoes. For beverage, I got the café pistachio, which is sort of a pistachio latte. It was really good. Just lightly sweet. Just the way that I like it. In conclusion. The food was good minus my hash brown. I enjoyed my coffee and everyone liked their dishes. The space is beautiful and has a good energy to it. Everyone is friendly. The Service is really good and prices are average. So, overall we had a good experience. I recommend Urth Café

Everytime I drove by here, there is a line out to the door and the side walks seating areas are alway packed. And I drove by here for decades and haven't go in yet since the line is too long. Since we're in the area on Sunday late afternoon, we decided to check it out. Located right at the DT of Orange old town circle and right at the corner. There is a line out to the door as usual, but it moved quickly, with no 15-20mins. ALOT of seating areas for sure. The place is quite HUGE, clean, spacious airy since they have high ceiling and got both side of the street. Big menu and great cakes displace case. Took us at least 5mins to study the menu since it a lot to take in, especially on Sunday.

the days watching people & car passing by. Foods came out within 15-20mins which is not bad, especially with packed house. They are well known for cafes and desserts and it's true, the napoleon is not as sweet as I though it would be, and it huge - it can be shared with 2-3 people for sure. The toast is huge and greatly tasty and creamy. The lasagna was not bad. Didn't quite read the whole thing since it got me at lasagna (thought it would be meaty & cheesy one), but not bad for veggie version. My kid ate it all w/ the salad, which is refreshing and well make dressing. Bread was okey, it just soft both outside to inside. Cafe was quite good but abit too sweet for me...great place with great lively vibe for sure. I know it's a chain and they have several locations, including in Las Vegas but at this location, it feels more of homey and neighborly place to hangout and enjoy a good cup of great coffee with friends, families or just solo.

Urth Caffé in Orange is hands down the best place in the area for breakfast. The food and coffee are always excellent, but what really sets this place apart is the customer service. We had a small issue during our visit, and Brian completely turned the experience around. Instead of just fixing the problem, he took the time to make sure we left happy and feeling appreciated. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares that much about the customer experience. Anyone can serve great food, but it's how a business handles things when something doesn't go perfectly that shows its true character. Brian made what could have been a disappointing visit into a great experience, and that's exactly why we keep coming back. If you're looking for an amazing breakfast with outstanding service, Urth Caffé in Orange is the place to go. Thank you, Brian, for going above and beyond!

Brunch date on a Sunday morning in Old Town Orange and had a lovely time. The weather was nice and it was amazing to be surrounded by friendly people. I actually moved to the City of Orange in my early 20s during MY college days and IMO at that time, it was truly a retirement town. It was always peaceful where traffic was at a minimal and everyone's bedtime was by 10pm. I recalled being a typical Asian woman driver and always went the wrong direction at the roundabout. Things have changed so much since then. My own son has already graduated from college and now accompanies me going to that same roundabout, except now there's a lot more nicer restaurants and bars. We made our way to Urth Cafe and it wasn't as busy as I had expected, especially when compared to the locations in L.A. and Pasadena. I personally think this is my favorite location so far because it actually feels cozier (my son said the same about the cozy vibe). We both ordered an Omelette - mine was a Pesto Chicken with cheese. I actually requested to not have Goat cheese on mine but it came with it - so that was as why I had to remove 1 star out of 5 :( My Chicken soup tasted marvelous and my Latte was beautifully crafted. It was a great Sunday and I was so glad my son also had a great time!

I'm a big fan of Urth Caffé--the food is consistently good, and the overall vibe is amazing. The location at the Orange Circle is one of my favorites. Sitting outside and watching people pass by gives it such a lively, relaxed atmosphere. Parking can be a bit challenging, especially during busy times, but there are paid parking options nearby now, which definitely helps. Just be prepared for a long line when ordering--it can get pretty crowded--but honestly, the experience and quality make it worth it.

First, I love this location compare to other Urth Caffe because it's spacious and conveniently located in old town Orange. Service is a bit slow because we did not receive our drinks till half way finished our order. Food was delicious though. Ordered the chicken curry sandwich, Urth farmer's salad, matcha rose latte, and Caffé pistachio. Liked the face they let you choose the intensity of coffee. I ordered the strong one and it was good!

We'd been here one other time on a previous Cali visit but all we got was coffee and a pastry. This time, we went during lunch time to see if their food was just as good (spoiler, it's even better). We came in when the line was to the door, which moved pretty steadily despite that. They have complimentary water dispensers, one regular and one with fruit in it. This was great for refilling our water bottles before leaving. The service at the counter was great and the prices for the food seemed accurate (considering there are organic and local ingredients). We sat down and waited about 15 minutes for our food.. perfect. As shown, the servings for evening was hearty and that's exactly what we both needed! The pancakes were the BEST I've ever had, and that's saying a lot coming from me. I wish there was an Urth in Arizona so so badly, because we'll miss the food a lot. I also had another encounter at Urth when we ordered some to the hotel. Unfortunately, our driver brought someone else's food, but after calling Urth they still had my order so I drove down and picked it up. Let's just say, their green juice is killer.. 10/10 across the board

I've been to my fair share of trendy cafés, so walking into Urth Caffé didn't exactly shock me... but I will say, it still knows how to put on a show. The vibe is undeniably cute. Every corner feels curated, the crowd is very "students with laptops and iced drinks," and even the indoor seating had this warm, almost cinematic feel to it. Unfortunately, I didn't get to fully soak that part in because the experience quickly turned into a bit of a chaotic food journey. Let's talk about the order situation, because wow. Somehow, we ended up getting our dessert first, then a smoothie, and then finally the pizza. I wish I could say it was part of some artistic dining experience, but no, it was just confusing. By the time the margarita pizza came out, it felt like the emotional climax of a very disorganized story. And honestly, it took way too long for something that simple. It got to the point where we had to get up and check on it ourselves, which kind of breaks the whole relaxed café illusion they're going for. I get that it's busy, and trust me, it is busy, but there's a difference between high energy and just feeling overlooked. That being said, I can't sit here and pretend the place doesn't have charm. It absolutely does. The vibe is strong, the people-watching is top tier, and if you're the kind of person who doesn't mind a little unpredictability in service, you'll probably still enjoy yourself. Just come prepared. Come with patience, come knowing it's going to be packed, and maybe don't expect your meal to follow any traditional timeline. We were here mid-Easter morning. Urth is a cool-vibe place and, remarkably, had plenty of seating given the number of people who were there. The line went quickly and the cashiers had excellent knowledge of the offerings. I ordered the D'Lox toast , which was very good. Plenty of lox and fixings. I wasn't a fan of the English buckwheat toast crust, but enjoyed the bread itself (I'd never tried this type of bread before, and was raised to try everything once, so no regrets). The Spanish Latte is one of the specialties. It was really satisfying and whatever the mystery ingredient is kept me guessing and interested. My husband had the dark house coffee, which he really liked, and the sausage and potato omelette and accompanying salad was a hit. I asked one of the staff for coffee bean recommendations. He suggested the house dark for my husband, the house light, for my son, and another type for a friend when I told him their preferences. He really listened. We returned today and I had a killer mushroom omelette. I had a cup of the house light, which, if you like light coffee, is very good. My husband had the Italian omelette and the dark coffee, and he was very happy with both. When you're in SoCal, don't miss out.

I'm sad that I didn't take a picture of the delicious Pecan Pie we got but I did get one of this yummy honey vanilla latte. It was strong and just the right amount of sweetness. The service was quick for the large amount of consumers they had. All staff were super sweet which made the experience real nice. I went back to Urth Café for brunch today for the first time after a long while. This location is at the Orange Circle in old town Orange. There is lots of parking near and around the restaurant but it is a very busy area. So, you may have to park on one of the adjacent streets. The restaurant is in a historical building that dates back to the 1800's. The interior has an industrial charm and Victorian elegance like most buildings in that part of town. The interior has High ceilings, exposed brick walls, artisan tilework, and wrought iron accents. There is lots of indoor seating as well as outdoor sidewalk seating with market umbrellas. I Love the big Island with high chairs where you sit around the island top fire pit. It is a cozy, and social friendly arrangement. The restaurant is loud and vibrant creating a warm, bustling atmosphere. As you arrive, you are most likely to find a line. It's always a good sign that the place is packed when I got there. The service was efficient despite the long line. We sat outside which had a nice European cafe vibe. I just love how this place looks at night. It looks so romantic and nostalgic. I had people from my past coming here to have a lunch date with their friends and/or family. I've been here on many occasions to get drinks, meals, or pastries from this place on a number of occasions. The servers here are nice. The place is wonderful. This place is so popular that the lines always stretch out to the door everyday. I also love their matcha aloha drinks. The blue spirulina in the drink makes it so lovely. It's so good. They even have a billboard by the restrooms that tells you info about their meals and other good things about Urth Caffe. One of the things posted on the bulletin board was that Urth Caffe had recently opened a new location in Qatar. I have an online friend who lives in Qatar, and I was telling her about Urth Caffe and this new location in Qatar. I also told her about how good the drinks and meals are. She told me that she was glad it's in her city and she will take the metro to this new location.

Since their grand opening 2 months ago, Urth has been packed. In my opinion, it's exactly the type of place central OC has been missing and needed for miles around. You can go if you're in the mood for just great dessert, just coffee, something healthy, something filling, by yourself, with friends, morning, day or night. Yes, it's taking some time to work out the kinks. Ugh, that line to order that snaked out the door into the cold has not been fun. And then cashiers have still been getting up to speed. The ordering process is what took the longest as the cash registers are jammed close together, the menu is quite large, and cashiers were struggling. Kudos to the management for already making changes to the ordering process. The last time we went, there was an additional cashier taking orders on a tablet while you wait in line, which did save some time. Your order delivery to your table has been rather sporadic. You carry your own dessert to your table but then might be waiting 15 min or more for your coffee or food order to be delivered. We've enjoyed every dessert and creative hot drink we've tried so far here and there are tons more items to explore. That Coconut Custard Pie might be one of the plainest looking desserts in the display case, but it is AMAZING! Yes, there's still room for improvement with order placing and order delivery, but this is still currently our favorite place when we're not in a rush. read more

Went for the first time. Line was around 12 deep. Not a long wait. Employees were helpful and courteous. Ordered the Marguerite pizza and quiche. Very flavorful! Ordered came out fairly quick. Restaurant was clean and very cool decor. read more

It was my first time here; I've been eager to try it because of how good the food looks despite the pricy cost. I got the Panini Roasted Turkey and the New York Cheesecake (for dessert). They were both good!They ran out of the bread it usually comes with so I just got whole wheat bread. My friend asked for the lasagna but they somehow ran out?? I don't understand how they were able to run out of so many things.. ALSO, we came for dinner and I hate that they don't offer the egg dishes after 2 pm. I really wanted to try the Eggs Salmone but the lady said that's only offered at breakfast/brunch. The male cashier was rushed and not as friendly as he should have been. The prices are definitely too high for most of the dishes that can be made at home (e.g., the avocado toast ~ $12?). If you're a basic rich white girl who only wants to go for the aesthetics and take pictures, then I guess this is your place lol read more

The hubby and I decided to do an early lunch to beat the crowd and we only waited for 5-7 minutes to order at around 11:15 am. I had the prosciutto panini and it was pretty good. Thanks for my fellow Yelpers for recommending the blended green tea boba. It was sooo good. My husband doesn't even like green tea flavored things, but he really liked this boba. We also ordered the Oreo cheesecake and it was pretty good as well. I wouldn't say it was the best cheesecake we've had, though. The customer service was great. The servers were all really nice and they came around making sure we had everything we needed. A bit pricey? Yes, but it's good food, great service, and an awesome location right in the Orange Circle. read more

Expensive but tasty. The butternut ricotta pizza is a winner, not thin or too small, but maybe 6-8 inches wide and almost an inch thick; enough for dinner for one. A friend had the falafel, and he claimed it to be good, though at over $17 for the plate, I can't say I'd get it. The chocolate hazelnut cake is delicious and priced fairly well for it's size, 6 inches wide, maybe 3 inches tall, and enough for 2 to 4 people. My daughter had the grilled cheese, which had strawberries and bananas as a side. She enjoyed the grilled cheese, which is something considering her pickiness. One curious thing about the banana, it tasted more like a cucumber and was like a black hole of moisture, as anywhere the banana touched was instantly bone dry. The place is lively and gets quite busy, but it's good for anything from a simple coffee to a fine dinner and high quality dessert. read more

So I've given this location a third opportunity to get it together, however, I have to say it's the worst Urth Cafe of the chain. Let me be very clear - the kitchen knows what they're doing, but the service is pathetic!!! They don't care how long the line is, they'll just have one person working the register taking their sweet time at taking orders. In fact, I saw the manager walk by several times and she appeared to have no interest in recognizing the slow service. This particular location is not worth the visit. read more

I forgot all about this new location until last sunday when I met a friend there. It's in the heart of Orange Circle so the location is great:! I was there on a Sunday at 8:30am and there was no wait. There are quite a few table outside to enjoy the great weather with umbrellas for the sun and then heat lamps for later in the day. The tables are for 2 by 2 but we moved a few chairs together which was nice. The inside was very quaint and nicely decorated as well. You order in the cue and then you pay. The ordering process I think still needs some work. There was only 3 parties ahead of me but they that awhile. You can order on the pad and give them your name. Then you go to the cashier give them your name and pay. Could be a little more efficient but what can you do. The food is good as always. Very quaint location and will definitely be popular. Less crowded then the Laguna location but it's not by the beach either. I tried the 2eggs, salad, and bread for breakfast this time. Will be back. read more

Atmosphere wise it's nice and cozy with good air conditioning. I had a blended ice coffee called the Spanish latte granita strong italia. I'm extremely impressed with it. It is not as sugary like candy as Starbucks frapachinos. It's got a hint of some sweetness but a whole lot of flavor and cream. Perfect amount of bitterness and completely refreshing. Isaac, the AGM, is the best! He is one of the best AGMs I've ever met (and I have been one myself). The food is up to par every time we come here. On the weekends, expect longer wait times. Update #3: It's been ONE HOUR since ordered my food and my drink (sunrise matcha latte) still has not come out. The girl keeps telling me she's the only one making drinks and they're backed up yet everyone else who has come after me has gotten their drink. ONE HOUR and still no coffee yet. Somehow my drink ticket was the THIRD one in line out of 6 total drink tickets an hour later. Told the girl making the coffee TWICE and she kept offering a refund to which I said NO I want my coffee. You don't get to give me refund and be off the hook. 20 mins after complaining twice post the one hour mark, after patiently watching 5 other tables, and at least 7 cups of lattes being served to people who just barely sat down, I marched over to the coffee counter again and asked where my coffee was and for some reason my ticket keeps getting moved back toward the end of the line of food tickets. So I stood there and demanded they make my coffee right now and watched them while they made it because that was the only way I can ensure they were going to make it. Utterly ridiculous that 1.5 hours after paying for my food and watching several dozen lattes being served, my drink order keeps getting bypassed. A previous time my drink ticket was trashed altogether and they didn't realize it until I went over and asked where my drink was 40 mins later. This is a serious issue read more

Their newest location is just as popular as any of the others. Expect lines around the building, with a very long wait right now. Our coffee was wonderful, we didn't have a chance to try any food this time just because they were so full. Service was friendly, and the quality of their items as a parent. Prices are fair and the food we saw looked very delicious, we will have to come back and try that next time. Great addition to the area, worth checking out! read more

A typical brunch restaurant. There are many egg-cellent options to choose from depending on what you're craving. I was craving something savory so I got the breakfast burrito. It includes eggs, black beans, guacamole, cheese, and salsa. It came with a red salsa which was not the best. I enjoyed it but not as much as I enjoyed the beef hash. So so so yummy! The beef was nice and tender and the egg was perfect. I wish the bread wasn't as hard and was softer. My cousin ordered the mushroom omelette with no sausage. A couple bites into it she realized that there was sausage. They gave her the wrong order. Mistakes happen that's ok so they switched it out for her. The French toast was a good sweet transition, but I recommend eating it as soon as it comes out. The green tea boba without the boba was yummy! A bit too sweet but that's how they make it so yolo. read more

For as good as the quality of food and drinks are here, the overall experience is pretty bad. The odious process of getting served, the curt attitude of the cashiers, the long wait times in line and then the wait for your order to arrive are all issues that undercut the experience of this restaurant. I went there today after not having gone into the place in more than a year and thought, ah, NOW I remember why I never come here... . Interior: 5 stars (it's nice inside) Food: 2 Stars, it was ok food. Over priced avocado toast. Service: 1 Stars, horrible service. We waited a long time for our food. Our friends ordered right in front of us and they got their food and ate it before we even got our food. Our lattes came in after our meal. I wouldn't recommend this location. This place is POORLY managed. They have one barista staffed for a Friday night. Not her fault but terrible for the customer experience. 20 min wait for a small decaf almond milk latte and my husband's coffee came out in 2 min. Not sure why they don't have a handle on getting the orders for the same party out at the same time. The staff at the register weren't smiling and there was one person particular who was rude to us. Ambiance is cute but way too loud. If they don't improve the process and speed, they'll miss out on returning customers. read more

Standing here waiting for our food. Ordered over 40 minutes ago. Paid over 30 minutes ago. Stood in line 10 minutes before ordering. Normally I'd understand on a Saturday morning. But this is pretty absurd. We ordered to go. When we got to the cashier she rang it up for eating here. So we asked her if we can get it to go. She mentioned something over the radio. I asked one of the supervisors how long it would be and he said he'd check. He came back and said they're working on it. We're still waiting here. We've now just been at this place for over an hour and still no food. It's highly unlikely we'll come back. read more

I came here because of the rave reviews I have heard about Urth in the past. I was not let down, the D'Lox pizza was everything I had imagined. The salmon was so fresh and a perfect combo on the pizza. The lasagna, I believe had eggplant in it and was perfect! I loved the ice green tea with boba, they make their boba fresh so make sure you stir! read more

This Urth cafe branch is the best! It's two floors spanning half a block. HUGE. Bigger than any other Urth cafe branch I've been to. Better than any Urth cafe branch I've been to and I've been to good ones - flagship Beverly Hills shop, Santa Monica, heck even LAX. The pastries are to die for.... small beautiful cakes perfect for sharing. Coffees and teas are high quality and organic. Interiors are beautiful, with a kind of Spanish theme. I like that people come here to chat over coffee, so you have a nice vibe to it, instead of a bunch of people silent on their laptops. At night, the lighting is perfect. It's intimate and romantic that I think it's perfect for a date. Try their regular espresso-based coffee like latte and cappuccino, or their popular signature ones such as Spanish coffee (sweet, with a hint of cinnamon). read more

Meet up with my friends since this is close by at my work. I love this place better than LA location since this is more wider and there's a plenty of space. I suggest for brunch if you don't want to wait in line come around 6am-8am (there's barely line) we went here around 8am they took our order really quick and less than 20 minutes we got our order. Around 8:30am people are starting to line up. Food great. Coffee good. It has oat milk, which I'm a huge fan of and is still tricky to get at other restaurants. But the service is a abysmal. I kept from writing this review for a long time. I'm down in Orange for work a lot and find myself at "the Circle" often. I remember when they were building the Urth, I was such a fan of the ones up in LA that I thought it would be a good fit. Yet every time I've come, including my first visit. My simple order of a decaf coffee with oat milk has either taken at least 15 mins or been completely forgotten. My food orders have suffered the same fate, whether I eat in or take away. I have no doubt that it gets busy and the staff might be under siege, but after a few months of poor service, once to the point where someone behind the coffee counter insisted they gave me a coffee when they didn't, I feel compelled to write and say that that I can't recommend it has an eating experience unless you have a lot of patience and free time. I hate to write like one of those needless bashing Yelpers but I held off as long as I could. Yet, I always see long lines and happy faces so I have a feeling this won't be addressed any time soon. If you're in Orange near the circle, and hankering some coffee, breakfast or lunch. I recommend all the other coffee spots and restaurants around. Filling Station, Kimmies, Pandor, and Aussie Bean to name a few. I also still recommend the Urths up in LA, this particular one is just not worth the time. read more

their fucking icecream was lactose free intolerent and they said it wasnt. It also tasted like it came sugar free. Also they serve fake ass french toast. that shit comes in loafs, uncut 0/10. They gave me pizza and there was seaweed inside of it. they didnt say that there was seaweed in that. also it had way too much cheese. Their service was alright. They gave me a pitchfork for a fork, it only had 3 teeth and it was for the pizza. THE FAKE FORK WAS FOR THE PIZZA!!! ambiance was crappy. read more

This is one of my all time favorite places because I know I can never go wrong here. Their food is always fresh and delicious, the coffee and drinks are so amazing and the desserts are crave worthy. The ambiance is comforting and relaxing and the employees are friendly and helpful. I like that you can wait in line to see all the desserts in the glass case while you wait to order and see the coffees and assorted beverages being created. Then you can sit down relax on a solo visit, chat with your friends or family while waiting for your food or beverage and they bring your entree to your table. The newest Urth Caffe just opened up in Orange and this place is HUGE!! We came on a weekend and the line was out the door. So glad the heaters were on because it was super chilly that night. Once we got to the front entrance, we were then told there's a separate line for desserts and drinks. Damn... had we known, we could've saved ourselves some time waiting in line. Once we started ordering, all the cakes I wanted to order was already sold out :( We ended up getting a coconut cake, matcha tiramisu cake, and a hot Spanish Latte. There weren't any tables open in the front, but luckily the restaurant extends to the back. The lightening in the back was a lot darker than the front. We got our cakes pretty quickly, but the drink took a lot longer than we expected. Once our Spanish Latte had arrived, we realized the server who took our order, messed up and ordered us the Honey Vanilla Latte instead. Which was weird... because she inputed the order in front of us. Nevertheless, we accepted the wrong drink. Overall, we weren't mad about the messed up order because let me tell you---This was probably the BEST latte i've ever had in my life. Unfortunately, the matcha tiramisu fell short. The taste just wasn't there. This is my favorite cake at Urth and something about it was just off. I don't think it's sweet enough or made correctly. They still have to work out some kinks but overall, this is a great addition to OC. read more

I ordered a side of Brie and found a dead fly underneath the slices of cheese after I had already eaten two pieces. I let someone know about the dead fly. She took the plate to the kitchen and said someone would be out to talk to me. Instead of refunding me for the gross cheese, a guy brought out a plate with another slice of cheese and walked away. Not a word. No apology. Nada. I'm not eating the slice he brought out. I'm utterly disgusted. Urth is not clean. I do not trust their cleanliness after this incident. Everything on the menu is outstanding. There is usually a long line, but it moves quickly. They're incredibly efficient at this location. Drinks, desserts, entrees are all top notch. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is almost downtown Disney levels of magical with the fire pit high top table and the multiple fountains. It's a perfect place to enjoy a meal. read more

This place is incredible. An incredible waste of time. Second time coming. The first was so bad they gave us two free hot drink coupons. Our first time we got two rumi lattes, it took an hour to receive them. It's been a week and we tried it again. It took 40 minutes to get our two chai lattes. The girl didn't even know what I was talking about when I ordered the chai latte, she had to ask her manager. They also took an extra ten minutes to remake the drinks because they didn't use the right milk. If they were good, I would really really come back to this place because it's so close to my house, but alas, it is one of the worst drinks I've ever had. . They both are watered down with oat milk and taste like absolutely nothing. I can't believe I wasted my time coming back to this place, but I will surely not make that mistake again. What are the two stars for? Our first time, we got the vegan pumpkin pie. Our second time, we got a vegan chocolate cake. Both are just alright, nothing to write home about. I was sort of expecting a golden brown color, or something more... Oolong? It looked like water, and also tasted like water... It was like water with maybe a hint of oolong... It felt like I bought a cup of $8 water... I loved the atmosphere and the space though, so I would definitely visit again if my purpose was to study. The kind of drink you think about on the drive home. The coffee itself is solid and the craft is clearly there. My only gripe: the prices are a little steep. $8 for a latte adds up fast, especially if you're grabbing drinks for a group. This is firmly a "treat yourself solo" kind of spot rather than a "let me get the whole friend group a round" situation. I mean, yeah, I would hope so, but maybe a "I'm sorry" or something?? I don't ask for a free upgrade (since the breakfast sandwich was more than twice the price of the bagel). I even said, "please ring me up for the difference" since I'm aware I was charged for the wrong item. So I waited for my order again and left. Just more annoyed than anything, and perhaps this heat isn't helping but some decent customer service isn't much too ask for, is it!?

The baristas when I came in were very bubbly and answered my questions and gave me suggestions, and were funny too! I wish I got their names, but they were working on Monday early afternoon - I hope they get some recognition. We also got some samples of the food items (which may have swayed me to get the turkey panini next time I come in). Even with the experience I had above a while back ago, I remember going in to let the baristas know and they were very understanding and apologetic, which I really appreciated. VIBES: Probably one of the top coffee shops to get work done in OC. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: So many. Unfortunately, this visit was one disappointment after another. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. hoping for a peaceful coffee-and-breakfast morning. Instead, we accidentally wandered into what felt like a Janis Joplin tribute concert. The music was blasting at nightclub volume--not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had in mind. But surprisingly... that wasn't even the worst part. The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and the potatoes were still raw--hard enough to remind me they were once part of the ground.. My husband ordered the French toast, which looked suspiciously like it took a quick detour from Trader Joe's frozen aisle before landing on our table. There's nothing wrong with frozen French toast... unless you're charging $14 and calling it brunch. Another friend ordered the granola with berries. After a few bites, he gave it a skeptical look, pushed the bowl away, and decided breakfast simply wasn't worth the gamble. The coffee was decent , but honestly wasn't worth fighting the neighbors for a parking spot!

There are time that even the best business has a hiccup and something goes wrong. What makes a huge difference is how the business responds, and therefore, Rekindle gets five stars. I'm certain my next visit will be fantastic - I'll be posting an update in the near future. Wow - So Disappointed! Rekindle was at the Taste of Orange this year and I enjoyed one of the Italian sandwich samples they were handing out. It was fantastic! We met the owner - she was very charismatic and charming. Today we stopped by to grab an Italian sandwich, and I just cannot believe they served me bread that was so old and dry - it would have been perfect for croutons, but definitely nothing like what we had at the Taste of Orange. The bread was so dry I had to dress it up with some olive relish to eat it - I don't expect when I pay $31 for a sandwich and chai iced tea latte to get home and have to start working on my sandwich. I accept some responsibility for this, because honestly, who goes to a coffee shop for a sandwich.

It was served with a half avocado and rye toast the others in our party ordered pancakes, bacon, a chicken sandwich and a Yuzu drink. Everything came out in a timely manner and beautifully plated. I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. I cannot wait to go back to Bluestone Lane to try other menu items.

The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

As I'm writing this, I'm a little bit stoned and a lotta bit drunk on my day. Today was my second visit to Urth Cafe. First time, I had the stuffed French Toast and the Spanish Latte and both were amazing! The ambience is warm and extremely inviting. The service was quick and courteous- simply put, it is exactly what you would want. But today, I got the Pizza El Diablo and upon first bite, I knew this was gonna be an experience. Good food, should be just like good sex. A space in time where you find yourself and lose yourself at the same time. Where you want to devour what's in front of you. But only after you pause to appreciate it. This pizza tasted almost as good as my girl looks. And I understand, this is Southern California- beautiful women are everywhere, just like pizza is everywhere. But my girl?! She the fire. And again, this pizza tasted almost as good as she looks. I recently visited Earth Café in Orange County for the second time, and while the café itself has a lovely and inviting atmosphere, my experience this time was a bit mixed. The environment is great for chatting with friends or family, and we even enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake that was definitely the highlight of the visit. However, during this visit with my daughter, we noticed a few drawbacks. My daughter had the French toast, which was really good, and I tried the breakfast burrito with guacamole and beans. While the food was still tasty, it wasn't exactly what I had expected, and the service was not as welcoming as before. Our cashier seemed a bit disengaged and didn't offer the friendly or helpful service we were hoping for. Had such a wonderful experience at Urth Caffé thanks to Bryan! I came in for lunch with my nine-month-old daughter, and as any parent knows, dining out with a baby can be a little hectic when your hands are full. Bryan went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience from start to finish. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He truly made lunch feel easy and enjoyable instead of stressful. The sweetest part was that he even surprised us with a dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our day. It's rare to come across service that feels this genuine. Disappointed by the Service at Urth Caffé I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to Urth Caffé was frustrating enough to warrant one. I ordered a cold brew coffee and waited over 30 minutes without any update. When I finally approached the counter to ask about my order, I was met with dismissive and rude responses from the staff. There was no apology, and no urgency to resolve the issue. For a place that prides itself on quality and ambiance, the customer service was shockingly poor. Waiting half an hour for a simple coffee and being treated with attitude when asking about it is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and trains their staff to treat customers with basic courtesy. read more

As many have said the space is beautiful, and overall, the staff is doing best it can. But the ordering process, utilization of tools (Saturday night only using two registers when they have up to at least four available) and food value is terrible. I ordered a quesadilla (Vegan), the kale salad (which was overly acidic - no counter citrus or sweet ingredients) and the tostada that fit into a cupcake box to go for $45. No beverage or dessert. Saving grace for my experience was the door host Daniel (who had to deal with frustrated guests not knowing the process while the manager would run by saying something inaudible and look at "what did he say?" I have been to Urth 3 times in the past week @ the Orange circle location with my adult daughter as we truly enjoy their coffee and Avacado toast. However, their employee Jack A is extremely rude and condescending! Sadly both times that he took our orders he continued to be annoyed if he had to answer any questions regarding the menu. He stated this is not Starbucks! We weren't comparing companies! We had asked to talk to the Manager however he was on his break and not available. Needless to say I will never have Jack take our order again. Management please take Jack aside as he definitely should not be treating customers with annoyance & sarcasm. read more

Just had a fantastic meal at Urth Caffé between antiquing. Ordered a Mediterranean platter and everything was fresh and flavorful. The pita bread was warm and fluffy, perfect for scooping up the spreads. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want for a leisurely brunch - European café vibes with exposed brick, high ceilings, decorative tile work, and comfortable seating. I absolutely love Urth Caffe! It's hands down my favorite place to go for a delicious cup of coffee and some amazing pastries. This has to be the worst place to go to eat if you expect to get your food at a reasonable time. What is it about the yuppy places hiking up prices especially by colleges? It's not like the food is any different than a regular diner. The service here is so slow that by the time you get your food you'll be finished with your coffee or it'll be cold. Our omelettes were leathery and cold plus disgusting. I have no idea what he hype is about this place when there are so many places much better in the area to choose from. read more

I have been to this restaurant about a handful of times since they opened. I have been impressed each time. The level of professionalism is very appreciated. The food is always amazing no matter what I order. I am happy and satisfied with it every time. What I love most about Urth, besides the delicious organic food, is the service. One person in particular stands out: Bryan at the Orange location. He consistently goes above and beyond. Recently, my dad ordered a spicy pizza that turned out to be far too spicy for him. Urth Café in Orange is such an amazing spot to hang out and catch up with friends. The service is always great and super friendly, and the food is really good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect. It's located on a corner of the Orange Circle, so if you sit outside, you get to enjoy the view and the charm of the area. Amazing food but what doesn't help them is the customer service. I went in the morning to enjoy my breakfast, the drinks took about 30 mins or more to arrive, the people on the bar have to be more attentive to the guests. I came in for the first time . Mind you I'm not even from here and found a hair in my soup . I asked to speak with a manager and did not fix the problem . Just disappointing . rather then cashiers talking to one another why not pay attention to their guests . It's no wonder they only have 3 stars . I'll stick to LA locarions read more

All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.
