I don't get to pamper myself much, so it's been about 6 months (yeah, huh, that's what I say). My daughter is graduating from college and I thought I would pamper us with pedi's. We were walk in's on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few people there, but we were "seated" right away. The massage chairs are still as clean as I remembered, a must for me. They autoclave their instruments, and they ware gloves, so everything is up to my standards. My daughter and myself enjoyed US Nail's very much. I would highly recommend this business. Ended up walking out.. called to make appt. When I arrived the lady was no where near finished with the person in the chair. She asked me what we wanted . As much as I want to give more stars...their nail techs are just not that experienced. I got poked/bled more that 3x as she's got a heavy hand or just not experienced @ all...they need to practice more on hard powder gel and manicures. I kept telling her I don't want it too thick to no avail. Language barrier is huge at this location. I was from out of state and the nails are now chipping and loosely after 11 days! I have been getting gel nails monthly at us nails for four years and pedicures periodically and am shocked at the treatment i received there last week. I could have understood if the personal insults had come from an employee but they came from the owner herself! I went to get a full set today & when we came in they told us 15 minutes. We were sitting there for a good 34 minutes. Even then, I was getting my full set while my friend was waiting next to me for 40 minutes until they got to her. I was almost already done. I also asked her to fix my cuticles, & she told me to come back next time & she'll fix it because i really need it. Duh! That's why I asked. This was my end product. US Nails does it perfect every time. They remember you right away and actually are interested to talk to you. Get the #5, it's only $5 more than the regular and you get the royal treatment! This is one of the worst nail salon in Cathedral City. I was there yesterday got there at 3 pm there was no one else there. I needed a ful set of gel nails with my old nails removed also wanted a pedicure. I asked the price for my nails she (the owner) said $45 I said ok. The price for the pedicure I picked was $30. To begin with she started removing my nails then had me go over to have the pedi done. When they started my pedi she (still the owner) came over to do my nails. Still no one else there. Now when I'm getting a pedicure I like to relax and just get that done I don't like to feel rushed and uncomfortable. Anyways by the time I was done my nails were way shorter than I wanted and I was charged $105 then the owner even asked me for a tip. Unbelievable this salon sucks.... She didn't cut back lifting acrylic on my nails and just filled them anyways , I developed a fungus within the first week of having them due to the lifting , and when I went back to confront she wasn't accountable at all and suggested a fill saying "it wouldn't survive if I just fill them" she still charged me to take the whole set off and used the excuse of me working around "too much water" lol never again will I spend money at this salon read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I wish I could give them 0 stars to be quite honest. I went in to get Christmas designed nails and came out completely disappointed. I asked my nail tech that I wanted my nails shorter and she told me "Oh yeah they will be shorter." In the middle of my appointment, she stops doing my nails to do an eye brow waxing for another customer. Maybe she forgot I originally said that I wanted my nails shorter? I also asked for my nails to be almond shaped. The only 2 requests that I asked for were completely ignored. I was as patient as possible and decided not to be confrontational because it's the holiday season and I understand what it's like to work in customer service. Unfortunately, it cost me $50 to be embarrassed of what my nails looked like coming out of this salon. I've been going here as a loyal customer for almost 2 years but yesterday I had the WORST experience. The owner was doing my nails and her appointment showed up early so she was rushing through my nails and cured the gel polish all over my fingers. She filed them so unevenly and the design was rushed and sloppy. I told her twice I didn't like them and she kept making different excuses.... your nails are too short, this is what you asked for. When I went to pay I told her I'm not paying 30$ for this she started yelling at me so everyone in the salon was staring saying she's. First off I'm giving two stars because the place was clean and because they were open Sunday. Everything falls short after that. I called last Sunday to get am acrylic fill with a gel coat in top. .I was quoted 21..I made an appointment an went in..the polish selection is sub par mostly drug store polishes very few professional colors.. ( the Opi color I did pick was obviously water down with acetone..) I recieved my 20 minuted pedicure got my fill and was told they only use shellac on acrylics and that would be 10 more charge.. I asked her what about the clear coat she offered me on the phone she saif they offer it but they don't guarantee it. Well I opted for the clear gel because that is what I always get.
