As a previous reviewer shared, I signed up for Yelp just to write a review about this Post Office on N Hollywood Way in Burbank. I mailed a package to my daughter on July 1st. USPS site says package was delivered July 3rd. It was not delivered. Therefore, me, my daughter, and mother have called USPS. We were told to call the local office. We were given the number to a PO branch on Olive, but were told they do not deliver to street addresses. Only deal with PO boxes. Okay, thats fine. We were given the number to the PO on N. Hollywood Way, Burbank (which deals with street addresses. Called number, line is busy. Called again, phone rings, no answer (automatically disconnects); call again, line busy, phone rings, and so on, and so on. Oh, forgot to mention this is where the managers sit. That's right managers with an 's'. USPS should be ashamed! This appears to be a poorly run branch. No one can tell us where this package is located (because we cannot get someone on the phone). Shame on you USPS for your customer service and poorly run branch!!!! Wish I could give this branch a 0. This is why I rarely use the postal service because of stuff like this. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE IF YOU LIVE IN A HOME IN BURBANK AND EXPECT THEM TO PICK UP YOUR MAIL. At first their excuse was that I didn't let them know I was mailing out things! lol! How difficult is it to notice packages and a FLAG UP ON MY BOX???? Two days in a row and the packages are still there. This has been going on now at my house for 9 months. Called, got excuse that they are now using "outside help" so sometimes they do not notice..............bullcrap! It is because you don't do your own job MS. Supervisor. It is Saturday and I am screwed til Monday but come Monday morning, I plan to visit and also call the complaint line with the postmaster General. It was my first time using this location's services and I was so surprised with the amazing customer service here that I HAD to write a review. I have been to so many different post offices and I have had terrible experiences with each of them so I had extremely low expectations with this location. The gentleman working there (I believe his name was Ha) was so incredibly helpful. I hadn't even asked for his assistance but he noticed that there were better alternatives to ship my item than the way I was about to package it. He went out of his way to help me and ensure that my item was properly packaged. read more

been to many post offices throughout my life and I have to say, I've never had a problem with this Burbank location. (I've lived in los angeles) staff is always helpful, and lines are never too slow, even if they look long. most recently, some older dude there was talking with someone else but in a very loud voice so that everyone could hear, talking about how the post office lost his package that his daughter sent him, and saying that everyone who works there is a half-wit. he then proceeded to repeat the "half-wit" a couple more times to make sure everyone heard. I'm all for good customer service, but NO! NO! NO! you do not have the right to talk like that and make a scene for really no reason. stuff happens, no business/service is perfect. the staff has a job that not many people could do. show some respect! read more

They wanted to charge me for a roll of tape so I could use the box I was buying there. Other option they gave me was a box $11 more.

Every time there's a holiday the mail is hours late. It's already 6. I don't know why the same route takes twice as long. It takes me the same amount of time to put two envelopes in a mail box as it does one. I have made so many complaints with the route we are on for different reasons but nothing changes. read more

Ever since I moved from north hollywood into Burbank, my mail hasn't been being delivered properly, they completely lost one of my TRACKED packages stating it was delivered to my apt, ironically my regular delivery person happened to go on vacation for a week the day I go in there to ask about my package, I get the run around from the delivery person and the post office to say "go into the post office to file a lost package claim"/" you have to go online to file a lost package claim"/"you can't file a lost package claim", AND they help other people behind me in line FIRST!!! I went to the post office today and was not at all happy with the outcome. The supervisor Ms. Delgado is going to "write up" the postman for mishandling a package that he delivered badly, however I was looking for a refund of on $20.00. Here is what happened. On June 21st. a small package was tracked to have been left at my door step/porch at 4:21 pm, however the package was just flipped thru my wrought iron gate within reach of any person walking by our gate. Not only was it just flipped thru the bars but it was at 4:37 pm, not 4:21. With that said, after I checked the tracking and saw my mail was here I looked at my home video camera and saw this lazy postman flip my small package as though it were dog poo. I have pics and video to show this postman's bad job. The USPS did not claim responsibility for having my package stolen, but told me to try and get it replaced from the sender. Oh and by the way, the sender charged me $5.00 for postage that they may have paid the USPS. Since the postman flipped it within reach of any passerby, I claim they have to pay for my product. this responsibility is what is leading people to send packages, etc thru UPS and Fed-x . I wish I could post the video here, but take my word and speak to your postman today and be sure he/she would never flip your package. read more

Have not been getting any mail for the past 5 days went in and talked to their supervisor he told me I need to talk to the mailman and get back to you took my name and number and never called me very poor costumer service . Worst Post Office ever. I just signed up for yelp so I can write this review. The honestly don't care. I have worked with many post office employees and always have gotten great service and costumer care. This post office no one cares from the management down. They are rude, will verbally attack you if they think you are wrong. And honestly just don't care about you or your post. Unless you have to just don't go to this post office. I just wish you could complain about them. I've tried but I never get a response and honestly it isn't worth my time any more. I just wish someone from the post office would read these reviews and do something about it. It's not how post offices should be run. read more

They provide the worst service ever! The carriers need to learn the alphabet as they can never get our Apartment G right nor can they put the correct mail in the slots. The latest, they CLAIM to have left a package we have been waiting for on our front porch. No package and we were home all day with the door open. They are rude and could care less. If I could do away with them and do everything on-line and thru Fed Ex or UPS I would do it but unfortunately some of my bills require mailing as those entities are behind the times! I have this post office no less than 20 times today to speak to a rep and no answer. I cannot stress how much I hate them!! read more

I got so angry with the Post Office today I felt like screaming. Instead I came to Yelp. I'm not surprised to find so many negative postings here. I won't bore you with the ugly details. Let's just say the Post Office tried to deliver my package to a business on a Saturday. The business was closed. Sounds simple to fix, not! Without success I tried using the USPS web site, called the main number and tried hopelessly to use their lame voice recognition computerized help, finally spoke with someone to ask for a redelivery unsuccessfully, and finally tried calling the actual Post Office the package is supposed to be at. No good on all counts. No one knows anything or they don't pick up their phone. Nice. And people wonder why our Post Office is losing $billions every year. Geez. read more

This review is about the mail carrier who comes out of this branch and "works" my area. I regularly receive my neighbors' mail which makes me wonder where my mail goes. Recently I found a letter in my mail box that was addressed to someone IN ANOTHER BUILDING. Envelopes or packages that don't fit into the mail box are left out in the open for anyone coming off the street to grab. Calls to the Burbank branch were unsuccessful as the manager either "wasn't there" or "was too busy with other things" to take my call. The two complaints I have left with the post office head quarters have yet to yield results as well. I was promised call backs and didn't get a single one. Now I'm getting ready to call for the third time. Given all the sub-par reviews on here, I think I'll direct them to this site. Maybe this time the message will get passed on to someone with an actual work ethic. read more

ZERO STARS...........THIS IS JUST ONE OF MANY TERRIBLE POST OFFICES.....I have been getting jerked around since March 1,2014 because of the actions of this Post Office....I live on the East Coast and this Post Office, 3000 miles away is giving me grief and unwanted stress.....I sent a package thru the mail system back in Feb. of this year...it arrived damaged , due to more than "normal" handling by the USPS .....I have shipped to this date, 23 of this type of package and this is the ONLY one that has been damaged...I figured that "hey, accidents happen" and fortunately I had insured the package...well this is where everything went south...from the time that my customer turned in the package for inspection for insurance purposes to date, this whole process has been handled unprofessionally...I went thru normal channels and filed the insurance claim only to have it denied , and have gone thru the 1st and 2nd appeal process....each time I received a different answer as to why my claim was being denied.....It seems that you can take all precautions beforehand to ensure that your package arrives safely , but if it doesn't, the USPS can just claim that it was not their fault that it received rough handling and continue to deny all and any responsibility through-out the claims process.....I have now , since Aug 15 been trying to get my property back from this USPS office.....it took me 20 days to get thru to them on the phone before someone to actually answer (previous reviews have pointed out the fact that the Postmaster there prefers not to answer the phone,based on his own employees admissions)...it has taken just over a month since Sept 5th to get a return call concerning the cost of postage to return the item to me....while talking to a 25 yr employee of this office, he mentioned that he had seen many packages like mine (with less protection as mine did) come thru the system and never have a problem or get damaged....this was the Post Office's excuse that my package was packaged in a way that it could have never made it thru the system....well since this is my 23rd package like this and the admission by this 25 yr employee of all the others he'd seen...Does this not make no sense to other people???...I have been subjected to rudeness,been hung up on, confusion of the employee as to what their job was, told to stop whining, countless hours on the phone trying to get thru to USPS office that is supposed to be staffed ,and the initial employees bumbling of their job duties that started this whole fiasco....I can only hope that an earthquake opens the land and swallows this station whole and with all the rude and unprofessional employees with it.....the USPS as a whole should remember that they don't sell or manufacture anything, they provide a service and thats all they do......they as any other government agency have become" fat and lazy" and should concentrate on giving good service .... read more
