I keep trying to give this post office a second chance and a third chance but I just can't Aside from the the African-American lady that works the counter, and the pretty Hispanic lady...... If you go to the post office all the time you know who I'm talking about...everyone else here is rude... and they leave the doors unlocked to the main entrance so you get turned away even if you were there by 5:30 (lock the door then)!!!! Over it! Don't even get me started on the ridiculously rude lady in the back. I am going to avoid this place unless absolutely necessary. Heads up the postal place by Albertsons right up the road can help you and they are much nicer...just sayin'. GROSS! Watched RICK be rude and mean to 2 women ahead of me, both women of color. He had also made rude and abrupt hand motions to me as well. The next customer he got was a caucasian couple and guess what, he was as sweet as could be, smiling, laughing, and joking with them. His attitude along with his political decor on his cubby makes me wonder Hmmm. This post office constantly mixed up our mail and packages. I have called several times and talked to our carrier who said it is sorted at the post office before she gets it to distribute. No one can seem to help or get it fixed. Everything is automated now so details like being out of standard envelope size and wax sealing cost an extra 20cents per envelope. It can be frustrating going to the post office however the four stars alone is for the employee Benny. He was very kind and helped us with everything we need. read more

Spheres only like two workers here that are great the others are grumpy and rude. Issue with mail being stolen out of mailbox and they said it's because someone is breaking into them and there's nothing they can do to stop it. I live in apartments so I have a joint mailbox area and apparently someone has a master key to it who isn't supposed to and the postal service hasn't replaced the locks on it. read more

I received a notification that my package was delivered in the parcel box so I got my mail box to see no key so o could open the parcel locker. I come back the next day to find all the parcel boxes with the key in them and empty. After so many calls trying to get this sorted out all I received was empty promises to have their people check the boxes and never called me back. This location is trash read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! The people who work here have no regard for customer service, the man who helped me ripped me a new one because I asked for "the least expensive option" for shipping. Apparently I need to be a little more considerate about what actually happens when a package is shipped, and I should be grateful that it's affordable at all. Being screamed at by a strange man really does wonders for my PTSD, and I'm sure that the meltdown I had in my car after I left is completely unrelated. As far as post offices go- this one has the rudest employees ever in my opinion. I came in a year ago and a guy who thinks he is important (was wearing a red vest today when no one else does) He told me I was stuffing the priority envelope too much and they would not accept it. Funny thing, the Riverside location actually showed me how to do this to save money- then again today another employee here told me to try to stuff my package into the small envelope. lol Today, a female employee was NOT busy but talking and I walked up to her for her to help me- she just pushed me off onto the employee to her right and said "He can help you" - hey, you could have too! I actually said out loud- that was rude. He did help me but I was getting the same price those horrible machines in the lobby said and it seemed like too much. He offered some of their prepackaged materials to bring the price down- but it didn't fit. Then for some magical reason I have no clue but all of the sudden the price dropped by $2- maybe he just wanted me to leave? But happy for that. I come here mostly on Sundays to use the stupid machine (BECAUSE Riverside on Hole locks their damn doors!) overall- USPS is just like DMV- best to avoid if you are in a hurry or a bad mood read more

Waited over an hour to get my held mail (because our boxes keep getting broken into and it takes months to get the fixed). Waited over 20 minutes in line then the lady went on break and she was "the only one able to get our mail from the back". So we had to get in another line and wait for her lunch to be over. The second time I went in they took my id and handed me a bundle of mail. I get home (yes I should of checked there -lesson learned) they gave me my neighbors mail instead. So now I'd like to know where my mail is. Besides getting a P.O. Box somewhere else there's nothing I can do to avoid dealing with this incompetence. Worse than the dmv! I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews for this post office. I've never had a problem and everyone has always been extremely helpful each and every time I'm there. It's true, the guy in the red vest isn't the most peppy person but he's straight to the point and gets me out of there quickly which is all I really want from the post office. It's like the DMV - just keep the line moving and get me what I need so I can get out of there. Also, this post office is nice, clean and modern with tons of parking. I was nervous about coming here after the reviews I read, but I had to pick up a parcel that needed to be signed for. I arrived around 4pm on a Thursday and there were only 3 people in line. That was a pleasant surprise. As I got in line, right away I noticed the Red Vest Guy that people keep mentioning in reviews. Besides him, there were two other friendly looking clerks. I kept hoping that I would get one of them and not vest guy. As I was next in line, I kept thinking "damn it, hurry up lady so you can help me next!". But just my luck, I got red vest guy. I had my stupid "sorry we missed you" card and handed it to him along with my ID so he wouldn't have to ask for it. I figured any extra work he had to do would sour his mood. Well from there, the transaction went smoothly, I smiled and thanked him, and I got the hell out of there. He wasn't rude or gave me any problems so I was happy about that. I guess just be mindful of which clerk you get and hope that your friendly demeanor kills their sour mood if they happen to have one. read more

Very frustrated with our mail delivery! Had a vacation hold on our mail that was to end on April 1 and accumulated mail was to be delivered at that time. Still have not received our mail. AND on top of that, for our recent deliveries we have received notice that they tried to deliver and since we weren't home they are holding at post office. I've been home all week, and have received packages from all other carriers. Sad that we don't trust our USPS to work as it is supposed to. Tried calling, they don't pick up the phone. read more

My wife and I dropped off our Christmas cards in the outside Dropbox. Nobody received our cards and it's been about a month. Our cards were never mailed back to us. When trying to report and resolve the issue the postal staff and location manager were dismissive and rude. They shared their boxes had been broken into and fished. They said there is nothing I can do. They failed to lift a finger or make any attempt to verify my mail had been stolen. My family is out $100 now because we didn't buy "tracking" or "first class" for the 50 individual cards that went out. Really irritated at how the staff handled our situation. If I could give negative stars for customer service I would. Would love to know that the mailboxes are secured. As a tax payer and customer I should know my mail is going to be secured. No way for me to prove to USPS that I dropped the mail off so I'm out a great chunk of money for this location's poor security management. read more

The workers here are so rude! The customer service is awful! Every time I come here I'm treated badly for dumb things. Today I needed a piece of tape and they had none for sale out I asked the Asian guy and he gave me a piece and when I went to leave he yelled that his tape isn't free and to pay him. I had no problem paying but he didn't need to be rude and yell and if he would of just said that before I would of known. I avoid coming here and use other ways to ship but running a small business sometimes I have to come in and always regret it. They are actually very unapologetically mean here. One of the female workers called my daughter who is 1 1/2 fat and was making fun of her for getting upset after waiting in line for a long time. She's a baby they get upset. It's not just me, I have seen them be rude to everyone. The Asian guy made a lady cry as he was yelling at her about how her label was on the box wrong the other day. This is your job people. Typical Government organized institution. No service, bad attitudes and the usual. Try calling there local number if someone by chance answers they either hang up on you or tell you hold and 20 minutes could pass by and no help. Only gave one star because I had to put something... In March I went in to send something to my daughter. It was a very thin item in an envelope. The line was long so an employee helped me at the self help kiosk. Yesterday 7/7/2016 it came back to me.. It said postage owed! I followed all the rules and paid my money. The post office took 4 months to send it back to me saying it needs more postage.. This is just disgraceful!! USPS you really disappoint me I won't be using you again!!! read more

The post office really needs to review their mail carriers. I've received, on multiple occasions, stacks of mail that don't even belong on my street--not even for a close neighbor. I wonder what mail of mine has gotten delivered to someone else's house. There is a new system that the post office is NOT advertising where you can monitor what mail you are supposed to be receiving that day. It's a great idea, but it's also alarming because again I did not receive my mail and when I call to report it, I am put on hold for over an hour and then they close. Informed delivery daily digest from the USPS website. Mail carriers have to be held accountable for not doing their job correctly. read more

I opened a POST OFFICE BOX here. For about a year things went well. Then we started getting mail for someone with the same last name placed in our Post Office Box. The first few times I wrote" RTS (RETURN TO SENDER) not and this address" and placed the mail back into the mail drop. After a few months, I became very annoyed. I wrote a letter to the office telling them what was happening and requested they stop placing others' mail into our PO Box. Nothing changed. I walked into the branch and spoke in person with the Supervisor giving him a copy of the letter I sent in months prior. In the last two weeks bills we normally receive at this PO BOX have been returned to the senders. I am receiving calls from our utility companies informing me our mail is being returned with notification "RETURN TO SENDER NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED UNABLE TO FORWARD". What kind of nonsense is this? Our PO BOX is paid up for a year. One of the bills we receive at the PO BOX at this location was dropped off at my door step by the party that mailed it out as he performs an in home service. I now have proof of the mishandling of our mail to take in person when I make my visit tomorrow to talk with the Supervisor AGAIN! The counter service is fine. The counter staff does a good job. This station has a mail Kiosk you can use 24 /7 and for these services I have nothing negative to say, for PO BOX service we prepay for, I have nothing positive to say. They are giving me more grief than service. Update: I have tried to call the telephone number. The telephone rings, no one answers. I checked my telephone counter. It rang for 5 minutes straight, then the call dropped. I got a rapid busy signal, which some of you may not know the sound of because you may have never heard one in your lifetime. read more

Today I was there during lunchtime and had to mail a package registered mail. I didn't have anything but what I was going to mail. I had to buy all of my packing materials, box, tape and bubble wrap. I was there for about a half an hour while I packaged up and made sure that everything was correct. In mailing my package, on 3 separate occasions I had to ask to borrow some things in order to effect my mailing. I asked for a black marker, paper tape and a wet sponge in order to wet the paper tape; on all 3 requests they were very helpful. When I was ready, I went to the front of the short line and then Rick helped me out with great customer service. Throughout my entire time there, people came in and were helped very quickly. I didn't see any lines at all except for about 30 seconds. I will visit this Post Office again because the staff here is very helpful, courteous and always wear a smile. read more

This place sucks! I've gone to the Brea location and recently to this one and it's literally two totally different worlds! The Brea location has such nice employees who are ready and willing to help and answer questions for you. I couldn't have happier leaving that location when I mailed my package considering I don't ever mail anything, so I wasn't sure what I should be doing. Then I decide to go to my neighborhood one and the woman behind the counter was initial very rude with the woman she helping before I got to her. I can't remember her name, but she was short and slightly heavy, with short grayish hair. Complete bitch. I was trying to ask her questions, and she one give a crap answer and was trying to have me step aside. I grabbed my package and left. Unfortunately, I needed to go back since I wasn't in the area for the brea location, so fast forward a week and I go in to mail it off, and the woman asks me what I need to do. I told her I needed to mail this box off, but I just needed to tape it shut on one side. She told me I had to buy a roll of tape. Now I don't know about anybody else, but this is ridiculous to me. I'm not going to spend 4 or 5 dollars on that giant tape roll they offer, for the two strips I would need to take my box together. She had a tape dispenser with tape in it behind the counter and wouldn't let me use that one. The Brea location gladly taped up my box for me, no charges, and didn't try to make me buy tape for the box. It's small things like this and a smile that make the experience for the customer. Which is why this location is terrible! I will not be returning back to this location. Rude attitudes and unwillingness to help. What a joke. read more

This Post office has a good amount of parking. The staff is so so, some are great others not so much. Usually they have a few people available so lines move at a good pace. Lunch time and afternoons are terrible! So avoid going around those times if you wanna get in and out. read more
