Recently…read morewalked in on a Saturday and the employee was talking to his co worker - I waited a couple of mins and finally the other ups worker nodded towards me and the employee turned towards me and I said I needed to ship. He said they closed at 4. It was 3:59 and I shared with him I was waiting there while he was talking and he looked at his Phone and said "now it's 4" and I asked him if he was kidding and he said no. Then he said, "fine I can ship it for you what do you need?"... I said I needed to ship something then he said "oh sorry yeah we are closed - we closed at 4 it's now 4:02" I looked at him and said "this is why I never come here" he responded with, "good." Every time I've been to this UPS they speak negatively about other ups Locations and never offer help and if you ask for help they say no I drive the extra 10 mins usually for the Silverlake location. If not, balikbayan boxes are jumbo sized boxes filled with household goods, mostly food, that Filipinos who happen to be overseas send back to family and friends to the Philippines. For so many years now, my family and I have used Forex to deliver our balikbayan boxes to the Philippines. If you need a balikbayan box sent to the Philippines, call Mang (Mr.) Nick. Mang Nick and staff has always been friendly, and box pickup has always been prompt and on time. In addition, Mang Nick and staff straps the boxes at no additional charge for extra security. There's a slight discount if you drop off your box at the Eagle Rock office, but I love the convenience to getting the heavy boxes picked up. Balikbayan boxes are sent by ship, so shipment takes about a month to a month and a half, depending on the destination in the Philippines.

I had a wonderful experience at this UPS store. I had to send a return through UPS and I was in the…read morearea so I stopped by. Parking that I found was right outside on the street, however it's a little weird because if you park right in front you still have to walk around the whole bushes to get to the little ramp to walk up into the store. The planter is quite long so unless you want to walk through the full bushes then you have to go around. On entering my first impression is that the store looks haphazard and messy, but the staff helped me so quickly that I was in and out probably in less than 60 seconds so hey if they are good at what they do then I don't care how the place looks! I love being able to get in and out speedily. Of course today was a Tuesday around 11 so less foot traffic at this time.
