It's a little hard to find, there isn't any signs telling you where it is but your gps will tell you, 'you have arrived.' It's to the left of Amazon fresh in the passage way up the stairs. It's small inside but clean and helpful staff if needed.

New discovery.. due to homeless squatters, this post office lobby hours for package drop ofsf is now: 8:30 am - 6 pm M-F 8:30 am - 4 pm Sat. Their lobby used to be open 24-7 for packages drop offs. What an inconvenience the limited lobby hours have become for all citizens needing access for package drop offs after hours.. sign of the times, yikes

Located in a strip mall on the corner of Tampa and Rinaldi. It is kind of in a remote unit and there is no sign. But when you ask Google maps, for sure she'll give you the directions. It opens at 10am and people are waiting outside already. The 2 postal tellers are helpful with good attitude and they are efficient. The line went fast. Plenty of parking. Plenty of PO Box. Available Self service machine.

I can't review the inside inside as I've never used it but I do appreciate the inside - if that makes any sense - is open early. I often use the parcel drop box really early - like before 6:30am - as I go to the gym nearby at f45. From what I gather it's a great post office in a nice location with a lot of parking.

It's USPS, so going in your expectations are limited to begin with. Place is fairly large, but so hidden. I almost gave up looking for it until i saw a small hallway going into the building, followed the road to find this hidden USPS. At the time of my visit, which was my lunch time and probably USPS employee lunch time as well, there was a decent line of 3-5 people and only one worker. He took his time with each customer which took my entire lunch time. Perhaps it's best to avoid lunch hours for this location.

Will repeat what many others have said. Employees are terribly rude. That's probably what they're going for to drive less work...

The address for this location is 15701 Sherman Way. Van Nuys, CA 91409. Your box number is your unit number. They are able to accept deliveries from UPS and other carriers that previously would not deliver to a PO Box. For the PO Box section, they have extended hours up until 8 PM Monday through Sunday. This is a lot more versatility than before. I had a choice of going with this location or the UPS store and I chose this location because it's closer to the business that I'm starting. Prices are comparable with USPS being just a little cheaper. I think I can easily recommend this location. Edit is still a post office with all the postal services. This location even offers passport services.

You could hear people in the back but no way of getting a hold of someone. Of course I finally saw a sign saying that mail pick up started at 10am. Even though they're different offices, I assumed opening time was the same. Guess i assumed wrong. Oh well, guess it'll have to be next time. But trying to get a hold of someone was a bitch.

I went in to mail a package during a slow time. I greeted and spoke to her - as I greet and speak to everyone- with positivity, kindness, and consideration; however, she was dismissiveness, bitter, and rushed (even though there was no line). It's possible she has worked there for a long time, felt burnt out, and or was having a bad day, but when I saw her being very kind to an older gentlemen next to me - who she seemed to know and or who supposedly comes in often - it became clear she was conditionally nice to him and for whatever reason not to me. Her demeanor was a stain on the environment and my experience. I would encourage the Tarzana Post Office Management to revisit her employment status. In a society where there's a lack of kindness and decency, genuine people are hard to come by; when genuine people themselves are treated with disrespect and unkindness, action then needs to be taken, otherwise the company culture suffers for the other employees and the customers they serve, like me. For those living/visiting the Tarzana/Encino areas, I strongly advise driving further elsewhere to another post office if you want better service - or if you want to keep your joy.

I actually paid $2.17 but when the postal worker on the other end delivered it, they collected $6.00 from the recipient after being told "the sender screwed up." THANKS A F**KING LOT. Your stupid kiosk in Tarzana, CA tells me $2.17 and then you want some money for lunch? Not that 6 bucks buys anything anymore.
