ZERO STARS!! negative if possible! Eric, a carrier from this location, is so lazy that he will THROW packages into your yard to avoid having to walk to the door. I have footage showing him throwing my package through my fence, and hitting my car. The package rolled off the car and hit the floor. Of course, the item shattered as it was glass. after making a case and going to the location to speak with the supervisor, he refused to remedy the situation after admitting the employee has been talked to about throwing packages before. I rarely go to the post office these days but needed to track an outgoing envelope so ventured to this one. I came in the middle of a week day so easily street parked in front. There was no line, and Lan was friendly and was very helpful in making the best shipping suggestion. This location is fairly small and I can see it could possibly get busy quickly during holiday seasons, but this particular trip for me was quick and efficient! Much appreciated! read more

I called this branch. The phone rang 10 times or more, then someone picked up, didn't say anything and set the phone down. The rest of the day the phone had a busy signal. They just don't even take calls, they avoid dealing with customers. This branch has horrible customer service!!!! read more

I went in to drop off some ebay packages that were ready to go from my online business and I was assisted by an middle age woman named Jackie L. Right off the bat she seemed like she had a horrible attitude, I have had one incident with her in the past so I was not looking forward to getting helped by her. She refused to take my packages because the date on the ebay shipping label was for the previous day. I proceeded to ask her why the date mattered if the shipping label had already been paid for and she began telling me that MY ebay customers would think that the post office shipped the item late because I was bringing in the packages late to the post office. Confused as all Heck, I told her that the packages had a tracking number (as all ebay labels do) and it shows what day the post office ACTUALLY accepted the package. She argued "what if the buyer does not look at the tracking number" and that the customer would think that the package was shipped late by them. She then picked up another package and looked at it and proceeded to slide back at me rude as possible and simply said "oh thats very late, we are not taking that one" and advised me to get a credit from ebay and reprint the Label. I told her that ebay did not give credits on printed shipping labels and asked her if this was a USPS policy to not accept packages to what she responded "its always been a policy" Getting irritated because I kept questioning what MY customers and the date on the shipping label had to do with her she continued arguing that it was my fault for bringing the packages in late and she would simply ship them back to my house and reject them from being shipped. She continued arguing that the customers would think that it was them who shipped the item late to which I responded that it sounded like an opinion and not a fact. She rudely responded "you can do what you want but we dont accept them", at this point I simply took my packages back and decided to follow this up with a Supervisor. I dont see why its any of their business what arrangements me and my customers have, if they even know that it IS leaving late or actually printed a head of time and simply leaving when it should have or what business they have with what my customers think. As anyone who knows ebay will know that when an item arrives late you do not go after the shipping service but the seller IN the event I was actually shipping late. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My experience here has been totally awful. And it wasn't just one time, I've had multiple horrible experiences here. The employees here are flat out rude and must be miserable with their jobs. They only have 2 ladies working there at all times, one of which is extremely rude. The lines are always long and from my experience they usually hand you off to someone else to get you what you came for. They are rude and clueless at times and don't care about customers at all. I prefer going to the smaller P.O.'s so I use this one and the one in Hillcrest, since they closed my NP branch. I sell on ebay, pay for postage on ebay, package the item and basically just drop off the package here. It is usually just an in and out process. The times that I do need to process a transaction the CSA's are nice. HOWEVER, no one in lines knows what the H#LL they are doing. Get it together people!!! read more

The City Heights Post Office has scales that are consistently inaccurate and they are overcharging the community on a regular basis. I use this post office about once a week to mail large envelopes domestically and internationally that are always the same weight. Today was at least the fifth time in the past 6 months that they wanted to overcharge me because their scale was inaccurate. After the first couple times being overcharged, the post office staff and I figured out it is because the scales are off and they said I should ask them to check the scales every time this is an issue. So I do. But what about the rest of the community that doesn't know how much their mail should cost? They are being overcharged. All the time. When I pointed this out to the supervisor, his response was that he can't check the scales every 5 minutes. I'm going to start going to a different post office to see if this happens everywhere or just the post office in my low-income community. read more

Honestly, what the hell is up with this location? The last few months my packages tracking has been marked as delivered but are no where to be found. Only to show up a week later after the expected delivery date. At the moment I have one package marked as delivered on a day I was working from home. No, package. Now 2 weeks later still nothing. It is impossible to get an actual human being to answer the phone to try to track down a package. Not to mention the annoyance of constantly having other people's mail delivered to me at least twice a week. Sometimes addresses not even on my street. By far the worst post office. read more

I am livid. I'm tired of my mail being mishandled, lost, or delivered to a neighbor. This mail lady is rude af. I tried to talk to her nicely. She seriously ignored me. She purposely delivered my mail to the neighbors house or has thrown things on my stoop. The mail man before her was kind of new and bent photos that say don't bend on them in half and they couldn't do anything about it. Tf. Waste of my money,today I had more pictures coming and I tired to talk to her a week ago when I saw her about if she gets them slide then In my screen door or I can pick up at the post office. She continued to keep walking. But the reason was because when I spoke with management. About my damaged pictures he said he would inform them not to put it in my box. Is it wrong to bad mouth a post office or just all too expected? Clearly understaffed and those there work extremely hard. Depressing in an endearing way. Could use a stamp machine or something. Good for po boxes and that sort of things. Lines usually touching the door (inside door, not outside) which is actually not bad compared to other nearby post offices. read more

I had a pleasant experience here it being my first time. I was here to pick up a letter and the line was somewhat long but was moving quickly. One of the employees noticed my pickup mail notice and directed me to another window where everything was handled quickly and efficiently. The employees were helpful and friendly. Based on other reviews I'm quite shocked and yes the place could use a makeover and better lighting, but I came for the service and not so much the appearances and good service is what I got. read more

Just got back from this office and my biggest issue is that they have 4 windows where there should be AT LEAST 2 people working but at the time that I went there was only 1!! The line was long, 20 + people and the only guy that had his window open was acting as if he hadn't slept in a week. I understand if they don't have enough people working there but you could clearly hear 4 different voices coming from the back room and I also can understand if there aren't that many people waiting but like I mentioned before, the line was very long-oh! and 70% of the people there were over the age of 65, there was also an elderly lady with a walker. Horrible service!!. HATED IT- I suggest that if they are going to be bitter and lazy, then they need to get one of those machines that you can buy stamps from, because in my case that is all I wanted. read more

The guy that took care of me was rude. I noticed I missed taping part of the box I was shipping and I politely asked if he could apply a little more tape. He appeared annoyed and hastily said "well, you used the wrong tape. Do not do it again." He spoke to me like I was a child, which I am not. After the transaction was done, I noticed he still did not add my request for additional tape. He then put his 'next window please' sign up before I had collected my things and left, and went on break. I wish there was a zero star option. this place SUCKS! They have lost my mail twice in ONE MONTH. Worst Post Office ever!!! Every time I go here (and only because I have to since my packages get taken here if I'm not home to sign for them) no one wants to do their job. I went to pick up a package and the lady at the front desk didn't want to look through the mail and time me to wait to the side and the manager would be with me shortly. After waiting for 35+ minutes and the manager never coming out to help me, she lady said "Give me your ID. I'll just go look for it since apparently the manager isn't going to come out." Have not received mail for 4 days not even the usual junk mail WTF!!!! Did they die over there or what?

The current supervisor(asian guy) at the post office is a complete buffoon. I had issues with my mail not being forwarded for over a month. I was on the phone with him and with the main P.O customer service multiple times to try to figure out why my mail wasn't being forwarded. I finally got back to town and went into the P.O and spoke to a female clerk who solved the problem in less than a minute. All she did was walk over to my box and saw that the card they place in the box to indicate that mail should be forwarded got shoved to the rear of the box so it wasn't visible. While I was there I saw him interact with several other people who had issues and this guy obviously does not have enough sense or experience doing his job to be the supervisor. The other clerks had to step in and solve the problems he was supposed to being handling. What the first reviewer said is true about him being rude, seems like he tries to hide his incompetence by being a smartass. read more
