8:27 and there is a wait if 5 people ahead of me already. Wow.
    Audra H.

Local post office--they are kind and friendly when you enter and their service is the best it can be considering they are almost always busy when I go in. They try their best to quickly serve everyone in a quick manner but sometimes it is a wait. Patience as they work hard and try their best. I'm grateful to have a post office so close by.

She turned around 3x's to watch the line grow while she was doing training...never ONCE rang a bell, hollered for help, nothing just ignored

I have no clue who is running this place but...it should be shut down! NO PARKING NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ITS DIRTY EMPLOYEES DONT GIVE A **** The employees are terrible! They ignore the line (see photo) while doing training on the computer. She looked back 3 times and didn't holler for anyone, ring a bell, tell the customers that she will get something, NOTHING..she just turned around and looked at the line as it continued to grow! But then again, if you ever mailed something from her when she is at the counter...she's a robot who mumbles....I always let the person behind me go to her if it's my turn, I just can't........................ This Post Office is absolutely the WORST! Mark my words, whenever I mail a box from here or a large envelope it's either "lost" or damaged!!!!!!!!! Drive a couple extra miles and go to Carmel Mountain people....they greet you, it's clean and they ALWAYS have people at the counter willing to help you!!!!!!

This USPS is located right next to CVS, it's a little hidden because this is USPS building is super fancy. If you find a glass like huge building with blue tiles and lots of mailboxes in the corner, you've come to the right place! Really huge inside with lots of room to package your goodies if you havn't already. They have a self serve station where everything is computerized and you answer a bunch of questions on the screen before dropping off your item. The wait time is typical of most postal services, and is expected but never really loved..ya know? I think I waited 15-20 minutes with just two people ahead of me. You can't predict the wait because when I went one person was behind me and during my whole 15-20 minute length of wait in line, I counted back an additional 12 people behind me. The folks here were really nice so please don't put out all your anger of not being able to wait or have patient onto them :) Also don't get mad at people in front of you that have tons of packages, random questions they have , etc. Again, you really cannot predict the wait time, or what the people in front of you will be needing as far as services go. I recommend if you havn't packaged anything or wrote on your box yet, don't waste your time on the side doing that and jumping in line, just jump in line if there is at least a few, and then write as you wait. Package as you wait, fill out that form as you wait. You can thank me later. They also sell stationary, cards, shipping supplies and have plenty of boxes for you Priority or Flat Rate mailers. Plenty of nice wide, angled parking. If parking is full, just park at CVS and walk up.

Unwelcoming staff, chronic inefficiency, and frequent technical failures are the norm here. I'm sharing this particular visit because it illustrates perfectly what you can expect every time you walk through that door. I came in with the simplest possible transaction: a prepaid label, already purchased, with a QR code to scan and print. A 30 second transaction, tops. The self-service kiosk had a long line, so I made the decision to use the full-service counter instead. I waited 20 minutes. When I finally reached the teller, I showed her my QR code and was told, without a hint of apology or friendliness, that she couldn't scan QR codes and I needed to go use the self-service kiosk. The same kiosk. The one with the line. Back I went for another 20 minutes, after which my actual transaction took all of 30 seconds. So, 40 minutes, one needlessly rude employee, and a full-service desk that is apparently incapable of performing a function that an unmanned machine handles effortlessly. Par for the course here. If you have any flexibility in how you ship, do yourself a favor: go to UPS or FedEx. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this location in particular. The USPS as a whole is struggling, but this branch has truly distinguished itself in all the wrong ways. You've been warned.

I have mixed feelings about my recent experience at this post office location. Darshana, the…read morepostal clerk who assisted me with my packages, was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I had over a dozen boxes to ship, but she zipped right through them with a cheerful attitude. I used the large flat rate box, which was only $22.80. This was really affordable in comparison to FedEx or UPS. What's missing is a cart for customers to wheel in heavy packages. I had to make multiple trips. Luckily my boyfriend was there to do all the heavy lifting! When I left, I grabbed additional boxes because I have more shipments to make for work, and I really did not appreciate a snide remark from one of the other female workers (I didn't catch her name). I didn't take the boxes just to hoard them, so the rudeness was uncalled for. This negative interaction resulted in a downgrade of my review from a 4 to a 2.

I had my application, my photo, a check and my old passport. Dorothea was awesome and so was David. I had an appointment and I still had to wait about an hour to be seen because they didn't have enough staff. The place was clean and there's a lot of parking. My only gripe is that there's no public restroom. A place where people have to wait a long time, should have a public restroom. Sometimes you just got to Go! When I got there I had to use the restroom (nerves). I probably had that LOST look and I was asked if I was looking for the passport office. The two or three women who were there, we very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

All places in my mind start off as a 5 star review and as the experience continues, depending,…read morestars get deducted. I find that most of my experiences with USPS tends to be human related annoyances combined with poorly operated bureaucratic nonsense. First, tell me why, two letter sized parcels cost me close to $50 to mail??? Thats some serious nonsense. Deduct one star for the price. My first letter sized package had a button in it and because of this, the clerk at the desk told me it won't go thru scanner and it has to be mailed as a package and because of this, it costs $10. I was like okay. Deduct another star for that. I had to mail some documents overnight and for it to arrive the next day, it cost $35. That seemed ok to me, I guess. Still highway robbery to mail some paper, but whatever USPS. Another star deducted. This is a nice post office on top of the hill, lots of parking available, but its a bit of a walk to the main area. I don't mind but it might not work for those who have limited mobility. You can get passports here, there's a bunch of PO boxes, self service kiosks, mailing supplies. I might be a very disgruntled American but seriously how are the prices long term sustainable? This is a government service which I belive this current administration is trying to privatize, but really?? Don't count on me making any regular visits or wanting to mail anything, because everytime I come, I have to forfeit a kidney or 3.

My parents always came here for their passport and visa needs, and the manager Connie Ngo took excellent care of them. When I called to confirm if she was still doing passports, Connie was very pleasant on the phone. She gave me a few pointers on what to wear. Since the background of the photo will be white, she suggested that I wear something colorful so my photo won't look washed out. She also mentioned that she accepted cash, checks, and money orders. Credit cards were also accepted, but there was a 3% surcharge. It was nice that she told me this information upfront, because I typically do no carry a lot of cash and I certainly do not bring my checkbook with me when I go out. I would have incurred a 3% surcharge on my credit card had she not disclosed this information upfront. Upon arrival, Connie warmly greeted me and gave me a form to complete for my passport renewal, then proceeded to take my photo. After that, she verified my form was completed and asked if I will be getting a passport book only, or passport with a passport card (government ID). She explained the benefits of getting this ID card, so I decided to get it for $45 extra. She also explained that in 8-11 weeks, I will receive 3 separate items in the mail: my old passport with holes punched it to make it invalid, my new passport book, and my passport ID card. I made out 2 checks: US Dept of State: $160 (passport book & passport ID card) Postal Etc: $65.06 (service fee, including passport photos) Connie mentioned that if I travel to countries that require a visa, she can help get that prepared and she can be a resource to confirm if a country needs a visa. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. I came at a busy time and Connie was basically running the show herself. She had a high school kid help out, but he was practically useless. She had to give him orders on the simplest of tasks, but he still wasn't able to do it right, so she had to step in. If you come and don't get Connie's undivided attention, have patience. She's doing her best to tend to all customers and keep things moving. She's a direct and no-nonsense kind of lady, and this attitude may come off as rude, but I didn't find her rude. There was a customer who was pumping the liquid hand sanitizer and made a mess on her counter, so she told him "it's liquid, not gel, so take it easy on the pumping and don't leave a mess." Despite the busy crowd, the service was quick. Including driving time to and from the store, I was done within my 1 hour lunch break. This store has all kinds of other services, including mailbox rentals, prints, scans, copies, fax, money orders, mail services, mailing supplies, custom packaging, notary, keys, greeting cards, snacks, etc. There are plenty of parking spaces in the shopping center, with reserved spots specifically for this store.

She seems like a real dishonest scam artist.
