This place has the rudest people I ever met. The men a little better but Juanita needs to be fired. She has harassed me constantly and my mother. I told her to hold a package for me because I needed it to be delivered the next day . She went ahead and sent it anyways to the Roland Heights main post office where all the mail has to be sent to first before they mail it. I had to drive all the way down to Roland Heights to get my package so I could have it mailed with another carrier. Went back to San Dimas post office to get a refund of my money since the package was not sent. Juanita tells me well that she sent it to Roland Heights and refused my refund for her mistake. read more

The employees at this post office have horrible attitudes the place is very disorganized the employees talk to you with very little respect. The lady I dealt with today treated us like we were not very intelligent like she knew everything. She basically pushed us around and made us feel that we should not go there again I think someone should go there and give them an attitude check. The women are the worst the men are OK. read more

The workers there are one of the nicest I've every seen at a USPS location. HOWEVER-MISSING PACKAGES, I have to leave a one star because one bad apple ruins it all. I drop my packages off here occasionally over the past year and I've had several instances of stolen packages. Every times it happens my tracking number says "No further information is available for this item." Very suspicious about one of the workers. USPS is meant to be built on trust and I'm extremely upset to have lost a lot of money over time. So I have to leave a warning to people I hope the managers and authorities look into this issue. If you notice your package disappearing after you drop it off please report it as well. We need to oust this bad apple. read more

I needed help with shipping for new business I was opening, staff very helpful. I go often usually just to drop off packages. Recently I had to mail things line a little long but it moved at a good pace. Also went it on 4.14.14 to mail tax payment. Not too busy, but they were prepared had staff in lobby to help before people got to counter. I don't expect to not have lines at any post office or any other State or Federal Government office. On my visit to this postal office today, February 17th 2016 I interacted with two of the women staff. They were extremely rude and intolerable of my simple questions. The lady did not finish assisting me and was also incredibly unprofessional with her coworkers- demanding them to help others behind me, then proceeded to send me after those customers when I was clearly trying to finish my order with her. The two men on the other hand were very tolerable of her comments and helped me in a speedy amount of time. One rotten egg can stink up the whole place. I had a PO box here, and because of an emergency with my parents' house, was 10 days late in getting there to pay for the next 6 months. Instead of locking me out of the box and charging me a late fee, which I expected and was fully willing to take care of, they cancelled the box altogether. Even worse, instead of holding onto the mail for me (again which other post offices have done for me with no problems), they sent all of it back! No apology or anything; worst service of any post office I've ever used. read more

It was my first time actually shipping an item out and I was scared the employees were going to be no help since that is how my past experiences have been at other locations, but I received outstanding customer service from Eddie. Mailed a certified letter from this post office in San Dimas on Weds Sept 21 to Rialto (25 miles away) for Friday or guarenteed Saturday delivery. Letter not in tracking database until Thursday afternoon on Sept 22. Tracking # next updated on Friday Sept 23, showing letter 400 miles away in San Jose. Next update, "misrouted" notice on Saturday Sept 24th. Letter now sent back down to Los Angeles with arrival on Tuesday Sept 27th. Letter sent to Rialto area office on Weds Sept 28th. Letter to be delivered by Saturday, arrives at Rialto address on Thursday Sept 29th. This letter contained time sensitive documents that were needed for Sunday. This letter should have arrived on Friday, but no matter what on Saturday. Because of the USPS "mis routed" mail, I lost $200. NOT RECOMMENDED !!! read more

Every time I come here the employees do an excellent job. I recently dropped off a book swap book at this location and La Verne. La Verne LOST A BOOK! And didn't check in my book for a full day, and didn't even send it out until today! San Dimas checked in the book noon the same day, and it's already en route! My parents had a fantastic and efficient passport experience! I will always come here now! It's right down the street from Ramona Middle School where I drop my daughter, so it's perfect to slide in my book out orders! If you need passports COME HERE! They won't forget documents they will submit everything! And your mail won't get lost! read more

I am a Business Customer of the Post Office. Had a horrendous experience with a gentleman claiming to be the PostMaster here. I am calling from out of town regarding an account I have at this Post Office. PostMaster refused to help me even after I identified myself as a Business Customer and HUNG UP on me today. ALL he had to do was look my company up in his computer. The USPS has a major problem knowing how to interact with Business Customers. Why is it some USPS personnel think they can show Business Customers with contempt? This has to be the most unprofessional post office I have ever had to encounter. They continue to give my mail to other people in our apartment complex. The first time it was a week of hassle for the first item. I was promised by the manager that they would be monitoring where the mail went more closely. Then they tried to give me the "your mail man is on vacation this is a substitute" excuse. I'm sorry but distributing mail to the RIGHT place is not hard. Anyone can do that so if these many mistakes are being made? Then obviously some people need to start getting fired. Then a week later I check my mail box and there's nothing there. I call then again for the new packages that should be there. Manager promises to call back, called back yesterday with an attitude stating that my packages have been in my mailbox since they were delivered. I said ok I'll check when I get home. I check? There's NOTHING in my mailbox. So AGAIN, they're confusing my mailbox for someone else's. I have yet to contact this UNPROFESSIONAL post office again and file a complaint against the post office as well. My patience has been tried. I would choose zero stars if it let me. read more

A worker call Norma was very upset during my application for a new passport. While she was helping us a guy from the sherif dept came with some stuff to mail and she stop helping us to go help him find boxes and gave him tape And all the forms he needed even the manager came outside to help this guy because he was wearing a jacket that said sherif while there were a lot of people waiting . Lost 2 international packages that were shipped on the same day. Have always been told there is insurance on the packages but when I went to file a claim I basically told I was SOL. Not to mention when I contacted them I was told I had to wait a month to file the claim. They were over $500.00! I was also told that the customs number on the form is not a tracking number, if scanned, it is a courtesy scam. Basically another way to get you to pay higher postage. And to top it off, the woman that helped me, I pray shes not the manager, was so rude I was shocked. Even to the customers ahead of me. She need a CS seminar or should stay in the back room. I was at this location trying to get my passport, I had the RUDEST experience I've ever had probably in my whole life the associate/carrier Norma had such a bad attitude, told me I needed copies of my birth certificate, okay I left the office went to get them copied, she never advised me had to be black and white!! Okay granted my fault, I left come back with the documents she makes me wait 20 minutes before assisting me!! Then had the nerve to tell me if I don't like her attitude to go somewhere else?! As if she owns the postal office, she then says she's going on break she doesn't want to help "that Customer" everyone In line hears her. I call for a manager and the manager gives her 20 minute break( mind you I'm on my 30 minute lunch) she comes back STILL with bad attitude if not worse!! Arguing with me while the manager allows her to argue, needless to stay I'll be reaching to the upper management this woman needs to either stay behind the scenes or be terminated. I have lived in the community for over 10 years and always received excellent service until yesterday. I am not sure where this employee came from but she was rude and obnoxious. If she represents the US postal service as a whole, then I completely understand why the organizaton if failing. she was the worst person I have ever encountered - she should not be in any type of customer service position. When I called to speak to the postmaster, she was the person that answered the telephone - I knew it was the same person from the tone of her voice - USPO just tell us you do not want customers and we will goaway!!!! read more

I've been sending packages on many occasion here and I practically know the employees. Most of the times, the service is fine although it can be quite slow at times. This is why it came as a surprise one day when I attempted to deliver an international package and the employee who attended to this refused to input the info in the computer or to attach the customs form. He claimed that they do this at the end of the day and just left the package with the unattached form unattended on the table after I paid $85 for this. I have been sending packages from this location many times and I never had an issue. Moreover, I told them that I believe people make mistakes and I don't want to risk the customs form getting lost by the end of the day, and my package getting lost as well. I believe that if I pay for a service it should be performed and I don't see why he could not take 1 more minute of his time to finish the job. I asked for a refund and he called in someone else. Instead of just inputting the info and attaching the form as I requested, the lady just decided to get me the refund as she "just wanted to get me out of there." Throughout this whole conversation, I feel that I was met with disrespect and unnecessary rudeness. Needless to say, the La Verne post office sent the package as they should have had without even a request prior to the shipping. I don't think that employees have the right to be abusive to customers and make up new policies just so they can prove a point. So happy I am moving so that I don't deal with this treatment again. read more

Okay, last time must have been a fluke. The past few times I've gone were great, though I dealt primarily with the men who work here (who are super friendly, efficient, and pleasant). Shoutout to Mike (and another gentleman whose name I did not get)! Not sure what happened to the aforementioned woman (haha) but hooray! Their prices are way cheaper than what they charge at the UPS store nearby (we're talking $13 vs. $4 for a small 6" tall box as the lowest quoted price). These people are the worst!Our mailman claimed our dog bit him but there's no way our dog could have bitten him since our mailbox basically hung over our front fence. He stopped bringing our mail for a little over a month with no written warning or anything and finally left a note when we went up and asked him why we stopped getting mail.He lied and said "Oh yeah I'm not delivering it and didn't want to write you guys up cause it counts as a strike against you guys" we thanked him and asked him if we can get our mail the following day. Well the next day it turns out he did write us up and we received a letter.We ended up just moving our mailbox outside of our fence to make the mailman feel more safe and comfortable delivering our mail.We then went to the post office and complained about him since we hadn't gotten a warning for over a month about not receiving our mail which when we went to go pick up we had about two boxes worth of deliveries,and IMPORTANT mail (insurance paperwork since I'm PREGNANT).We also showed them a picture of where our mailbox was placed before and where we moved it and the person who we showed the picture to said himself "You didn't have to move it,it's going over your fence!" so not only do we think we went out of our way,other people did too.Anyways, ever since we complained we don't receive packages whenever it lands in the hands of our mailman.We receive packages from all other carriers but suddenly not from him. I don't work so I'm home everyday and am always sure to try to have the dogs in whenever he comes so that he doesn't feel so petrified of my 8 pound yorkie and Labrador. My husband has caught him twice just leaving the notice that we have to go pick up our mail at USPS without even bringing our delivery to try and deliver so he doesn't even try!He is being rude and unprofessional and I've called multiple times to tell them to leave the packages on my porch,or place small packages in the mail box and to complain about our mailman and nothing has been done!Get did of your employees that are jerks and too lazy to delivery a package! read more

During my lunch break today, December 17, 2018 at around 12: 20, I went to San Dimas Post Office to complain that I bought a $ 5.00 worth of Forever stamps but the machine did not dispense the stamps. The male supervisor without even doing an eye contact told me that that machine worked last Saturday before he left from work and worked fine this morning; and that there's nothing he can do for me because there's no way for him to find out if I got the stamps or not. He sounded like I was about to commit a fraud. He did not even bother to look at my receipt. No apologies, no solutions offered. Is there a camera somewhere in the dispensing machine so I could prove that I did mot get any stamp? Is that machine efficient and does it not have any record of stamps release with record of payment? Because of that supervisor who hardly gave me an ounce of customer service, I have to call Bank of America to dispute the payment I made last Sunday at 7:15 pm. I recently visited the Bonita Ave. Post Office for a "2nd opinion" after having a problem with my hometown Glendora post office.The facility was clean, the wait was short and the customer service provided by Eddie was excellent. So very different from my experience at the Glendora site. Eddie answered all of my questions, provided me with contact information and went above and beyond my concerns. Johanna is the nicest person ever!! She has helped me numerous times over the years. Whether it's empty in there, or there's a line out the door, she is friendly, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. She consistently provides great customer service!!! Recently I went in with my daughter for her passport and we got lucky that Johanna was the one who helped us. Unfortunately there's a woman supervisor there that I've observed being downright rude and obnoxious to customers on several occasions. It was unbelievable, especially given the fact that she was supposedly "in charge". We were relieved we didn't get stuck with her to handle our passport paperwork. These people should really be ashamed of themselves. Since moving here 5 years ago I have had at least 6 packages that were to be delivered to me disappear, and at least 3 times, my mail has been delivered to my neighbor. That's 9 screw-ups too many. I don't trust my neighbors to take the 30 seconds out of their very busy and important lives to set my package which was delivered to them by mistake in front of my door. Never in my life, wherever I've lived have I ever had to deal with anxiety over whether or not my mail will actually be delivered to me. Sorry, but I call that BS. Now I have important packages related to business that come to me. The lack of care that the delivery-men show in making sure the right mail goes to the right residence is unfathomable! Don't these guys swear an oath? Who holds them to it here in San Dimas? No one it seems. How about they hire mail delivery-men who can actually read addresses properly.
