I went to the counter and asked if I could get help scheduling an appointment as it kept giving me errors online, the lady was very rude and wasn't helpful just insisted I had to use the website or the kiosk (which was the same thing with the same error) I tried to explain that I have been trying for a week now in hopes that the error would be fixed, she didn't care she just kept cutting me off directing me to the kiosk. Okay whatever, go the next day during their walk in hours which is 3-4pm lol. We got there at 1:50 just incase to find 10 people infront of us. The worker came and said she was only going to be able to get about 10 people, we decided to take the risk and wait. After 40 minutes the line hadn't moved AT ALL. The lady went to lunch, came back, and instead of helping the passport line she was helping the front registers which already had three other employees checking customers out. She was just doing other tasks and putting off doing any of the passport walk ins. We waited about another 10 minutes to see if she would come back and start working on passport but she didn't; we left. They don't want to work, and they're rude.

If there is a flower blooming by your mailbox, and there happens to be a honeybee on it, you won't be getting your mail delivered that day. If there is a car parked within 20 feet of your mailbox, dang it, the driver just cannot access the delivery location! If it's the second month in a row with a Friday the 13th, oh lordy!...you ain't gettin your mail today, no-sir-ree! There were other employees there, but they would walk by and go somewhere else. It was maddening! There were people standing in line who just had to drop a package off because the self-help bin was full (and therefore locked). Today, December 31, I walked in at 12:33 p.m. and the counter was completely closed (the steel curtain was down). No signage on the doors to indicate the branch would be closed today. Luckily the main door was open, and I could use the self-serve stand to mail my pre-paid business packages. BUT, if the self-serve bin had been full (and, as a result, locked), I would not have been able to drop off the packages I needed to send out today. Today is not a holiday and the hours posted online are as follows: "Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) Local Post Office locations will be open." I would use the Rockrimmon or Briargate branches and avoid this one. Briargate is exceptional.

She is uncooperative and extremely aggressive. I have had to go numerous times to this post office recently and have nothing but negative experiences. Holly also confronted my partner who also needed services and slammed a door in his face and threatened to call the cops bc he was told to wait for information by a manager. This is extremely inappropriate behavior especially when working in a public service building. I sincerely hope this actually gets taken care of in the future.

This post office building is epic! They still have the original interior from when it was…read moreoriginally built (1940's) and the exterior is made of Manitou Greenstone. So much history in Manitou Springs and their buildings have a lot of character. If you are around the area, you should stop by and check it out!
