Union of So Cal Movers affiliate, Dragon Movers was prompt and easy to work with. They were courteous and thoughtful, setting out furniture for me to sit at while they worked. When the mattresses wouldn't fit in the storage unit, they offered options, gave me time to decide, and helped me resolve the issue. Cost after markup is lower than other companies I researched.

Zach and his team were extremely efficient, professional and personable. Quick but careful with all the items and made sure to move them exactly where you want them. My first time hiring movers and let me tell you, it was the best money I've ever spent. Highly recommend this moving company! Would definitely use their service again.

Zack's team was friendly and efficient. They disassembled furniture, consolidated smaller boxes and bags and arranged everything at the destination. I was impressed by how fast they were and how well they fit everything together. They took great care of my things now that I've experienced working with such professional movers I can't imagine how I would have done it without them! My husband and I live in the Inland Empire area and recently upgraded our living situation from an overstuffed, tiny one-bedroom apartment to a new house, and we had a fairly tight turnaround time so I was perusing moving services in the area on Yelp. USC Movers reached back out to me after I submitted a quote request and were incredibly prompt in responding to any questions I had about the move! Based on their speediness and the value of the service, I ultimately decided to book them. I was sent a confirmation leading up to the move day, and everything was set. On moving day, Gabit and his team showed up promptly right at the start of the window they gave me as their estimated arrival time and got right to work surveying our many, many boxes and oddly shaped furniture we had to move. Within minutes, we went over the paperwork and they were on their way, hustling the whole time. In all, we ended up doing around 4.5 hours (again, we had a LOT of stuff!) and Gabit and his team were excellent -- even able to make two trips given the distance to make sure they got to all the stuff we had waiting. The two movers were incredibly friendly and made my husband and I laugh on a stressful day, which was so appreciated! I would highly recommend USC Movers. Their service is top-notch, price is excellent, response time was super speedy, and they made things so much easier on our moving day. So glad we booked them!

Scraped patio furniture due to improper handling

USC movers arrived on time and were friendly and efficient even after nearly getting their truck stuck on our steep hillside street. Overall I was very happy with their services. However they did not shrink wrap or blanket pad my brand new and very expensive patio furniture and as a result scraped off quite a bit of the powder coating. I would recommend making sure that everything that could be damaged is wrapped before it is loaded out. After posting my original review, I was able to get in touch with the company and resolve the issue in a reasonable way.

Got the referral for USC movers from a friend who just used their service a month ago! Good communication, prompt on expected arrival time, wrapped and packed my items with care, moving smoothly and efficiently. They reviewed what items were going (since it wasn't a whole house move) and asked me to check that they had gotten everything as requested. Asked for clarification and satisfaction upon unloading and placing items in new place. Pricing was decent - moving with professionals is expensive anyway you slice it. Dos and Bek were friendly and all things considered, they made this part of moving a pleasant experience! read more

ERIC and RIZA are very good. Took care of our items and were careful when bringing large items inside ensuring that the walls and doors do not get scratched or damaged. They were patient with my requests to place items in specific rooms. I did go over the 3 hours since I only requested 2 movers and I had too much stuff but I happily paid for the extra hours as it was well worth their effort. read more

By far the best moving company I ever used! I decided to move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on a Monday before the 4th of July festivities. The movers not only came on time as they indicated but were also efficient. They're very professional and extremely friendly as well. Everything was communicated prior to the move and were on point with providing location during the trip as well as their ETA for delivery. These movers as I stated were hands down the best ever! Movers did a great job overall. They were quick, and for the most part, careful with our belongings. They were also able to add in a last minute storage unit to storage unit move request for us. There were very few bumps and drops but nothing that seemed damaging since they did a great job wrapping and protecting our items. We still haven't unpacked our belongings to see their condition but will update the review if needed. Only thing I would request is to avoid asking the customer to leave a review "right now" before they departed. Just a simple "we would greatly appreciate it if you left us a review" will work just fine. All things considered, great job Nomad Movers. read more

My husband and I booked Nomad for our move today at 10:30 am and it's now 3:20 pm, with no communication from Nomad whatsoever. We were told twice our window would be pushed back to 1-2pm and then 2:30-2:40. They've now stopped taking my or my husband's calls. I'm not sure if they forgot about our move or double booked but now we're left in a pinch with trying to find new movers extremely last minute. I don't mind having to wait for movers but 5 hours past our appointment time with no follow up is frustrating to say the least. If they couldn't do our move, I wish they were upfront and honest about it. We heard great reviews from our friends who used Nomad so to have this experience is disappointing. This is the worst customer service and moving experience I've ever encountered. Do NOT book if you're actually trying to move on time and on the correct date read more

Very pleased with the whole moving experience by Mish and Gabi of Nomad movers! After comparing 8+ companies in the local LA area, I went with Nomad due to their competitive pricing and simple approach to the move. Our appointment was set ahead of time to 8AM, and Mish always kept in contact via text and phone to arrive on time. They systematically packed the boxes first in their truck, followed by furniture, with bed and art frames being packed last for safety. In total the move took 7.25 hours for a 1br and 1 office apartment with 45 boxes into a loft apartment. I wish I had hired another 1-2 workers as the two men did great, but it takes time to move the boxes through the apartment complex. I highly recommend at least 3 movers, and you will save money this way. If I were to move again I wouldn't hesitate to rehire! read more

Awesome experience...and I've moved enough to know lol. Their response time was instant, and making a booking was easy with a correct estimate up front. I was given a flat fee, so no surprise billings, which was great for planning purposes. I moved long distance, from LA to Sedona, and they packed up my apartment and delivered my things the same day! I hired these movers a second time to move my house. This time was more expensive but I'm assuming because they said I needed 3 movers instead of 2 like before. This time was not as smooth as the before because of the language barrier. I had to stay and watch the guys and guide them because they did not understand what I was saying. They packed trash after I wrote trash on the trash bags. A few times they packed things I asked them not to pack so I had to view the boxes periodically. It took a lil over 8 hours for 3 guys to move a 4bd house, 3 story townhome (majority of everything was packed in boxes prior to their arrival, and furniture was taken apart). They made sure to not damage any furniture or damage the walls moving furniture out the house which was greatly appreciated. They took a quick lunch and were right back to work which was also greatly appreciated since it was a rainy day and I wanted to get everything done before the rain started up again. My only problems were that I just had the carpet cleaned, so I asked them to wear the booties I provided. They wore the booties outside the house and inside so that defeated the purpose. I also didn't like that I was asked several times to leave a review before the job was done and after I said I had already left a review in the past. I also didn't care for them asking for a tip, I thought that was very unprofessional. When it came to paying this is where it got weird. The total I was told didn't add up to me but I let it be. So when he asked for a tip I was confused because it wasn't calculating up in my head. About 30 min after they left I got a call that they undercharged me and they needed to come back for more money. At that point I said no because I knew that was wrong. Then they said they confused me with another costumer and that I was over charged. When I asked them to bring back the money they said they couldn't because they already left. I thought that was rude considering they were ready to come pick up more money but couldn't bring back my money. They then said they could Venmo me and sent me my money later in the night. It's been 5 days since I hired these movers and again I'm asked to write a review. I understand the importance of a good review and I understand how bad a not so good review can be for a small buisness. I know the awkward situation I dealt with isn't a big deal so I felt no need to write about it. But because I'm now being asked more then 5x to write a review, I am. Again they were great movers the first time and they did a good job the second. I'm just not sure I'll feel comfortable hiring again. read more

I had a really good experience with Marat and Murat. It was a Sunday. They were on time. Texted me 30 minutes before and arrived on time. They worked hard, efficient and did an awesome job. They moved so fast and were almost like jogging between house and their truck! I didn't realize that I had so many stuff and they were unpacked until we started the move. Marat and Murat had to work longer time than expected and left very late in the evening. No other words can express my feelings just I can't thank them enough. Stellar experience. I purchased a massage chair on Offerup, then requested a specific pickup time based on the owner's tight schedule, which the movers were able to accommodate. They arrived 15 min early, and knew what they were doing. Disassembled the chair, moved it downstairs, transported to my place, and even accommodated my last minute request to move it upstairs to my bedroom (up a tight stairwell). Then they re-assembled it, and it's working great. This all happened quickly, no scratches, no mess. Alan and John were very professional (and strong!). Very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company! From the very beginning of planning my moving this company gave me a fantastically professional service: big thank you to a manager (Abzal) who helped me with logistics prior moving. Movers (Kuka, Misha and Alex) that came to me this morning, did they job really fast and clean. They wrapped everything super nicely and didn't waste no space in my storage. I wish I would call them earlier to help with a small packing as well. The work was heavy but they made it seem so easy! I worked with Ayan at Nomad Movers for a move from L.A. to Portland. I was nervous to choose a company because you just don't know. I am so happy I chose Nomad. Ayan was on time, professional, kind and such a hard worker. Met me in LA at my storage unit, he worked quickly with one of his guys to load everything, drove to NorCal, picked up more stuff and drove all the way to Portland and arrived on time and got everything unloaded and set up that night. Max and his crew helped me with a super last-minute move. We were driving the uhaul we rented long distance and weren't sure when we would arrive that day. The company was very flexible and it was easy to communicate with them. We had multiple delays due to road closures and rerouting, and Nomad Movers was very understanding throughout it all. Once the crew arrived, things progressed smoothly. Max and his crew were very efficient, careful with our furniture, helped with putting furniture together, and friendly. Nomad movers are great! We moved our 2 bedroom from LA to San Jose. First their flat rate was the best we have found. We contacted at least 5 other moving companies. The movers came the first day, wrapped all the furniture, and carefully loaded everything into the truck. They did not damage the walls, floors or the stairs. They were extremely careful with our furniture. The next day we made the long trek to San Jose. This is the only moving company you will need! Iurii, Jonas and Freddy just moved me a few hours ago and I cannot begin to tell you how helpful and quick they were. I would definitely recommend Nomad Mover to anyone who is looking for a professional and responsible mover. The movers from Nomad Mover are polite, punctual and most importantly they keep the promise. I hired them to move my 2 bedroom condo. They finished the job ontime within 3 hours as promised. Merey's team at Nomad worked tirelessly without complaint for nearly 8 hours that included stairs, elevators, a stop at a storage unit, plenty of fragile items and much heavy furniture (including family heirlooms). Kuka and Fedor were fast and careful when moving my belongings. Kuka was quick at wrapping all my furniture and made sure that they were safe for the move.
