Such a cute brunch spot in Tustin! The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and so aesthetically pleasing. It's the kind of place that's perfect for a brunch date, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a relaxing solo day. We started with the Classic Mezze, and I really loved the tomato dip. It was fresh, bright, and flavorful with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. It paired so well with the warm pita and was a great appetizer to share. The Santa Ana Omelette was definitely my favorite and something I'd highly recommend! The melted cheese was so gooey, and the fresh pico de gallo added the perfect pop of flavor. Every bite was creamy, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. My friend ordered the French Platter, and it looked so beautiful on the table. The pastries were buttery, flaky, and definitely on the richer side, making them perfect to enjoy with coffee. The Utopia Latte was sooo good! It had delicate floral notes, and the white chocolate sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. It was smooth, fragrant, and such a unique latte. The Strawberry Salad was light, crisp, and super refreshing, especially alongside the richer dishes. For dessert, the Pistachio Baklava was the perfect finish. Crispy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweetness. If you're looking for a beautiful spot for a brunch date, a coffee catch-up, or simply a peaceful place to unwind, this is definitely worth checking out. The food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful, and the whole vibe makes it such an enjoyable place to spend a slow afternoon.
I don't mean to sound like a cliché, but this is definitely a hidden gem! Absolutely loved brunch here and can't believe this was barely my first time! everything we ordered was pretty good, but my favorite definitely had to be the crispy feta rolls and the menemen! Of course the cacio e pepe was delicious, but if i had to go for only one thing, it has to be the French breakfast platter. I obviously needed a coffee too, so I got the utopia latte which was topped with rose and pistachios and it was literally a dream. We ended up sitting outside because it was such a beautiful day and the patio is a perfect cozy spot to enjoy the day. Definitely can't wait to go back and bring friends!
It is an American version of a European cafe. The color is bolder and there was music over a speaker system. The portions of the food are also Americanized. It was HUGE! Great selection and variety to satisfy everyone's palate. Our favorites were the mushroom soup, potatoes, chicken Alfredo, and lattes. The service was very good. The staff were friendly and the food came out quick. Sat outside for our party of 5. The AC wasn't working inside and there are only smaller tables.
Had breakfast with my husband and we both had omelettes. We sat outside. I had orange juice and the florentine breakfast plate. The soujouk sausages were unique. I liked the sauce on the side and had to ask for extra. My husband ordered additional fruit and it was given in a really small cup. It was pretty busy and service was okay.
This is a chic, european themed cafe. The staff is nice and they have a bakery section as well as options for hot dishes. We started with a strawberry avocado salad, and got a cacio e pepe for our main. Got walnut baklava for dessert. Cacio e Pepe- This was an interesting twist on cacio e pepe. It has mushrooms, a cheese base, finished with a crispy cheese lace and served with a slice of garlic bread. The flavor was decent but the pasta was on the dry side. Strawberry Avocado Salad- The salad was served fresh with a generous amount of greens and sliced strawberries. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Walnut Baklava- I was not a fan of this one sadly. The pastry was soggy but it was a sweet treat at the end of the meal. Some improvements could be made on food items but the experience was good overall.
POV: you went to Utopia European Caffe for "just coffee" and somehow left with a full brunch, dessert, and 200 photos for Instagram. This Tustin café is seriously so cute -- cozy European vibes, pretty drinks, and food that makes you want to order "one of everything." The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is rich and flavorful, the bolognese is dangerous in the best way, and the Utopia Latte with rose petals and pistachios? Basically the main character of the table. Honestly, this is the type of place where you say "let's keep it simple" and end up staying for two hours gossiping over Turkish coffee. 10/10 brunch behavior.
This cafe was pleasant for a lunch date. The table space inside is a bit limited but we grabbed a spot on their nice patio. Would've been nicer had it not been so hot outside, but that's not their fault. We enjoyed the food. Wife thought the pancakes were really well done. The bolognese was good but felt lacking something that would give it more flavor. The feta and tzatziki taquitos were an interesting combo and I liked them. Not a bad choice if you're in The District area and looking for a place to sit down.
Place is on District St which is conveniently very close to the parking lot, and ease of access. Place is big with 10+ tables on the covered patio and few tables inside. Tables inside for two is a bit small but that is the European way. Service was decent, but weird they bring out the meals separately for your table. Also weird but this one I like, is you can order pasta at 9:30am!! Iced Matcha Latte (sweet) was really good, and not bitter tasting. 5/5 French breakfast platter was good. The croissant a bit dry but not made in house, definitely store bought. French fries had great seasoning. Brussels were a bit uncooked for me, but the spread of food and sauces/dips were a great touch. 4/5

Aesthetically pleasing restaurant and food presentation! They offer both inside and outside seating. We chose outside on this beautiful day, and they have a massive patio roof to cover guests from the weather. The food was so delicious! I got a light nutella french toast, and it was super generous with the nutella spread, and the berries were fresh and crunchy. We also got their brussel sprouts and I loved it! Perfectly flavored and paired well with the tzatziki sauce. The waiters were nice and was consistent in prebussing our table and checking to see if we were okay.
Cute little European cafe located in The District in Tustin. They have both indoor seating and an outdoor covered patio area. This spot has great brunch vibes, but you can also go for dinner as well. You can also order their breakfast items all day! Order at the register, and they'll give you a number to put on your table. Someone will bring out your food to you when it's ready. I like that they have Turkish speciality dishes like the Classic Menemen and Housemade Manti. These were my favorite! The Classic Menemen has eggs, butter, garlic, herbs, bell pepper, and tomato, served with baguette slices. I don't see Manti Turkish Dumplings at restaurants too often, so when I saw this on the menu, I had to try it. It did not disappoint! These dumplings are stuffed with minced beef in a tomato sauce with yogurt. So yummy! I also like that they have a variety of breakfast platters, including a French, Mediterranean, English, and American-style platter. I got the French Breakfast Platter that includes eggs, home-fried potatoes, soujouk sausage, croissant, sauteed Brussels sprouts, and brie. On the side, you get fresh fruit, jam, and butter. Very filling! The Baby Arugula Salad was colorful and refreshing! It has feta cheese, walnuts, cherry tomato, and sun dried tomato with a lemon vinaigrette and black pepper garnish. If you're looking for something lighter but filling, would definitely recommend this salad! For a side, the Fried Cauliflower is a great option. It's served with a tzatziki sauce on the side. If you like Turkish coffee, they have it here! It's even served with a piece of Turkish Delight.
Had a great experience here. Almost everything we ordered was delicious and thoughtfully put together. I had the Bolognese. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly with the rich, savory meat sauce. BF had the Breakfast Sandwich - grilled salami paired with the melted five-cheese blend, scrambled eggs, and their utopia sauce, inside a ciabatta. He wasn't a fan; said it was kinda greasy. I did really like the potato wedges that came with it. Super crispy and perfectly seasoned. For drinks, the Utopian Latte was yummy. The combination of espresso, white chocolate, and rosewater was unique but really well balanced - not too sweet, with a subtle floral note. The whipped cream, rose petals, and pistachio on top made it feel extra special. And the Pistachio Éclair was the perfect way to end the meal - light, airy pastry filled with a creamy pistachio filling, with just the right amount of sweetness and a nice nutty finish. Overall, everything felt elevated but still comforting. I'd definitely come back.
This little cafe is quaint and open early on the weekends. All other food places don't open until later so they have my money. There is the option to order at the counter for take out and to be seated and get served. The staff this morning were friendly. The place was about half full when I arrived a little after 9:00 am and people were still coming in. We love their Pomegranate Blossom Refresher drink. Not too tart and not too sweet. It's perfect! We have yet to try their Pome-Nade (aka pomegranate lemonade). The chocolate croissant I ordered was like their take on a Dubai chocolate croissant. It was heated up and drizzled with chocolate and crushed pistachios. The female employee mentioned she would be putting chocolate in the croissant after it gets heated but there was none, just chocolate on the top. I want to come back and try more of their food. They have items like breakfast plates, omelettes, gelato, pasta, and salads, in addition to pastries and desserts. They also have one retail wall with a lot of tea sets, coffee, tea, and candies.
A Mediterranean Cafe - what a great concept! I ordered the soujouk kashar panini and it was hearty and packed with flavor. Portion size was great too. TLDR: Relaxing space for brunch or a coffee break / work day. Tip: If working, remember to bring noise cancelling earbuds AND your own source of Wi-Fi. - - - - - - Utopia Caffe has a very relaxing ambiance sans the chilly winter breeze if you're visiting in the winter, since both doors near the corner are open. The restaurant itself is tall, though feels homely from its decor, specifically the gold on white and a few plants to spice it up. I ordered an Iced Latte, and this was one of the smoothest, earthiest lattes that I've had in a while. There were no detectable coffee grounds, and the espresso was bold, though not dark. The music can be quite loud, so if you prefer a quieter environment, make sure to sit outside or bring a set of noise cancelling ear buds if you want to get work done :) read more

We went here on a double date for brunch and this spot is super cute! It does get busy during brunch time, so do you expect a wait. My partner got the French breakfast and I got the Florentine omelette. He also got a vanilla latte a chai latte. Everything tasted great, I thought it was reasonably priced. They all came out looking really pretty and well played it. You can tell that they had pride in their establishment. That always makes me feel really happy to support a business that really cares about what they're serving. It was a perfect spot for brunch. I highly recommend it. They had quite a bit of options we didn't try, so I'm sure we will be back to try other menu items! read more

I ordered the pesto pasta and a white hot chocolate. Both looked really aesthetically pleasing and tasted amazing. The pasta was cooked perfectly--not overdone--and had a nice, balanced flavor. The service was also great. The girl helping us recommended the right drink, and when my friend realized she had forgotten to ask for alternative milk, the staff quickly remade her drink with a smile and brought it to the table within minutes. Service was amazing. The servers treat you like you are fine dining which I love. FOOD AND DRINK CAME OUT SEPARATELY BUT VERY CLOSE TOGETHER. 10/10. There are cute little heart locks reminding me of Paris on their outside patio fence. The decorations are exquisite. Definitely my favorite cafe in Oc just because of the atmosphere. But the food was perfect. Saucy juicy messy eggs mixed in a piping hot salsa (Menemen) with fresh Sourdough to soak up all the flavors. And the unsweet Matcha Latte is so incredibly frothy and sweet in its own way. You don't need any sugar. Walk up to the counter to order, the entryway is kind of misleading and people often mistake waiting to be seated by standing outside the door. Food was decent! Plated very nicely and there was plenty of outdoor seating as well as some indoor seating. Fresh squeezed orange juice was good but pricey. The Parisian plate was good but it wasn't anything special. Ordering Tried this place for the first time on a Sunday around 12pm and there was a short line leading up to the front doors. I'd say we waited for about 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad at all, and you'd order at the counter. While waiting, a worker will find a table for you and assign you a number--we ended up sitting indoors as it was all full outside, but outside definitely has a better vibe. Ambiance This place was so boujie but like in a "I went studying abroad for a semester and now this is my entire aesthetic" way. Lots of roses, travel props, and flowery decor. I also liked how there's a counter where you can get self-serve water, napkins, and hot sauce. Food My partner and I got the French Platter, Utopia Latte, Cacio E Pepe, and this lemon round tart: - French Platter: 8.5-9/10 - Cacio E Pepe: 7/10 - Utopia Latte: 7.5/10 - Lemon tart: 8.5/10 Platter was sooo good, reminds me of when my parents cook breakfast and put a little bit of everything on a plate. The sausage in particular was so flavorful and I loved the brussels sprout. I honestly couldn't finish it because of how filling it was, ooof what a time. Cacio E Pepe was alright, my partner tried it and said it was a little peppery. Garlic bread was yummy though, it had a parmesan layer on it if you're a cheese fan. Mushrooms were cooked well. Latte was not as sweet as I thought, but they get bonus points for being so pretty. It was pretty thick and I got it with oat milk, and I wish I had gotten a fruiter drink with my french platter (just because it would've been better to wash the salty food down better). I probably wouldn't order it again if I were getting something heavy again. Lemon Tart might've been my favorite out of everything we ordered. It was the perfect amount of tangy and tartness. Would definitely try some of their other desserts next time. Overall, I'd rate this place a 4.5 if I could, and I will be coming back! This place has been on my list and I finally got a chance to try their breakfast with hubs on a Friday around 10:00am back in September. I've always seen a line out the door, but luckily, it was short when we arrived and took about 10 minutes to place our order at the counter. This is located in The District, and is visible off District Drive (the street to enter The District from Barranca near Jamboree). It might be easier to park across in the lot where The Winery Restaurant is and walk over. Hubs ordered the Florentine omelette ($15.00) and I ordered the American breakfast platter ($16.00). We also got the sea salt cream cold brew ($6.50) and latte ($6.50). The girl who rung us up was nice, but veeeeery distracted with her phone. Hubs asked for no onions on his Florentine, which she verbally acknowledged, but ended up getting lots of onions instead. Clearly not paying attention. So, hubs' Florentine only had maybe 2-3 bites of spinach and lots of onions on top of the omelette (if you see the pic, there's more onions under the toast). The inside only had a small amount of melted cheese. Regardless, the omelette was big and fluffy, and the (soujouk) sausages and home fried potatoes were good. Just not happy about the onions, which he hates. My American was good, too. It's a common breakfast menu item, but here they give you beef bacons and grilled salami, yummy. The eggs were nicely over medium as requested. The cold brew was ok though. The our server was really nice, and seems to be working here long enough to know a lot of the patrons. read more

we had high hopes coming here for dinner considering all the good reviews, but we were disappointed by the service and the food quality. the guy at the cashier barely said a word to any of us and our server acted like he was annoyed to serve us. idk maybe they had a long day but still not a great experience tbh. my friend's sandwich had stale bread and funky cucumber, my salad had barely any toppings and it was $15 :( but we also had a pasta dish that was pretty good so there's that! kinda a let down, read more

Was searching for a cozy coffee shop around the Irvine area and found Utopia located within Tustin Marketplace. All in all, it's a cute and cozy cafe with a relaxing atmosphere that transports you to Europe and I honestly admire the unique aesthetic! The service was a bit slow for a Tuesday evening as I had waited perhaps 15-20 minutes or so for my latte to come out despite the lack of other customers around. The Utopia Latte itself was not super sweet (as requested) and had a great flowery aroma and taste to it. I even how they placed actual petals on top as garnish. I've yet to try the food next time but am sincerely looking forward to it! read more
I have mixed feelings about Utopia Caffe. The location is at the District, which is great because there is plenty of parking along with an opportunity to venture and do more with family and friends. Every time I've passed by here, there is always a line and so I'm glad I got to have some time to experience Utopia Caffe. Inside the cafe there's a lot to see. The cafe is filled with merch - anywhere from Turkish Copper Coffee Pots to coffee beans to chocolate bars. And it's all so charming! We ordered the English breakfast, chicken pesto sandwich, Utopia latte, caramel latte and the mediterranean breakfast. The Utopia latte was delicious - I was able to capture all the flavors of the white chocolate sauce and the rosewater, I would definitely recommend. I wish I can say that their food was just as good. I was surprised that their food lacked flavor. We didn't enjoy any of the three meals that we ordered. And it was disappointing that their customer service wasn't as friendly or customer-oriented. I do appreciate that their theme is unique - it's a "go-to place for all things European" and their food and drinks are "inspired by sights of Europe that each city has to offer". With so many cafes to explore, I don't see myself visiting again. read more

So I've been here before. The food is great. The portions are generous. Just look at the attached pictures and there are so many options. The lower rating is strictly based on management and bad customer service. We came here for brunch with another family, and my family of 3 adults alone spent $120. Our food came out promptly considering how busy it was. And everyone loved their food. Here's were things went wrong: Our friend was getting their Cold Brew delivered (they serve their drinks on this elaborate tray) while doing so, the waitress, accidentally, spilled the coffee and it spilled all over my dress, on my back and onto my hair. THANK GOD it wasn't hot coffee!! The waitress apologized and that was it. I think sometime later someone came and gave us wipes and napkins for the floor. Management however was only made aware of the situation when we mentioned it. Even we did mention it to him, the gentlemen simply apologized, and didn't know how to respond? Mind you, we weren't asking for a hand out. We had already collectively of two families spent well over $200 and he didn't even offer us anything. Only until we explained the extent of the spillage did he hesitantly offer a slice of cake.. I'm always trying to support local businesses. Food prices and dining out these is so expensive (their OJ is $7!!!) and the manager looked at me like it was no big deal that one of his waitstaff spilled coffee on me, on my hair, on my dress on the floor and again, lucky for them it wasn't hot.. not a great representation of your business. Obviously it was an accident. But the waitress didn't tell management, we did. And he should have responded better, especially for how expensive it is to eat here!! read more

Came by during lunch time with the coworkers for a quick debrief. The restaurant struck me like a cute place you would take your child for tea and crumpets with a twist of Turkey. Ended up setting on the chicken pesto sandwich, Turkish coffee, pistachio baklava, and a pecan passion fruit slice to go for the wife. The sandwich would be lackluster without the bomb sauce that it comes with. The sweets were fantastic. And if you wanted a kick in the keister to move for the second half of the day, this is the way.
