Ever since my friend introduced me to Utopia, I have been going here for my pedicures for well over a decade. The dark & quiet pedicure room and use of oil for the massage is what sets them apart from other places. They have 3 locations, but the Green Bay Rd location in Kenosha is my favorite. In this still semi-newly built location they have a coffee bar so you can get a caffeinated drink or water for here out to-go. I have never even lived closer than 45 from Utopia, but it's stilly go-to place and worth the drive. Tip: If requesting a certain staff member during your online booking the drop down selector does NOT work. You must write it in the comments section when booking. Critique: They recently switched from choosing your nail color by looking at the nail Polish bottles to this color swatch book. Viewing mixed up colors in this way is... ‍ If trying to compare a red to a red, you can't just hold them up against each other and it makes the indecisive, like myself, even more indecisive. Not a fan and suggest at the ever least, but groups of colors by each other to make the color selection process much easier read more

We felt like we were rushed and my nails are already coming loose I got them.put on a week ago They did not have what my daughter wanted and she was rushed to make up her mind. I got pink and white and she got a plain color In and out in 45 mins which usually takes longer. Very rude for your person to sit there and joke with the worker next to them instead of concentrating on what you are paying for My daughter and I will not be going back. The location on green bay rd. In kenosha was so relaxing! I walked into a dark room with these big glass bubble walls that turn color and you can even get wine. It was the best ambiance i've ever seen. Armando gave me my pedicure, and he was absolutely amazing and listened to what I wanted him to focus on for my feet. A loyal customer for 15 plus years, I'm very disappointed with my experience today. 1. Made appointment online choosing specific technician and was told it wasn't guaranteed because I didn't reiterate who I wanted in the comments. 2. The guy didn't use cuticle softener or push back the cuticles on my toes or hands. 3. He made one of my fingers bleed. 4. He didn't use the warm oil on my legs for the massage. 5. His thumbs nails were way too long as they dug into my arches and my palms when he was massaging them. 6. He turned the light off before he scrubbed the bottoms of my feet. Who does that? You can't see if you've done a good job or not. 7. He tried to convince me to get a gel manicure twice when I just wanted regular polish. ( I have my reasons.). 8. He was on his phone on and off through out my appointment. 9. THE OWNER CHECKED ME OUT AND WHEN I COMPLAINED HE DIDN'T OFFER EVEN A DISCOUNT! That's poor customer service. After 15 years of being a customer I wish I would have been taken better care of! read more

I came in for a pedicure and the service itself was great very relaxing and well done. However, the front desk experience left a lot to be desired. The check out receptionist didn't greet me when I approached, didn't smile or make any effort to be welcoming. After I said my service was great, she simply said "you're set" with no further acknowledgment or appreciation. It's disappointing to end a good appointment on such a cold note. Customer service at the front desk really sets the tone, and I hope this gets addressed for future visits. read more

Years ago the service and ambiance were great now it's just a mani/pedi farm. Terrible pedi. John got polish all over my toes - not just the nails - and didn't clean the over polish off. He also managed to get polish on my sandals. If you can't keep the polish on the toe nails then don't put the sandals on before you start applying the polish. Total service lasted 32 minutes from the time he collected me from the waiting area until he sat me at a dryer. It wasn't relaxing as a pedi should be. It was a rush through the service so I can do another pedi. I suggest the owner concentrate on delivering quality services, hire competent techs, and work on customer service. One star is too many but you can't give zero stars. read more
